Highly recommend this enjoyable 3-hour tour for some yummy street food and wide-ranging information about Palermo and Italy in general. Though we were hit with rain early, our guide Fabrizio was able to find some dry spots and the tour continued without missing more than a beat. It's not all about the food. We stopped at quite a few historic sites and cultural ones and learned a bit about what sets the people of Palermo apart (even from some other Sicilians). Fabrizio is very open to questions and keeps the groups relatively small for a better experience. He even impressed two locals who were sitting near us and listening to his comments on early Palermo history. I'd recommend doing this on your first morning in town to help you get quickly acquainted with the city's streets and places to visit later, like the markets. We bought a few items like dried tomatoes and other preserved foods but asked the guide first if the prices were reasonable by local standards.

The tour was the perfect help in discovering Palermo - the historic city, its monuments, the inhabitants with their daily life, with their habits. During the tour, Fabrizio revealed many interesting stories about the visited places - the ghost of Teatro Massimo, la meridiana in the Cathedral, life of Santa Rosalia, Beati Paoli, Trinacria symbol of Sicily etc. The Capo market is a very picturesque place and the selected street food that we tested gave a good representation of the Sicilian gastronomy. Fabrizio was an incredible guide, able to captivate all the visitors in the group. He recommended other places worth to visit in Palermo and helped us ( me, included ) , as a friend , in logistic issues. Our tour took place in a rainy, windy day, but it remains for me the best memory of Palermo,

If you are hoping for an experience that is a laugh a minute , choose a different tour. Fabrizio is Sicilian and very proud of the city. You will learn, during the 3 hours, a huge amount about Palermo, it’s history, culture and, of course, it’s food. His tour holds your interest throughout , it’s humorous and the food is excitingly different. Your 3 hours will pass unbelievably fast. Enjoy!

This tour is fantastic! Fabrizio, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and humorous. He even gave us recommendations for where to eat later on and told us about events happening in the area during our stay. The experience is well worth the cost and I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Palermo. Definitely one of the best parts of our trip!

If you are going to Palermo, a food tour with Fabrizio should be the first thing on your list! He will show you the important parts of the city, tell you about the history, and share with you classic Sicilian food. We booked this trip on our first day, which meant we knew what we wanted to order during the rest of the trip. Fabrizio is so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He made it fun for the kids and was very thoughtful when the weather wasn’t perfect. He even helped me push a stroller when he thought it might be challenging. He was very nice and truly does his best to make it a positive experience. We couldn’t be happier with the tour. Thanks Fabrizio!

Excellent friendly and knowledgeable guide, with a great tour and great food tasting experience. The guide will even pre-arrange gluten free Sicilian street food to taste if you book specially, informing them on this in advance (best to book this directly with them rather than on trip advisor), and the gluten free options (for coeliacs) were really tasty and there is widespread understanding about gluten free food in Palermo/Sicily. This tour was a great way to see the city - would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting

Book this tour if you can! Absolutely wonderful walking and street food walking tour of the fascinating city of Palermo. This was the first activity we did and I’m so glad we started our city break with this experience. Our guide Fabrizio gave us so much insight into the history and culture of the city that we otherwise wouldn’t have learned on our own. He was funny, charming and as a true local and was incredibly knowledgeable and also gave great advice on what else to see and where to eat on the rest of our visit. Don’t hesitate to book this experience if there are spots available.

Fabrizio expertly guided our group of five though some of the best known sites of the historical center of Palermo. He was interesting, fun and knowledgeable, and also made good choices for where to stop for street food, providing great explanations all along. He also quickly responded to a question I sent him that I had about the city that only occurred to me a day or so after the tour was over. Highly recommended!

We did the Tour with Fabrizio and it was amazing because he put so much effort in it, we payed for a 3 hour tour, in the end it even took a little bit longer because Fabrizio wanted us to miss nothing out. We were taught about the history and the culture of Sicily and explored the center of the city.
We got to taste caponata, sfincione, panelle, crocche, arancina and cannoli at Mercato Capo - Everything was traditional sicilian and veeeery good.
I really recommend it!
