not a foodtour that we are used to. first you walk for 3 hours without any tastings og drinks. first at the end you get served some wine and tapas.

Great tour. Guide was informative and great company. Very knowledgeable guide. Inspired me to book the next trip to Verona.

Tripadvisor pulled a bait and switch. I booked the Verona Local Food Tasting and Walking Tour with Cable Car. I have booked these types of tours directly with businesses throughout Europe and always enjoyed the time spent going to various bars and eating and drinking with a small group of people. Tripadvisor latched me on to a walking tour of Verona, walking for what seemed miles throughout the city. When I asked when we would stop and do the wine/food tasting, the guide said it would be at the end. At the end of the city tour, the people in our group left and I was left with the guide. He directed me to a bar at Piazza Bra where I sat alone with a charcuterie and a glass of wine. Pretty sad, really. I won't be booking these tours thru Tripadvisor anymore.

The tour was great. The guide was very knowledgeable. Some, very interesting facts. We went to corners of Verona I had already visited while wondering around and he provided context and history. Food was also great and the restaurant was in a great spot.

Mauro the guide was such a nice person, informative without going overboard and fun with the facts. When it came to the food and wine, he had good suggestions and was a pleasure to have with us.

We we under the impression (based on tour description) that it would be a food tour with different stops along the way to try local cuisine. Needless to say we arrived hungry and were told the tour was not a food tour but rather a walking tour with a local meats/cheeses platter at a restaurant in the square at the end of the tour. Also worth noting the tour does not include entrance into the colosseum. Our guide was great and she was super informative about Verona, we learned a lot and enjoyed it but was marketed very differently than what we experienced.

This was THE best way to experience Verona when you have a short timeline/ Our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Tour was a complete overview of the city. great food tasting and a terrific wine tasting and store at the end. Highly recommend.

Loved getting to roam the streets of verona and learn all about its history! Best part was the view from the top of the cable car ride. I would call out though this tour is a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes

Great tour. Only 8 people in our group. Good mix of walking and talking. Be prepared to walk about 4 miles or so. Tasting is at the very end.

The tour was a nice overview of Verona covering architecture and history. The guide did not have her sign with her at the meeting point so a little confusing at first. Saw several Verona highlights - Ponte Scaligero bridge, Juliet’s balcony, cable car, and more. Food component a bit lacking though. There was quite a discussion about the famous Verona cake, pandora, but no tasting. We looking at a menu outside a restaurant and discussed some of the dishes. The tour ended with the guide leaving us at a restaurant on our own. She had to get to a doctor’s appointment. We were served some bread, salumi, cheese and wine by the waiter. Other than the wines being from the Veneto region, the other items weren’t very particular to Verona. Overall, it was a pleasant tour.

Highly recommended this tour! It was a great start to our 4 day break in Italy. Our guide showed us hidden gems in the town and made me and my daughter feel comfortable and confident to navigate the town. You could see the guides passion for Verona, which really made our experience a lot better.

We had never visited Verona before and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get to know the city. Our guide spoke very good English and patiently answered any questions that we had. We ended up with a good background knowledge of the history of the city taking in some fantastic views and finished off with some food and wine at a loveley restaurant overlooking the Arena.

The guide was knowledgeable friendly and spoke fluidly in English. Highly recommended. The tour was well organised and was comprehensive

The best walking tour of Verona in my opinion. Mauro made the walk very interesting, the historical data and beautiful views very well combined. He presented the whole past of Verona, from roman to medieval, to venetian and austrian, all through a pleasant walk along Adige, the belvedere from San Pietro, finishing at Juliet's house. Then the food and wine part in a nice restaurant in front of the Arena was delicious and well deserved after three hours on foot.
