What to Expect

Visit the Rijksmuseum, one of the most famous museums in the world, and enjoy fast-lane entry with this ticket. Stroll through the museum's more than 80 galleries while marveling at the 8,000 treasures that tell the story of Dutch art and history. Home to the largest collection of Rembrandts, the Rijksmuseum also houses Rembrandt's best-known creation the Night Watch. See large collections of other important Dutch Masters from the Golden Age: Johannes Vermeer, Jan Steen and Frans Hals.

The Rijksmuseum offers a comprehensive Multimedia Tour, available in nine languages. Various tours will take you through the highlights, the renovated building, and the museum's various sections. You can buy the Multimedia Tour at the multimedia desk (price of €5 is not included in the admission ticket). The Multimedia Tour is also available as a free app, which can be downloaded from the app store at no extra charge.

Several tours can be booked at the Rijksmuseum with different themes in different languages (guided tour price of €5 per person and is not included in the admission ticket).

You will also find the RIJKS®, the Michelin star awarded restaurant, at the museum. Under the leadership of top chef Joris Bijdendijk, the restaurant creates dishes characterized by the Dutch product in its simplicity. Quality and authenticity are translated to the kitchen, the chefs, the interior, and location. The RIJKS® will also invite well-known guest chefs to cook in it's kitchen.

Rijksmuseum

Was not expecting it to be quite so vast! Did not give enough time to see all they had to offer. Artwork is AMAZING and loved all the artifacts as well. Plan minimum 2hours a floor. 3 main floors plus other areas.
