      Truly outstanding
Wow! What an amazing underground tour! Absolute highlight of our time in Cagliari. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and so passionate about his city. As a family with a 16 year old and 7 year he captured their minds too. We learnt so much and so glad we chose this tour. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour and company it's a must if you're visiting Cagliari. Thank you so much Sardinia Magic Experience!

A Stifling Experience: Overcrowded and Underwhelming
The Underground Cagliari tour was just "okay" for me. The biggest issue was the overcrowding; there were simply too many people, making it difficult to breathe and quite uncomfortable. I found it challenging to hear the tour guide for much of the tour due to the crowd. Cutting down the number of tourists significantly would have made the experience better. I highly advise against going in the summer—the heat and stuffiness were almost unbearable. Additionally, the tour felt a bit dull, and the guides' English wasn't very strong, which added to the overall lackluster experience. I wouldn’t recommend this tour during peak tourist seasons due to the heat and crowding. However, it might be more enjoyable with fewer participants and cooler weather.

      Panoramic and Old Cagliari tour
The tour was private. Francesca was a terrific, knowledgeable tour guide taking us to numerous locations in the city and outskirts.

      Fun tour, great tour guide
This was a great tour. I would recommend for a nice intro to Cagliari and Sardinia history. Make sure you wear good walking shoes as it involves a fair amount of walking to the three sites around the city, each underground of course. Our guide spoke great English and incorporated history with each site.

Fascinating, well-paced, unusual city sightseeing tour!
Extremely informative and friendly guide Sylvia had us all entranced with the history of the city, starting in the 20th century in a candle lit tunnel complex and then going back to pre and early Christian times at Crypta di Santa Restituta and finishing at Area Archeologica di Sant'Eulalia with many fascinating excavated Roman artifacts from 1st and 2nd centuries AD. Sylvia was very willing to answer questions and discuss aspects of the city, giving us a good insight into the history of Cagliari and Sardinia.

      Unground in Cagliari
We visited 3 locations. First was a bomb shelter built for the students and faculty of the still existing school. Very informative and interesting. See attached photos. Next was a down hill walk about 500 meters to a church that also had a bomb shelter…see photos attached..lastly, we stopped at our final destination a museum that had artifacts dating back many centuries ago..

      Informative, low stress, and friendly!
Our tour guide Francesca was very accommodating and relaxing, even while giving us a very thorough tour of the old city. Given that we had some physical limitations, she recommended stopping for tea after a steep climb, which was lovely. It was very low stress and somehow she kept us on track timewise. She knew so much about Cagliari and answered our hundreds of questions with ease - including personal ones about her family who lived locally for generations. We most enjoyed seeing the fortress towers and the Villanova section of town with plants and flowers lining the narrow streets. Great tour!

      Unique experience
This tour was special. It started underneath a middle school, which felt especially cool for my 9 year old. The pathways were lit by candles, which added an air of mystery. The tour guide Sylvia let us help blow them out on our way out of the tunnels - so fun! Sylvia was a wealth of historical information. Great tour!

Two of us took this tour. There were a total of four people along with our wonderful guide, Francesca, who picked us up conveniently near our room in the Old City of Cagliari. The ride to Barumini was comfortable and Francesca, a native Sardinian who can speak Italian, Sardinian and very good English, shared a lot of information about Sardinia. The tour of the nuraghe was very informative and interesting, albeit a little treacherous climbing down into the center of the stones. The added tour of the nearby museum and estate was also informative and interesting, and the total amount of time (half day) was just right. Francesca dropped us off at the location of our choice back in Cagliari. And then she came running after us to return my cell phone which I had left in the backseat of her vehicle. Wonderful!

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Francesca, picked us up on time and took us to the sites. She was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Su Nuraxi is larger than expected and fascinating. The general area is very scenic and beautiful too.
There's a small cafe near the site where you can enjoy a quick coffee/beer. Also toilets near the site were immaculate.

We were returned to the city area of our choice and recommend further places to visit.

We highly recommend this day trip

This tour is absolutely worth going to. The sites we visited were spectacular. Francesca is very knowledgeable and explained many details that would not have been obvious to a casual observer. And having the travelling included was a big plus - we did not have to make any arrangements, apart from the fact that she is a very careful driver. Totally recommended.

Our tour guide Maggie was wonderful. Her willingness to give us a taste of this unique part of Sardinia was unmatched. She was informative, entertaining, interesting, and patient! This was my 9-year-old son's favorite part of our whole trip to Sardinia. This fun adventure had it all for him and for us!

Note that Su Nuraxi is not easy to navigate if you have physical limitations. There were a lot of steps in the archeological site. Part of the tour involved sitting on your butt to slide down four steep stairs in a narrow path. Wear sneakers and pants/shorts you don't mind getting a little dirty!

It looks like this tour is the best and the cheapest. Francesca was a fantastic tour guide and told us lots of history we did not know. She was punctual and picked us up at our hotel. There were only two of us so we went in a comfortable car and she told us about the island as we drove through villages and the countryside. The site itself is not to be missed and most impressive. We realised, because of the bus times from Cagliati (afternoons) it would have been impossible to get there and back in a day and hard to reach. Francesca was like a friend showing us round and a lovely intelligent young woman. Do not miss!

Incredible conservation of such an ancient artifact. In the setting of the plateau that hosts it, this monument leads to an in-depth study of a historical period that is as ancient as it is little investigated and known. The visits are all guided and this makes them safe for tourists and full of news that fuels curiosity. Well maintained site, easily accessible even in the narrowest sections. Not to be missed.

We did a small-group tour, about six of us, with a driver 'Francesco' and a tour guide 'Francesca', which was comfortable and the tour informative. Francesca was able to answer all our questions easily and took us through the site at a comfortable pace. It's a fascinating site to visit and well worth it and not expensive.

A very informative tour. Francesca dud a wonderful job of guiding us through the countryside to Barumini. Although it was a very hot day we managed to navigate the paths up and into the nuraghe.we also did a tour of the museum and this was excellent as it is built over the foundations of some nuraghe. I would recommend others to do, however, a word of caution only with regard to very narrow and steep passageways.
