Cannoli Making Class
From US$ 40.74
Overview
Finding the best cannoli bakeries—pasticcerie—in Taormina can be a fun challenge, but it can also turn into fruitless trips between neighborhoods. With this tour, take the guesswork out and let a chef help you prepare cannoli from scratch, using traditional recipes starting with the crusty shell and ending with sweet ricotta cream. When you’re done, taste your creations and receive a “cannoli expert” certificate.
What to Expect
Meeting point: Porta Messina, Taormina. The cooking class will start at the restaurant Porta Messina, where Our chef will teach you how to prepare a crusty shell, used to cover Cannoli, typical Sicilian Sweet. You will knead with your hands and fry the dough into the peculiar shape, getting to know secrets of the traditional recipe. You will also see how the cream is prepared to fill up Cannoli’s shell, starting from the traditional Ricotta Sweet up to the custard. At the end of the cooking class you will taste the Cannoli prepared with your hands! Certificate is also included

Giovanni was a great instructor in making the cannolo. I was the only one that day so I had the experience of doing it all with him guiding me along the way. So much fun to get hands "dirty" and make a load of deliciousness....More

The atmosphere and vibe here is fun, all the staff are like one big family. They spoke English well and the chefs know what they are doing. Truly the best place in Taourmina. Perfect Food, Perfect Place. One of the best experiences you can get.
