About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Passenger7368240 contributionsLook elsewhereMy trip was cancelled the day before because the guide was sick. As I was on a tour the day they contacted me I was unable to coordinate something else. I was then told I could go on another tour but at a higher cost. I declined that offer. The next day, the day of the tour I was contacted and told I could attend the secondary/more expensive tour for the same price. I had just sat down for lunch and they wanted me at the pickup spot in 30 minutes! My advise…use booking.com!Written 29 January 2025
- michaelpW7371EH0 contributionsGreat Experience! Our guide took us around the old town of Lucerne to multiple spots. Great variation of local Swiss wines and Luís had pictures of the wineries to show us. Overall great experience!Written 3 January 2025
- ssautpar0 contributionsExcellent TourLuis and Alexandra were excellent guides. Very fun and informative. Really enjoyed seeing the sites. Also, the Chocolate tasting and Wine and Cheese tasting were great. They even adjusted the tastings for one of us who is Vegan The boat excursion was beautiful in the late afternoon and early evening. Do wish there was a little more historic conversation but it was fineWritten 20 December 2024
- lizc2200 contributionsPerfect wine tastingWe were fortunate to enjoy an unexpectedly private wine tasting with Luis and it was the best of times in beautiful Lucerne. Luis is a friendly and generous soul with an easy manner and keen sense of Swiss wine. We went to three lovely wine bars and enjoyed wonderful food and drink, and even more so, conversation about family, culture, and society. It was a wonderful experience we recommend strongly. Well worth every penny.Written 4 December 2024
- Daydream8277650 contributionsDefinitely Recommend! We enjoyed a very nice walk around the city of Lucerne with Luis! The chocolates we tasted were great and we loved learning more about the family business! Part of the tour included an elevator ride up to the castle which is not something we would have done on our own and the views were incredible! The wine and cheese was also great and we really like tasting different Swiss made foods and drinks! Overall we really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend for anyone else looking to enjoy the beautiful city of Lucerne.Written 2 December 2024
- franciscobY4783TS0 contributionsGreat way to experience Lucerne for the 1st timeIsabella. Our guide was exceptional! Knowledgeable, enthusiastic & warm. Walking was a highlight and so many beautiful buildings.Written 9 November 2024
- lindsaylindsaylinds0 contributionsEnded up with a private tour!Had a nice two hour tour with Isabella! I was the only person in our group, and it felt like I was walking around with a new friend. Isabella shaped the tour on what I was interested in, and we even stopped at a little farm shop to pick up some chocolate. A top moment was going to see the Lion of Lucerne, which was beautiful and moving. Isabella gave me a history of the sculpture and also gave me some space to enjoy the memorial. Isabella knew her history of Lucerne and had great recommendations for after the tour ended. She even helped me look up trains and trams to get to Mt Pilatus when we parted ways. Would recommend for some history and getting the lay of the land in Lucerne!Written 9 November 2024
- 574seang0 contributionsFabulous Lucerne ExperienceFabulous tour and Martina was a wonderful guide. Great mix of food, local sights and culture. Don’t skip the boat ride! Highly recommended.Written 7 November 2024
- E7436ZDjamesl0 contributionsWalking Tour great, boat tour worthlessLuise did a fantastic job on walking tour of Luzern. Unfortunately the boat portion of trip was WORTHLESS as it didn't until dark and there was no information provided about the 1 hour + boat trip and no services available onboard ( no beverages or snack). Bottom line is a total waste of time and a refund for the boat ride be issued. Once again walk tour by Luis was great, boat tour portion worthless.Written 31 October 2024
- 758tishd0 contributionsHighly recommend! Enjoyable excursion.Amazing local history and passion about the area. Lots of beautiful sights and laughs! Time moved quicky-walking tour time flew by. Thank you so much for a memory we wont forgetWritten 27 October 2024
- V5338CUront0 contributionsLuzern with an expert! Our guide, Luis, was excellent! He communicated with us directly the day before to confirm our meet location and he met us exactly on time! Small group of 3 couples; it was sooooo good!! Luzern is a beautiful city, but Luis gave it life with his enthusiasm for its history, his passion and his knowledge; it was great!!Written 24 October 2024
- catawbafriend0 contributionsPrivate tour proves worthwhileLuis was our guide and he was great. First, he contacted us to see if we could meet him earlier because of predicted afternoon rain. We caught an earlier train and started an hour early. He was dead on, as soon as the walking tour ended, the rain started. Luis led us through many of the center city and old town sights and provided an excellent commentary including some history. We pointed out sights, shops, and restaurants to spend more time at after the tour. Luis then gave us tickets for a one hour boat tour on Lake Lucerne which was enjoyable, relaxing, and dry even with the rain. All in all, a superb day.Written 15 October 2024
- u2fan560 contributionsFun time and good way to learn more about LucerneMy wife and I did this tour recently while on vacation in Lucerne. The tour guide Luis was engaging and easy to talk with. We started with chocolate in the train station. Lot of options to try and great way to learn about the company and owners. Then we walked up to the Hotel Chateau Gutsch (well we took the elevator up and down). Nice views from top of hill overlooking city. Weather not ideal this day but that is not tour company's fault. Then you end with cheese and wine. We added on the optional boat tour. Highly recommend taking boat tour. Fun time and good way to spend afternoon in Lucerne.Written 14 October 2024
