    Amazing experience
Luis knows where to go: three special places with very special wines, all from the region. The information Luis shared with us about Switzerland and the culture was very nice and useful.

    Photos with Luis
We did a private photography tour with Luis Medina. I had a new mirrorless Nikon that was stressing me out and Luis was great at helping me remember the basics of Aperture, Speed and ISO. He’s great at helping to frame pictures as well. Enjoyed very much the places we walked and the pictures I got!

Wonderful views of the lake and it’s surroundings
Luis was a personable, knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. This tour takes you to Lucerne’s surroundings and gives you views/photo ops you wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to experience. We saw terrific views of the lake, the Alps, farms and neighborhoods. We even dipped our feet in the lake to test the temperature. The e-bikes were a great way to tour. Highly recommend Luis and this tour to anyone who can ride a bike.

    Yum!
Me and my partner went on this and it ended up just being the 2 of us! We really enjoyed learning about the history of Lucerne from Louis, and we ended up following his suggestions for food later. The cheese and chocolate part was a little funny because we went down to the train station to do it, but everything ended up tasting amazing and we got to try different cheese and chocolate I normally wouldn’t try. It was a little expensive, but we did enjoy our time and it was a lovely few hours!

    Fun afternoon in Lucerne
Luis was a fantastic tour guide. He has a radiant personality that creates an exciting and welcoming atmosphere. The tour was great. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lucerne who has not done much research/planning beforehand- as was our case. This would be a great tour to do on your first day in the city and Luis would be able to give you tailored recommendations to plan the rest of your trip. That being said, if you are already familiar with Laderach chocolates, have visited key sites in the city previous to this tour, this might not be the tour for you. This tour was as described and we received everything listed. I would happily attend another tour with Luis as he is an experienced and exceptional tour guide! Thank you Luis for a fun afternoon!

    Delicious chocolate, wine and cheese!
Luis was a very interesting and personal guide and we really liked this tour. It’s a great half day tour to see the town. The chocolate and cheese were delicious and unique. We enjoyed hearing the history of Lucerne and seeing the beautiful sights. The wine bar at the end was a refreshing treat. We ended up buying a few bottles of a delicious Swiss wine to bring home. Luis, if you read this my husband and I have been looking for that Mustard Toccinesse with horseradish all over Zermatt and we haven’t been able to locate it in the gourmet markets or wine shops. Let us know if you have any tips or links to the product. Thank you!

    Save Your Money and Run
The guide was very nice, but the experience was underwhelming and quite odd and the description is very misrepresented. Not what I expected and for the price, it was flat out robbery. I recommend seeing Lucerne yourself and not wasting your money. You start with tasting chocolate and cheese inside of the Lucerne train station. I was shocked! I didn't travel thousands of miles to see the Lucerne train station. And the cheese tasting was at a grocery store market at their cheese counter. It was unbelievable. Then you start the walk to the Chateau where you awkwardly walk around inside while guests stare at you. The views were nice, but you can do this yourself and enjoy an actual lunch on their terrace. Then we ended at a restaurant. It was one type of cheese with a small pour of wine. It was not in a wine cellar as described. Also the group size was 10 people, not 6. The boat was fine and probably the best part, but you can buy a $29 CHF ticket on your own and go. Very disappointed and makes me not want to trust Trip Advisor or Viator again.

Chocolate tasting was fun and delicious. Same with the cheese tasting. Going up to the castle was great and have a great view of the city.

    Go for a ride!
Luis was a great guide! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I've noticed they, the Swiss, are big on the honor system, and it's quite refreshing. I would certainly do it again.

Time was changed last minute, tour was excellent
We booked for a 9am tour. The night before this tour, we got a message saying the guide for the 9am had something come up, so we would now be touring at 11:10am instead. This completely changed our plans for the rest of the day, so it was pretty frustrating. I was glad I didn’t pay to book something in the afternoon or have to catch a train, etc. However, our tour guide Luis was great! We really enjoyed all of the history and culture we learned about from him, and the places he took us. He had a lot of recommendations for places to eat and drink around the city.

Luis was an excellent guide. He was funny and knowledgeable. The small group size was perfect for making new friends.
Couldn’t have been better! Well worth the cost. Luis also gave great recommendations for dinner, drinks and other activities.

I am so glad I booked this tour. I was the only person who booked for my time slot, so it ended up being an impromptu private tour, which was great. Laslo, my guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and answered all of my questions. We went to the city wall and saw spectacular views, as well as the city farm, where we saw a few animals. I saw sites on this tour that would not have been on my radar if I did not have a guide—which I appreciated. I highly recommend to anyone who has a few hours in Lucerne.

We only had a day in Lucerne and, having never been there, we wanted a tour that gave us a snap shot of the city.
Luis was our tour guide and met us on time at the appointed place - the monument outside of the train station. He had previously sent me a photo of the spot and the water cruise tickets.
We immediately got underway and Luis did a great job. He brought an iPad loaded with historical photos and videos and played them at appropriate times.
Typically these tours are like drinking out of a fire hose, but he took his time and showed us relevant historical photos and videos and that made things more interesting and less exhausting.
We walked through the covered bridges, over to the old town, up to the fort around the area and back, a full two hours.
He showed us how to get to the boat (easy walk), which we then got on within around 15 minutes. The boat tour was fun and we had an included audio tour, though it was a bit hard to hear with all the engine and deck noises. But it was great to just sit and watch the water and listen to the tour. The boat has a bar and restrooms, which were handy.
In summary, it was a great overview of part of the city with a fun boat ride. I'd definitely recommend it if you want a fun day in Lucerne.
