      Winter Wonderland
Switzerland visit 🇨🇭 was a dream come true, our first Stop was Luzern, a well-preserved old town, with medieval architecture and the Lake Luzern a cobalt blue lake surrounded by snow-capped Alps. We stayed at a beautiful Inn called Swiss Dewa which was just opposite the Lake Luzern and near the Railway station. The view of the lake was just marvelous. We had planned a trip to Grindelwald a Glacier village at the Switzerland’s Bernese Alps, which is a popular gateway for the Jungfrau Region situated at the Peak of Europe, with skiing in winter and hiking in summer. It's also a base for mountain-climbing ascents up the iconic north face of Eiger Mountain. We had a choice on reaching the Grindelwald station to either stay back and sight see the Grindelwald village or go up to the Juangfraujoch the Peak of Europe. We took a train to the Juangfrau and from there by gondola to the Juangfraujoch the Peak of Europe marveling at the beautiful panoramic view of the Swiss Alps with the scattered of snow clad roofs and holiday makers out in the sun skiing or sledgeing in the snow. The 2nd day we decided to stop at the Grindelwald village for Sightseeing as this place offers a very wide variety of activities like a 3 D experience of Bunjee jumping wch was a thrill a minute experience of experiencing gliding across the Swiss Alps while actually only sitting on a seat with a 3 D glasses. We also trekked to the Grindelwald first on an iron bridge to the see and take pictures of the surrounding peaks and marvel at the panoramic views and also see the world famous Toblerone mountain, which was just Epic. There was a stop in between traveling by bus to Grindelwald , a beautiful valley called Interlaken is known as the adventure capital of Switzerland. Activities like bungee jumping, canyoning, and skydiving attract thrill-seekers from all over the world. We had a marvelous time amidst the Swiss Alps, like a Dream. SWITZERLAND is a must visit for Holiday revelers and adventure seekers.

      Great experience at Jungfraujoh
Amazing views, very well organised and the guide Raimundo was great. Just one little thing : the time was to short at the top of Jungfraujoh - 2 hours for adapting to the height, eating and drinking and seeing everything is too short (just the tour to see everything lasts 1,5 hour)

A great intro to the area - leaves you planning your next trip.
The tour was a good introduction to the area. Coach was warm and comfortable and the driver and guide were friendly. Perhaps would have been helpful to give some suggestions about the time spent in Grindelwald.

Grindelwald village is 1,034 m (3,392 ft) above sea level. Mentioned for the first time in 1146, it has become an important tourist destination of both Switzerland and the Alps since the golden age of alpinism in the 19th century. It is overlooked by a section of the Bernese Alps from the Wetterhorn to the Eiger, which creates a natural barrier. Together with the adjacent valley of Lauterbrunnen, the valley of Grindelwald forms part of the Jungfrau Region of the Bernese Oberland, between Interlaken and the main crest of the Bernese Alps. Similarly to Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald is connected to Interlaken by the Bernese Oberland Railway and is the start of the Wengernalp Railway, leading to Kleine Scheidegg. The latter resort is the start of the Jungfrau Railway, the highest railway in Europe and a gateway to the Jungfrau-Aletsch protected area.

      Beautiful Countryside & Medieval Towns
You can't visit Switzerland without seeing the countryside. This tour takes you to Rapperswil, Werdenburg, and Basis, Letchenstein. Hand was a wonderful tour guide full of useful information. Sit back and enjoy the scenery as someone else drives you places?

A truly amazing day tour with Hans and Carsten
This tour was the most educational and definitely one of the best I've been on with a trip advisor booking. The group was small so we were able to meet and talk with the other people in the group. The tour bus was very comfortable, and the driver, Carsten, was such a smooth driver that I did not have to take my motion sickness pill. As for our guide, Hans, he was an expert of the areas we visited, sharing all the history and details with the group. Hans used the speaker system while narrating, so it was very clear and audible throughout the tour. The information that Hans provided to inform us of the history and background of the places we visited was a basic expectation of a great tour, and Hans met every aspect of my expectations. Hans was definitely an experienced professional at guiding tourists like us. Many thanks and appreciation for a job well done. I would definitely book another tour with Grayline Zurich.

      Cancelled
My tour was booked months in advance, was canceled the evening before departure. It was not the cancellation, but the lateness of the cancellation. This was my last tour booked, and the other tours they offered, I had done. I asked for a refund, and it was given promptly. All tours cancelled by operator, should be at least 24hrs in advance, the same amount of time I am required to give the operator.

      Listen to the instructions
Fantastic tour. It takes a lot of tour organizational skills to keep everyone on a tight time schedule. There are trains to board that can’t be missed. Our tour guide “Kid” was amazing. Kid kept us moving, on schedule, and still made sure each of us had the best pictures. Dress in layers, listen for the instructions given, and hydrate plenty due to the altitude. Bring gloves, sun glasses, chapstick, water, and shoes for ice and snow. Last, get a good nights rest, and show up early to the checkin booth. There is a free restroom next door to the checkin booth, and plz use before you board the bus. The bus leaves right on time, as there are trains to catch. This is a must adventure, recommend.

