- Cynthia L0 contributionsInteresting info with a passionate guideI am usually not a fan of museums, but our guide Claire W was so passionate about Van Gogh (his life and his works), that it was fascinating to learn about this complicated man and to see his work up so close. We got a LOT more out of the museum by going with Claire than we would have by ourselves or with just an audio tour. Claire was super knowledgeable and was able to answer a variety of questions. She made Van Gogh’s art accessible and interesting.Written 5 October 2024

- 565jeanclaudeh0 contributionsVisiting a time machineI recently took a tour of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and it was an incredible experience. The museum’s collection is vast and beautifully curated, featuring iconic works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Van Gogh. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, offering fascinating insights into the history and context behind each piece. The building itself is stunning, and the layout allows for easy navigation. I especially loved the Dutch Golden Age section, which brought history to life through art. Whether you’re an art lover or just curious, this museum is a must-see when visiting Amsterdam! Highly recommended.Written 3 October 2024

- lauramX9516GE0 contributionsHighly recommend!Martina was amazing for our tour! Extremely knowledgeable with details about the paintings we viewed. And she knew the answer to every question asked by the group participants. This tour only went through the paintings of the 1600s FYI- not sure if I missed that in the tour description. Only issue was our group had problems with headsets going in and out but I still gave five stars because Martina was wonderful and you could y still hear everything. Highly recommend!Written 3 October 2024

5. Manuel did a great job. Very informative and entertaining. I would highly recommend requesting Manuel for your tour if at all possible. If you’re booking in advance, I’d recommend Ann Frank museum tickets (purchased separately from web) approx 2.5 hours after your walking tour starts.

a great walking trip around amsterdam , with loads of knowledgeable facts about the city and it’s past our tour guide kiran was great taking our tour …. the tour finished at anne frank house ,, best to book tickets for the house weeks in advance as they sell out days/weeks before …. we booked our ticket time 2 hours after our walking tour finished , which allowed us to have lunch and then enter anne frank house ( €16 per ticket bought online ) 3 weeks prior to our arrival ,,,, it was great to do the house tour after the walking tour as everything we had seen/learnt was still fresh in the mind ….. highly recommend this walking tour , and highly recommend booking the anne frank house tour tickets to see inside the house after this tour is complete

Our Guide was excellent, Peter was articulate and very knowledgeable.
It is a small group walking tour and that is exactly what you get.
It feels very personal ,Peter read a passage from the Diary and you could feel it was personal to Peter.
On the tour he will take you through the complete story of the Jewish Community in the Netherlands during the War.
I would recommend this to everyone, 2 hours that you will be educated for a small amount of money.

On this cold, rainy day in February we had Manuel guide us through the streets of Amsterdam and the historic Jewish quarter. He was personable, knowledgeable and patient with our questions. He made a difficult topic engaging and took us to places we wouldn’t have known to visit.

Manuel thank you so much for a fantastic experience!! Our tour was greeted promptly in front if the Jewish Historical museum and walked through the Jewish quartet with interesting and illustrative stories about Jewish life in Amsterdam before and during WWII. I have studied this period and read extensively but Manuel provided insights that were new to me. I especially appreciated understanding Amsterdam’s perspective of WWII and its attempts to protect and defend their Jews. Thank you to 360 and Manuel for an engaging and memorable experience.

Hi! Thanks for your words! Good to hear you could learn a lot during this tour. We want to give people a good experience especially with a nice tour guide who can describe the history of Jewish people in Amsterdam, Holocaust and some more important details about the Frank’s family. I wish you a pleasant day.

My family of 5 decided to sign up for this tour when we realized that tickets for the Anne Frank Museum were sold out. This tour was by far our favorite in Amsterdam. Our guide, Peter was so captivating and did such a great job at explaining the story of Anne Frank and the experience of Jewish people in Amsterdam during WWII. This tour is a great alternative to the Anne Frank or Holocaust Museum and I highly recommend it. Thank you Peter!

Outstanding guide. He was fun, funny and informative. Weather was cold rain, and he warmed us up with his humor; and then could share seriously his knowledge about very troubling historical events and facts.
Be aware that this trip ends at Anne Frank’s house, but the tour does not include entry to the house.

Excellent tour. Manuel was a fabulous story teller. He made the events of WWII in Amsterdam come alive with real human stories. We picked this tour by accident (looking for the Anne Frank "house" tour) but it was a mistake we were fortunate to make. We have learnt so much about the history and people of Amsterdam and importantly the horrors the Jewish community suffered.
Highly recommend, you will learn something and you will have a greater appreciation for the beautiful city of Amsterdam and it's people.

Manuel was a very entertaining tour guide I was fascinated by the historic sites and his sense of humour throughout the tour! He asks a lot of questions and is really good at explaining the sites we saw like the statue of Anne Frank outside the church and the memorial site at the oldest park in Amsterdam. It was really engaging because when we answer his questions, he gives us fist bumps and says, “ 50 points!” I was very satisfied after the tour even if I have not read Anne Frank’s diary. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of Anne Frank and her family and interested in World War II!

Really enjoyed the walking tour. Clare was our guide and she was very informative and had lots to share with us not just about the topic within the walking tour but was also able to answer any other questions around buildings and sights as we took in the city. We were really lucky with the weather. Clare had an ipad with photos that gave more perspective on some of the topics that were discussed. We got to visit the Holocaust Memorial of names which was quite emotional and also other landmarks like the Homomonument which was also good to see. The tour wrapped up outside of Anne Frank's house - the inside of this was not included but really recommend booking this for after if you can as it was really interesting!

Hi, you said that we end up in Anne Frank House at the end of the tour, and we can choose to wait in line if we want to buy the ticket. Is that possible to queue and buy the ticket on the spot? Because i saw that the tockets are sold out online in April. Thanks!
