About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- JimRogers0 contributionsGREAT DAYOur Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani factory tour was amazing. Ricki, our driver/tour guide, has a super personality and is very knowledgeable of the local car history. He also does food and wine tours, which I’m sure would be outstanding. Our stop on this tour for lunch had the best pasta dishes of our entire trip. The factory tours were something our teenage grandson wanted to do, and he was very happy at the end of the day. Watching multi-million dollar cars being hand built up close is not to be missed.Written 12 July 2024
- 80joyf0 contributionsA good tour but not good valueit was amazing the Lamborghini was my favorite the Ducati was okay..the Ferrari was not so cool...... The guide and driver were very disappointing. All they did was shuttle us from place to place. I would have likes some information about where we were, history of the towns etc. Overall, a good tour but not good value. It would have been just as good to hire a car and drive ourselves from place to place.Written 28 June 2024
- Amanda W0 contributionsA must doExcellent day out, factory tours are well worth paying the extra for. Our guide Ricki was very professional, engaging and knowledgeable. Nice lunch following Lambo and Ferrari to get us ready for Pagani which was another level in engineering and attention to detail . Highly recommend.Written 18 June 2024
- andygabyg0 contributionsUnforgettable supercar experienceA trip to Bologna had to include a tour around the supercar centre of Europe for myself and my son (an engineering intern for BMW so coming with a knowledge of cars and car plants). We had booked via an online site that featured the lunch heavily but realised that a direct booking online with Factory Motor Tour was the same tour and same lunch but for a better price, thanks to email communication with Giancarlo. Led by Giancarlo and assisted by driver Antonio, we were guided and chauffeured between the three sites in comfort. The Ferrari museum was impressive with a good history of the cars but felt slightly corporate, although we got lots of photos beside cars we would ordinarily only see on a screen. Lamborghini included a factory tour with a great guide and a close view of practically every stage of the construction of the Urus model. The museum allowed even closer inspections than Ferrari of some of the most spectacular cars in the world. Although there were fewer cars than at Ferrari, we took many more photos! After a great pasta lunch with a wonderful local red Lambrusco wine at Ca' Bianca, we finished the day with the highlight. My car expert son knew a lot about Pagani but neither of us had seen one in real life. The factory tour was in a building that resembled an Italian piazza in style, which was impressive enough. The walk through, again very professionally done, showed the steps for making a car which is customised by the client down to the finest detail and perfected at each stage of what is not a production line, but the creation of a work of art. The museum is smaller than Ferrari or Lamborghini but the cars are a level above the others and can be seen from every angle. The only thing lacking at all three factories is the chance to hear the engines being revved, although the Lamborghini factory does have a stage where the engine is started to be driven for testing. As trips go, this was one of the more expensive ones that we have done, but the opportunity to see this number of supercars, inside and out, made it very much worth the cost.Written 17 June 2024
- A1183LLianl0 contributionsGood but the advertised Maserati museum visit was not includedEnjoyed the day and the visits to the Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari and Lamborghini museums, but a visit to the Pagani museum was substituted without explanation instead of the Maserati museum, which I had particularly wanted to visit.Written 13 June 2024
- 832chasew0 contributionsLamborghini factory tour was really cool to see how it’s made. Ferrari museum was also great. Awesome carsTook lots of photos pretty awesome to be able to go around the different places not having to worry about transportation. If you want to goto all these places but don’t want to rent a car I would definitely recommend. Just makes it easierWritten 6 June 2024
- JJSFnative0 contributionsFantastic experience! We booked three days of private tours with IFMT. We started by email to arrange exactly the places we wanted to see. We also wanted track driving. Giancarlo was very patient and worked hard to arrange what we wanted. A lot is dependent on the factories themselves as to timing. It was obvious Giancarlo and his partner Antonio have long standing connections through the entire region. We were picked up at our accommodation in a very comfortable car by Antonio and another guide, Alia. They were funny, kind, generous and knowledgeable about everywhere we went. We visited Ferrari Modena, Ferrari Maranello, Lamborghini museum and factory and the Pagani factory and museum. At every stop we were guided in past lines and enjoyed really great experiences. We also drove laps at the Autodromo at Modena (highly recommended) We finished our last day with a food tour including Parmesan, prosciutto and balsamic producers. Each stop was curated and was absolutely amazing. Each day came with a sit down restaurant lunch where we were treated to amazing local food and drinks. The food and local knowledge were top notch I would highly recommend any of the tours offered. Just be aware that this is a smaller company who are highly hands on, but everything in Italy runs at a different pace than many outsiders expect.Written 22 May 2024
- AlexandriaBur0 contributionsLife Changing Experience!!Absolutely incredible day, seamless travel between each of the museums and we were with the best of the best. Our guides, Giancarlo and Riccardo, were informative, caring and very obviously well known for taking tours through (I would venture to say they were the staff’s favorite guides as well). Lunch was delicious and surprisingly didn’t feel rushed - our group had pasta and wine and had plenty of time to enjoy the meal before touring the factory. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and they made sure I was taken care of throughout the day.Written 14 May 2024
- Australianblondie0 contributionsFerrari, Lamborghini and Ducati tourGiancarlo and Antonio led our tours. We had a private tour and they were very patient with us. We started off at the Lamborghini museum, then Enzo Ferrari museum, followed by Ferrari museum. We then stopped for lunch at an amazing local restaurant. We completed our tour at the Ducati plant going through the factory and witnessed the Ducati production line, we ended up going through the museum to end our day. Definitely worth it if you live card and are in BolognaWritten 9 February 2024
- FerrariWidow0 contributionsBest Anniversary ever!Best Anniversary ever ! We visited Italy with about couple for a sports car centric Anniversary trip. We booked the trip in advance through Viator, and met Ricky at the bologna train station. We were comfortably driven in a Mercedes-Benz sprinter van with two other people. Everything was top quality and prearranged from the tickets to the museums, being prepaid, the time allowed in each museum, the personalclassic Maserati collection which also had a cheese and balsamic factory and tasting on the property, and a fantastic lunch. We would recommend this tour to anybody who loves sports cars and wants to be taken to see them in style. I can’t say enough good things about Ricky from his service to safe driving to keeping us on track while allowing enough time to see everything we wanted to see. End of course translating so we could buy the best balsamic and Parmesan cheese in Italy.Written 18 January 2024

A must visit for any petrol head or car fanatics. I had a business meeting run long in Milan that caused me to miss my reservation for the factory tour, but was allowed in to view the museum, then was invited back to use my ticket for the factory tour the following day.
Unbelievable, history and cars on display. I spend my career certifying aircraft, aircraft parts, test procedures, and test set-ups. I have a sizable background in advanced composites, so I don’t have to tell you that seeing that sort of thing in an exotic automotive application is pretty cool. Can’t wait to bring my wife next time.
I will say I was a bit disappointed to see that the production of the Estoque, was passed over for that SUV that is currently in production. Would have been a suitable replacement for my Panamera.