      Top Of Europe
This was hands down the most amazing trip I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide Kid, Grey Line tours, was the best!! He is so fun and made sure we had the best time. He also helped us make the most out of our experience by taking all the pictures and videos of us individually and with whoever you were with!! The man needs a raise!! The weather was perfect and our group was great. If you’re on the bus and you’re making the stop in interlaken or Grindelwald, and not going to the top of Europe, you will regret it! Upgrade your trip, go to the very top and soak In all the views! It’s even beautiful on the way down!! Thank you Kid for an amazing day! You’re the best! (We visited on Nov 10 2024..) Travis & Erica!

Tour was great and worth the price of admission as it was organized and everything flowed smoothly. Weather was great all day and had great views at the top of the mountain with clear, sunny skies. Kid, our guide, was good at keeping the group organized and ensuring that we were informed and on time all the way through the trip. He was also good at notifying the group of photo opportunities and ensuring we got pics at popular lookouts. The final bus ride home was extremely long due to holiday traffic, but we would have encountered that on our own regardless.

What a fantastic trip, I am glad that I read the reviews frist, as I was forewarned about Kid. A fantastic experienced tour guide, he knows all of the places to get the best photos and videos, he gets you where you need to go in double time so you don't spend hours queuing, thus more time enjoying the experience, but he is a force of nature, that some people did struggle with. be warned, he is a diva who is an expert at hearding cats, he takes no prisoners, but gets results. On the other hand he noticed that a member of our party had an ankle injury and was struggling to keep up, as such he made a point of holding her hand and kept checking that she was ok, so that she didn't get left behind.

We went to some fantastic, beutiful places and Jungfraujoch is breathtaking, well worth it, and thanks to kid, we have some amazing photos to look back on.

Joining the crowd that rates this a 5, it really is the trip of a lifetime. The scenery that changes, the views, the train rides, the cable car and of course the Top of Europe experience. You really do notice the thin air. Our tour leader for the day Kid was just OTT crazy amazing and took some superb photos of us enjoying the trip and got us navigated quickly through lines etc. A must do.

There was an Asian tour guide who was absolutely the rudest person I have ever seen taking people on this tour. He is posted in several photos on this trip advisor post, so I will not post another one. He yelled extremely loud at a lady who sat on the train instead of just kindly requesting her to move. I have never been so embarrassed to be with a tour guide like this. I really wanted to quit the tour at this moment. No one should act like this, and especially not when you are leading a group of people. It is so simple to politely ask people to move and if they don't, it's the train’s workers who are responsible to request it. Yelling is not acceptable.
I would save the money and do the train ride yourself! It will be much more enjoyable. I found him to be quite obnoxious after this whole incident. Go to the train station and buy your ticket there instead.

Tour guide Raymond was great! Multilingual and coordinated the trip so that everything ran smoothly, as it does involve multiple transfers (bus, trains, cable cars). He was knowledgeable about each of the stops. Extended our stay at the top b/c it was one of those gorgeous days that had great visibility. Also helped us take some pictures to remember the trip by. Check the weather before you book!

This is a pricey excursion but we were determined to get to the top of Europe. Mother Nature had other ideas and let her skies open up and dump rain. So views at the top were non-existent and there were high winds as well. Still, if this happens to you, don't let it spoil anything. The train ride through Lauterbrunnen/Grindlewald was lovely, and we were able to have a very nice lunch in the Crystal Restaurant (go for the lobster soup). The ice sculptures are wonderful to see as well.

This trip was everything we hoped it would be!!! Stunning views, perfect amount of time, and an experience we will never forget! The views from the bus and trains were spectacular, and the mountain itself was breathtaking!

Our guide was Kid and he was the life of the party! He had to keep the group on pace and in-line and he did that with constant humor! I would highly recommend this!

Notes: bring a battery pack for the phones, there are no charging ports on the bus. Dress in layers, the bus was warm and the excursion outside on the mountaintop (optional) was freezing.

Our guide was absolutely amazing. He was so considerate of everyone and communicated with clear directions that made each step of the trip easy and fun! We enjoyed the bus, trains, and gondola rides, and the activities at the top of the mountain were outstanding. I would tell everyone to invest in this trip! It was the highlight of our vacation in Switzerland.

This was hands down one of THE BEST guided tours we have ever take. Our guide, Kid, knew the route up the mountain like the back of his hand and knew every location to take the perfect photos. Seriously, my pictures all look like post cards. Not to mention the incredible scenery we witnessed from the bus, numerous trains and the cable car ride down the side of the mountain. Kid also made sure we slowly acclimated to the change in altitude and gave us tips to help us deal with the lack of oxygen when we made it up to the top (12,000 feet above sea level!) He took professional quality photos with a nice camera, which we were sure you’d have to pay for later like other tour we’ve been on, but when we got back to the bus he uploaded them to a laptop then Airdropped them to our phones - free of charge. Kid made this experience so special for us- I would not want to do this tour without him there as our guide. 10/10 a must do when in Switzerland.

One of the most breathtaking experience we have had in our lifetimes! This would not been possible without our excellent guide, Raymond, and our bus driver Mark.

The trip is action packed, but not rushed. Plenty of time was given for each stop. Raymond's experience and description of each attraction has made us truly appreciate the majestic bounty of nature, and the history of the attractions.

We had a different kind of experience on Jungfraujoch - it was snowing (soft and supple!) so the sights at the top were clouded over BUT this did not dampen our experience! Recommendation of photo spots from Raymond has also been the icing on the cake for us.

We will definitely come back! A must visit; and you would not have been to Switzerland without visiting this. Highly recommended tour!
