She was very enthusiastic and exuberant in her narration which kept us interested. The last stop at a gelateria was icing on the cake. Delicious I had a plane to catch immediately after the tour and she checked up on me later to see if I had gotten to the airport on time. Interesting visit. A first part "tourist" by bike then several stops to enjoy street food. That's pretty good. Our Guide spoke good French. Unfortunately, all this lacked some human warmth. Our Guide did his job but without more... and we felt that we should not linger too much in the tastings, because we had to finish on time...

While there wasn’t as much eating as we assumed, there was lots of presentation of history and local tradition, a surprise because of the way the company rearranged some tours to accommodate bikers’ wishes. We had an energetic and fun/funny tour guide named Alessia who spoke to our French and English group with ease and grace. There were a few scary moments on the bikes, more so riding down narrow streets between pedestrians and motorcycles than on the busy city streets, but Alessia kept us safe and on track. Overall, I would say this is a fabulous way to get an introduction to both the old and parts of the new city. We even rode down to the southern part of town, and I stuck my feet in the Adriatic.

Antonella was an amazing tour guide who had extensive knowledge on the city. Getting to ride along the coast on the bike was an unforgettable experience. Some roads were very crowded and narrow so good bike handling skills needed! The performance by the street performer was an added surprise. The street food portion of the tour was delicious! Would recommend for people even those traveling solo.

We were having a wonderful time, enjoying the bikes, history and gelato, when all of a sudden we were treated to a "surprise": meaning held captive to watch a man sing and play a tambourine in hopes of tips from the group. Being the person responsible for booking this private, group tour, it was a very awkward experience for everyone. We had all just arrived to Italy and no one had smaller bills (Euros), so people either had to give more than they wanted or nothing.
After this somewhat "scam-ish" ordeal, we were shown Pasta Alley which should have been a great local sight. However, people in the group were still unsure about trusting the situation/guide to make purchases. Being a "street food tour" it would seem a small sample of Taralli would have went a long way in getting guests to buy from the different vendors at this stop. Those that purchased taralli and/or pasta were happy they did, but most did not buy anything and somewhat regretted it after the fact.
In addition to losing tour time on the "music man", one guest asked to use a restroom. Without letting the group know, the guide left for a good 5 min only to find out others would like to do the same. So again we have awkward time spent waiting. In a three hour tour, something should be said if no restrooms are available throughout the tour or communicate where everyone can conveniently use one.....like how about during the forced music show!
After more bike riding things seem to get back on track and enjoyable once again. The salami and cheese tasting was great. Again it seemed a missed opportunity not to have the food offerings available right away and then a chance to buy from the merchant. Our group would have absolutely supported and purchased from these local establishments if handled differently.
Needless to say we seemed to get rushed for the end of the tour and some information was not followed up on. A good 30 mins was lost to the captive street performance and restroom delays. The group kept a positive attitude but when booking a private tour, no "surprises" should happen without consultation. Additionally, we asked to customize the tour a bit with a beer at the start of the ride, which wasn't able to be accommodated; therefore, no other unexpected aspects of the tour should be included either. The tour could easily be a rated of 5 if a few things had been different.

We loved our bike and food your. Emanuele was so knowledgeable about all of the history in Bari and took us to all of the most delicious food spots all while riding our bicycles through the city. Our family of 12 age ranges from 14-87 all loved this. Definitely do this if you are in Bari!

Very pleasant guide
But in the end there is a lack of content in the very short walk and done in 2 parts: 45 min walk with 3 cultural stops and nothing in between. Then back in the saddle for the street food part….disappointing overall. What we ate was very good but I expected more tastings and especially spread over the entire walk.
Too expensive price: €56 for 2 hours of walking and 3 appetizers and an ice cream!

We did the food bike tour today and it was such an amazing time. Anna Rita did a wonderful job showing off Bari and each place we stopped at to try the local Italian food was amazing. This tour is highly recommended for anyone visiting Bari.

Our German-speaking tour with Federico today was great. Federico told us a lot of interesting things about the history of Bari and took the time to answer all of our questions. The tastings of local, regional products were also great.

My husband & I really enjoyed our tour. Emanuela was our guide & she did a great job showing us around Bari. Although I hadn't been on a bike for many years, the touring around was lots of fun & very do-able! Emanuela took us to a place where Orecchiette Pasta is freshly made & I am so glad that I purchased 2 bags (only 5 euro for both). I made it last night & it was excellent! Great way to see some areas of beautiful Bari, have some great bites to eat, meet some new people + get some exercise! Can't go wrong!

Thanks to Barbara , our kind Guide who speaks French perfectly. She made us discover the main monuments of Bari and some alleys of the old Bari.
