- 427kaylaw0 contributionsLoved ItHad a great time! The wineries visited are beautiful, and all the products being sold are reasonable prices. The wineries weren’t pushy about buying and they all are organic, family-owned small businesses. Our group was fairly small too, under 20 people. Our guide was Susi and our driver was Andreas (unsure if this is how you spell his name but I can’t read his name on the card I have). They both were wonderful!Written 14 October 2024
- Y8020ZJmichellef0 contributionsGreat tour!Pino was our driver, got us there and back safely,Lorenzo was our amazing tour guide for the day. Siena was first, plenty of time to wander around, then onto lunch at a lovely agriturismo,Mensanello. We checked out wine cellars and olive oil making. 4 different types of wine tasting with a most delicious lunch, then onto San Gimignano. Beautiful sights everywhere, history and story telling by Lorenzo, made for the best day ever! Highly recommend this tour. 10/10Written 14 October 2024
- A6188JIjanets0 contributionsExcellent Day in Siena and San GimignanoLorenzo (tour guide) was fantastic—very knowledgeable! The locations were beautiful and the Mensanello Winery and Olive Mill served great wine and food. Patrick the driver was great getting us in and out of very crowded spaces at all locations and got us safely back to Florence. Highly recommend this team!Written 14 October 2024
- kellye8130 contributionsFantastic cultural experience!Fantastic experience in Florence! It’s so much more than a wine tasting - you will learn about the different varietals of the region and Italian culture and history. If you are lucky enough to get Leo as your guide, you will laugh the entire time. We visited Riseccoli, Casa Emma, and Poggio Torselli. Poggio was our favorite and shipping wine home to the US was so easy. Highly recommended!Written 14 October 2024
- victoriasG6542TJ0 contributions5 starViews were incredible! Vineyards were well chosen and varied. Extremely positive experience. Our driver was excellent having navigated narrow roads and oncoming vehicles; he was unflappable. Also, entertained us with great music. Our tour guide did a fabulous job shouting out famous places, indigenous trees, and hints of what we were about to experience. On the downside, only one toilet at vineyards per 24 people. Most difficult was last vineyard, after we had been tasting wine all day.Written 14 October 2024

- 709stephenh0 contributionsA very sweet taste of Tuscany.A well constructed day tour from Florence. Siena and San Gimignano are both fascinating towns to visit. Our guide, Lorenzo, was very good. He was able to provide very informative commentary, add some humour and keep us to schedule. Well done Lorenzo. The lunch was at a charming boutique winery and the wines were enjoyed by all. We had this venue to ourselves which was a nice feature. The only issue which could be improved was the space in the bus. A very nice Mercedes bus but too many seats meant it was very cramped. This was OK for a relatively short trip like this one. Overall a great tour if you are looking for a taste of Tuscany.Written 12 October 2024
- Traci B0 contributionsOur honeymoonOur experience exceeded all expectations. Leo was a phenomenal driver, guide and local expert on all things Florence, Italy AND WINE! Each winery was incredible. Tour description is very accurate, vineyards are receiving guests by biggerish groups so it doesn’t feel exclusive but easy to chat with others if you feel like it. Wine is good and Tuscany is beautiful. The setup is a bit commercial, you don’t really connect with owners…The highlight of the trip was Eva, a ray of Sunshine very knowledgeable of the area and always entertaining us with an interesting story. She also gave a Florence city tour with stories about many topics. The price is very affordable for a somewhat generic activity which would warrant a 4 but Eva tips the scale to 5!

I would thoroughly recommend this tour! Although at first finding the departure point seemed daunting, but we followed the directions to the letter (even though it seems like you have gone wrong walking through the alley at the help sign and finding yourself in a secluded area at the back of the station) just keep following the path round.
Mara the tour host was very informative and gave us a full comentary on the 45 min drive to the first vineyard pointing out lots of interesting facts along the way. Ricardo was a great driver!
At the first vineyard we were shown the acres of vineyards from the gorgeous vantage point on the patio and explanation of how the vines are tended, we then went inside for the tasting, the somelier was very knowledgable and we had bread and cheese with olive oil and balsamic and 4 glasses of wine to taste ....... we then had some minutes outside to take photos of the stunning countryside.
on to vineyard number 2 - only a few minutes away, but a completely different presentation, again with an excellent somelier who really knew all about Chianti. This time we went to the cellars and the barrel room before the tastings. Again 4 glasses of wine (Not a tasting a full measure glass of amazing wine! ) this was accompanied by bruschetta, bread, 2 different regional chesses and 2 different local salami - absolutely delicous - we all commented how it was more food than we were expecting and enough to feel like you had had lunch! all in all it was a great morning and the whole team that provided this experience deserve credit.

The meeting point was cleverly chosen outside the busy center of Florence. It was a bit tricky to recognize the hosts because they did not carry the red signs/flags as indicated in the description, but we quickly found them. The only major flaw with the tour was that we were promised a small group, as mentioned not only in the the title of the booking but also explicitly in the description (max 16 p.). However, our group consisted of 30 people, almost double what was promised, making it much less personal, with the Prestige rent tour guide as well as with the guides of the two wineries. The two wineries that we visited were both exceptionally beautiful, in terms of location, explanations and serving delicious wines with the stories around them. Still, the two were very different, each adding their own things to make it a perfect afternoon. The foods served alongside were delicious as well. Getting a look in the wine cellars of the second winery was especially wonderful.

