Overview
Cycle through hidden side streets with a local

Join our 3,5 hours bike experience to feel the real vibe of Amsterdam. In a small group we will visit the less touristy places of the city and show the hidden gems of our city. You don’t have to be an experienced cyclist, we will go over easy roads so you can get used to the Dutch bike and the traffic. We take care of the bicycle for you, we have bicycles for every size.

We are happy to see you at this experience.

What to Expect

This Experience will start in Amsterdam West in front of an old water tower. Then we set out to explore the history, art and culture of Amsterdam in classic Dutch fashion: by bike. We will end in a small brewery for a nice local brewed beer. Along the way, we’ll see modern architecture like the EYE Film Institute Netherlands and I’ll show you hidden art, nice cafe’s to hangout, old factories and neighbourhoods most people miss.

We’ll pass some of the most beautiful canals as well as former shipyards from the 17th and 19th century. While pedalling, we’ll pass historic drawbridges, an old Russian submarine, small canalhouses and see some of the most beautiful street art and graffiti. We’ll also hop on a ferry at two different times to see parts of the upcoming Amsterdam North.

The tour ends in the microbrewery Troost, one of Amsterdams newest breweries. They have more than 10 beers on draft and also several non-alcoholic alternatives.

Duration: 3,5 hours
Time: 2pm – 5.30pm
Included:
– Bicycle
– A Local Craft Beer
– Dutch Snack
Meeting Point: Watertorenplein 6, Amsterdam
(in front of Cafe Amsterdam next to the white Water Tower).

Fantastic Tour

This was tour second time to Amsterdam and so we wanted to find a bike tour that would be slightly different and this was perfect. Pimm covered was both entertaining, knowledgable. The topics he covered included, local business developments, architecture, culture and local thinking. He...More

Personal, small group bike tour of Amsterdam

Stephan's friend Martin led this group. He personalized the trip a bit according to people's interest (e.g. someone worked in construction, and we got to see a hotel built inside a crane). We were staying in downtown Amsterdam, so it was great to see the...More

Great way to spend a day in Amsterdam!

Stephan was an excellent host--friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He took us to areas of the city we would not have known to explore on our own, and he helped us get acclimated on bikes in busy Amsterdam, which made me feel more comfortable when we...More

Great fun - Stephan is a great guide

Really worth doing if you want to get off the beaten track in Amsterdam and see a lot in one afternoon. Lovely guide Stephan will give you lots of local knowledge and a beer at the end - what’s not too love!

A wonderful way to learn about Amsterdam

Stephan has a charming demeanor and a strong knowledge of the layout and the history of the city. His bike tour showed us both the old and the new: seventeenth-century townhouses and twenty-first century art installations. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole outing.

Thanks Thomas, I love the combination of old and new, Industrial versus cute old canalhouses and graffiti versus the old Dutch Masters.
