Very well organized tour company. And an excellent tour guide Oscar. A definite do not miss historic sight.
Tour the ancient Roman landmark at your own pace
Enter through the less crowded Gladiator’s Gate
See the underground workings of the Colosseum from above
Optional skip the line access at the Roman Forum
Stand where gladiators stood on the floor of the Colosseum, then rise up through the ranks to survey the vista from the Emperor’s box on a self-guided tour. These skip the line passes give you special admission to areas the public doesn’t always get to see, plus entrance through the Gladiator’s Gate with direct access to the partially restored floor of the Colosseum.
Feel the glory and majesty of Rome at the height of its power as you walk on the very same stones as those who came to fight here in gladiatorial combat, treading in their footsteps out onto a partial reconstruction of the arena floor, looking up at the tiered ruins that were once filled with some 50,000-80,000 bloodthirsty spectators.
You are sure to hear their echoes as your eyes are drawn upward, your body turns and your mind is boggled by the elegance and engineering prowess of what was once the largest structure of its kind in the world, all from this unique 360° view, home to the gladiatorial games, exotic staged hunts, theatrical executions and even mock sea-battles.
Enjoy up-close views of the underground area where the spectacle was brought to life, and the panorama from where the Emperor’s box once stood, all special access areas that standard ticket holders don’t get to see.
In addition, gain access to the second floor, tracing the Colosseum’s circumference in an effort to understand what it must have been like when the stands were packed, the crowds were roaring and a gladiator’s destiny hung on their whims.
After the tour, have the option of staying inside the Colosseum to continue your exploration or follow the representative to take advantage of the Skip the Line access to the Roman Forum. Be able to hike to the top of the Palatine Hill for an exceptional bird’s-eye perspective over the Forum and Circus Maximus.

I have reviewed this once and it appears to have been removed. This is one of the worst organisations I have ever had the misfortune to come across! We waited longer to get in than if we'd have bought our ticket that day and queued....More
Dear Superfussy, Thank you for your review. We're very sorry to hear that our tour did not reach your expectations. One of the benefits of our Colosseum tours is that it includes skip the line access into the venue. We're disappointed to hear that this...More
I really wanted to do the Colosseum tour with the 5th level and underground, but we left it too late to book this very popular tour and it was sold out. We ended up booking the Colosseum with Arena Floor which City Wonders call their...More