Dear Christian S, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are happy you appreciated the wineries visited on our Small-Group Wine Tasting Experience in the Tuscan Countryside. Happy you enjoyed the wines and local appetizers provided.
Regarding the group size, as you can read in the tour description our tours run with 25 people. To be honest, your group was 26 people because a family of 3 people booked the wrong date and we allowed them to join the tour so they wouldn’t waste their money. We have minibusses for our small group tours, so it would be impossible to make a group of 30 people. Thank you again for sharing your experience, hope to have you back with us! Kindest wishes from Prestige Rent staff

AMAZING experience! The driver/tour guide are literally personal photographers, willing to take so many photos with different angles at every stop. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that at both wineries they had gluten free options for my husband as well. We were able to ship wine from both wineries back home to the U.S. The shipping cost is 60-100 euros depending on how much wine you get. It came out to be about $30 a bottle, which I feel is more than reasonable for amazing Italian wine. If you’re wanting a Tuscan winery experience this is it, cannot say enough good things! Probably the favorite tour of our whole Italy trip!

This was a great tour. Our driver was very nice and very informative (expert level). The mini bus was nice and had WiFi. I'm not sure if they go to the same vineyards on each trip. If they do the first one was great but the 2nd one was off the charts. Incredible views and grounds. Very good meat and cheese (large portion) and amazing wine. I rarely buy wine on a tour but I had 6 bottles shipped back to the states. We took the morning tour (afternoon was sold out) and it was a great way to start the day and still be back in Florence by 2:00

I highly recommend this tour, after a little bit of an anxious start where we thought we might be able to find the pick up point we headed to The Chianti region. The guide was knowledgeable & shared loads of interesting information about the sights we passed in Florence on the way. We visited 2 lovely wineries and tasted 6 different wines, the servings were generous too. There was some traditional Italian meat, bread & cheese on offer too, enough to keep us going until we returned to the city for lunch. This tour was one of the highlights of my stay in Florence.

Amazing time on this wine tour of Tuscany. We had trouble booking online and so called the contact number provided and somebody WhatsApp’d us immediately so that we could make our booking. Our guide was so friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of interesting information about the wine in the region. The wineries themselves were delightful. Tasted a good selection of wine and ate a wonderful selection of breads, cold meats and cheeses all with olive oil and balsamic. Highly recommended.

This was a great wine tour to learn and taste several Italian Chianti wines! Definitely go with the small group tasting, which is ~25 people, but it was actually a great size group to meet other people. I’m usually not one to chit chat with others as I’m a shy introvert, but I thought meeting others during our wine tasting was a lot of fun! The tour starts in town and a nice tour bus with A/C will drive you up to the countryside which is about ~45 mins. We were taken to 2 different locations with breath taking views of the winery. The first stop, we were able to take pictures and then we were taken into a dining area where we were grouped together for the tasting. We tasted 3 different wines and were served cheese and bread with their homemade olive oil with truffle and a delicious balsamic. The wines were great and they are heavy pours!! Usually at tastings it is a 1 oz pour, but these were quite generous. The second stop was a beautiful vineyard and again brought into a dining area and grouped at a table with others. We had another 3 wines to taste and a charcuterie platter. It was fun getting to know the other visitors and tasting the wine. They gave us a quick tour of the winery where they age the wine in clay pots. This was the ~4.5 hour tour which i was debating whether i should do the 11 hour tour. The 4.5 hour tour was plenty of time!! After 6 chubby glasses of wine, i was done and slept the whole way down on the bus ride home! I guess I didn’t have to drink the entire glass of wine, but hey…it was there in front of me so why not drink the yummy delicious glass of wine!! For $96 / person, this was a great value and highly recommend to get away from the busy town in florence to the peaceful country side!

Raffaele is a wonderful guide, genuinely careful to making the most out of the few hours you'll spend with him and driver Antonio in the Tuscan countryside. Many interesting pieces of information on the 45 min trip to the 2 wineries through gorgeous vineyards, olive and cypress groves. We had a total of 8 glasses of wine, paired extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and bread, as well as local specialties (pecorino cheese, olive spread, prosciutto...). The locations were absolutely beautiful, two specialists greeted us and introduced us to the wines in the two different wineries. Great for rookies as well, you'll leave feeling like you know everything about Chianti Classico wines. Highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a fun and peaceful way to discover Tuscany in one afternoon!

Leo was an incredible guide and bus driver! He told us all about Florence and Chianti wine on the way there ! He was very funny and he really set the mood for the tour! Not to mention the man serenades you with songs while you finish up the wine tastings ! Both wineries were amazing! Beautiful properties great wine! We learned so much. 4 hours is just enough time. We are a younger couple and we didn’t want to be tied down to a 7-10 hour day like the other wine tours offered. It was the perfect amount of time!

Hey, we are heading over in late July and really fancy the tour. Is the selection of wines all red or is there a white/rose option to try. The other half doesn't drink red so want her to have a choice as well
