Overview

The food & wine tour that we propose will be conducted by a gourmet journalist and kitchen enthusiast. Writer for several magazines in the sector, food critic for the global movement, Slow Food Sicily, Damiano is a special person, everyone respects him and loves him for his affable character that manages to put anyone at ease. During the hours you spend together you will be advised if you also want to buy the best gastronomic products in the city but not only. You will start the tour from the Ortigia market, where Damiano's wife, Alessia has grown, because her family has managed a fish market for many generations and she herself was a fishmonger. Now the couple has been devoting themselves to culinary experiences in Sicily for many years, organizing typical Sicilian cooking lessons, street food tours and many other experiences, putting in place all their knowledge of the Sicilian territory. So with us you will have fun !!!

The food and wine tour will begin in the morning sections from the Ortigia street market. Then it will continue through the central streets of the wonderful island of Ortigia up to Piazza Duomo. During the summer afternoons instead the tour will undergo changes to be able to visit the seafront cafes
