Get ready to spend an unfogettable day in this stunning corner of the Italian Riviera where lie the Cinque Terre, the five villages famous for its candy-colored houses, cristalline seaside, rocky coasts with caves, beaches, hiking paths and breathtaking views. Moreover you'll get the chance to visit Portovenere a hidden gem that dominates the Gulf of the Poets. 

Depart early in the morning from Florence and reach with our comfortable bus the Ligurian riviera. First you'll have some free time to visit  Manarola a village surrounded by terraced hills, full of vineyards used for the production of its famous white wine: Sciacchetrà. Here, you can take perfect postcard-photos from the rocky harbor that will give you fantastic panoramic views. 

Then your trip continues direction Vernazza one of the most colorful and prettiest villagges where in the square that overlooks the seaside you can admire the unique Saint Margharet church and the remains of a Medieval castle that if you wish you can climb it. From the top, you'll certainly fall in love with its stunning views all over the Gulf. 

After you'll head into Monterosso the biggest village of Cinque Terre which is divided in two parts: the old and the new side. Upon arrival those of you who ave chosen to add the lunch option will taste a typical Ligurian lunch (detailed menu can be found below) and after can enjoy some free time to visit the historical center of Monterosso with narrow roads and local artisanal shop or you con spend some time at the beach and take a swim in this cristalline seaside. 

 Later in the afternoon  with a stunning boat ride you'll reach Portovenere an elegant destination where nature and human architecture are perfectly balanced. With the boat ride you'll see all the five villages of Cinque Terre from a seaside perspective. After the free time in Portovenere you'll enjoy another boat ride to La Spezia, the main city of this paradise corne, where the bus will be waiting for you and you'll start the ride back to Florence where the tour will end.

Tour was awful. Basically, you get two guides to herd the 40 people in your group. The day was supposed to start at 7, but we left late. Also, the meeting point is almost a mile from Santa Maria novella station, which is odd considering...More

Stunning but to many tourists (including me)

We went by train but to see this area in its full glory I would recommend booking in advance and going by boat. Great area for long distance walking out of season.
