Overview
The UNESCO-listed landscapes of the Cinque Terre National Park are a must-see site. Visit four of the five Cinque Terre fishing towns on a stress-free day trip from Florence, an easy way to eliminate the hassle of renting a car or dealing with public transport. Travel between Riomaggiore, Manarola, Monterosso, and Vernazza by coach bus, boat, and train, and let a guide bring the history of each village to life.
What to Expect

After greeting your guide in central Florence, board an air-conditioned coach destined for the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its colorful seaside towns.

The first stop is Riomaggiore, replete with pastel-colored buildings and cobbled streets that are best revealed on a walking tour. Then, continue to Manarola to stroll around the harbor and snap photographs of the houses that cling to the cliffs.

Travel to Monterosso by boat where, if you’ve upgraded to include lunch, you can enjoy seafood and pasta accompanied by wine at a local restaurant. Opt to sunbathe and swim at a nearby beach before you continue to Vernazza, known for its olive-oil production.

Your guided tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point in Florence.

Waste of money

Went on the tour today and was not pleased. Booked a small semi private tour, the group was massive! Double decker bus filled to the brim and only two tour guides that hardly spoke English. For some reason we were running late. The 1st place...More

Rushed, large group, poor English, forgot to pick us up!

We took this trip today, arriving at the meeting point to find a very large group. Full double decker bus size. Upon leaving (late), we realized the English speaking guide does not speak fluent English. Travel time to Cinque Terre included very little facts or...More

Could be better!

The organisation was not as good as expected. For people travelling to a city for the first time, there is a need for clear sign-posting to the meeting place. This was not the case. Considering the tour was starting 7.00am, It took us a while...More

Dear Farah, thank you very much for taking the time to share your commentary. Unfortunately local authorities do not allow us to put signs outside SMN Train Station. Anyhow, our staff members have extremely visible pink jackets and our meeting spot is widely described both...More

Too many people. Would not recommend this one.

So we didn’t actually go. I paid for us to have the experience with lunch. However, when we arrived at the meeting location we quickly decided not to waste a precious day in Florence on a JAM PACKED bus with way too many people for...More

Dear Valerie, thank you for sharing your feedback. However, you have not even joined our Cinque Terre tour so in my opinion your commentary is irrelevant and, what is more, misleading. If you always participate in small group or private excursions, why didn't you book...More

Not up to expectations

We booked this tour after reading reviews about it . Although two of the four villages which we visited were very nice, I can't say that it justified the 13 hours trip. The guide was there to accompany the group from one place to another...More
