Overview
Florence’s Uffizi Gallery boasts more than 50 room filled with Renaissance masterpieces, so seeing the best of the gallery can be a daunting task. Make sure you tick off all of the artistic highlights on a guided tour that provides little-known details integral to understanding world-renowned works by Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Booking in advance mean you’ll avoid long lines often in excess of three hours and provided headsets ensure you’ll hear your guide's commentary clearly.
What to Expect

Your tour begins outside of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, where you’ll greet your guide and enter the museum via a door reserved especially for groups. Once inside, you’ll make a beeline for significant Renaissance works by the likes of Botticelli, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.

Through a provided headset, you’ll listen to commentary that brings the paintings to life by explaining important historical and cultural information. See Botticelli's Birth of Venus and Primavera, plus Michelangelo’s Tondo Doni and Caravaggio’s Medusa.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be free to continue exploring independently.

A Great Guided Tour with Irina

Irina introduced us to Uffizi Gallery with a simple and interesting history of Medici family and Florence history together with some important paintings inside the gallery. It was a great experience and I highly recommend her.

Uffizi Tour with Irina

My friend and I had limited time and were fortunate to take Irina’s tour. Her wealth of knowledge is amazing and she was able to navigate the Sunday crowds beautifully. Thoroughly recommend Irina’s personable, erudite tour.

We met in front of the gallery about 10 mins before the tour was scheduled to start. The group gathered according to your time slot and language. Look for the employees in white polos if you have any questions.

Choice of morning or afternoon, about 2-3 hours, depends which tour company you select and the name of the one we used escapes me at the moment, but it’s on trip advisor
