Amazing time. Professional and knowledgeable your guide.
All the places we went were so cool, and very thoroughly explained by our knowledgeable tour guide Diego. He answered everyone’s questions amazingly with extensive follow-up info and directed the flow/traffic of our tour group well. Plus he had the flag of the 11th legion as the rally flag for keeping us together (so cool). Totally recommend this tour and Diego as well if you can get him as your guide!

    Review of Colosseum tour
Tour was excellent & covered a lot of ground. Our tour guide, Marcius was an excellent guide, his English was good, he was able to answer all of our questions & told us about all the significant areas of the Colosseum & Palatine Hill. Highly the tour & our guide!

    Good explanations
Great guide and experience. Efficient snd with good info. The only thing was that they told us we were supposed to be allowed at the Carcere Mamertino but then when we went there the reception told us the ticket did not include thus. But apart from that everything was great. Will recommend

    Great tour!
Our tour guide Elida guided us expertly around the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. It provided a brilliant insight into the history of everything, far beyond anything you can experience yourself. The bonus of a guide is no long waiting in lines and this is a huge bonus! Keep it up Elida, a credit to your company! Thank you, Matt & Adele, UK/Ireland

    Avoid!! Total disaster
This was a total disaster, there was no guide at our meeting point, the phone number on the voucher no longer works, zero organisation, we got refunded Tripadvisor app and then bought tickets ourselves at a fraction of the cost.. Avoid this company at all costs it’s a total scam

    Great tour
Very good, skillful and funny guide and I liked the mix of both following the group but during the 3 hours we also got 3-4 times where we could walk by ourselves for a little while to snap photos and ask questions to the guide. Recommended.

    Outstanding experience!
First of all, the coliseum is outstanding and would be a worthwhile visit no matter what. Our guide, Laura Antonucci, took this to a whole new level with incredible knowledge, tongue in cheek comedy, and exceptional storytelling. Guides can occasionally make or break an experience and Laura was the best guide I have ever had the pleasure of following. Highly recommend this tour and I hope you’re lucky to enough to have Laura.

HELLO! Yes Flavia did a great job of explaining the history and making such a dismal spectacle and social game a fun one-the colosseum itself of course is phenomenal. I DID NOT LIKE the headphones that they give which are used once and then thrown away...also was a bit expensive for the tour. But it was educational and the guide, Flavia was very lovely and seemed to know much about Roman history-and appreciate it!

I booked a small English tour of the Roman forum and the colosseum with arena access and it was really easy to find the place we had to meet. The group was small which was very nice and the tour guide was excellent. He was friendly and very informative and clearly very passionate about the city’s history which made for an even better experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Ancient Rome and learn a lot about it at the same time, well worth the money !

We booked this tour same day in person, after our previously booked tour with a different group cancelled on us. This tour for €69 per person exceeded our expectations!!! Dennis was an incredible, knowledgeable guide and showed us the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Colosseum. He moved at a good pace and our tour was capped at 26 people (there were a bunch of tours leaving at the same time, 3pm), and we all had one-eared headphones to hear Dennis talking even if we were roaming around the sites. We expected the tour to be 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, and it was about 3 hrs 10 mins ending in the Colosseum, so people could spend even more time there if they wanted. Amazing tour that was a highlight of our trip to Rome!!!

Actual tour around the colosseum and palatine gardens very good, however if under the age of 40 I would recommend not bothering with this tour, over priced extra 20 euro a head just for someone to speak none stop down your ear for 3 hours. If the information given was interesting and relevant then this would make the tour better. However, Andrara was too interested in explaining every little detail about some silly rocks rather than the colosseum as a whole an the history behind it. I didn’t come half way accross the word and spend 45 euro to stare at some rocks and Motor for half of the tour.

Flavia's knowledge and communication on so many levels was fantastic. Her insights gave a depth to this experience that was welcome and really enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this tour if you want a thorough understanding of what you are seeing all around you.
On a logistic note, her professionalism was highly evident despite the large group she had to manage. The day of our tour was dreadfully hot. She made a point when stopping to speak to the group to have us all in shade whenever possible and made sure we were able to refill our water bottles frequently. There was an excellent balance to keep moving, but enough time to take in sights and take pictures. I did wish there was an earlier bathroom break.

Guilio was our tour guide and he was WONDERFUL. You can tell he loves history and brings a ton of charisma and energy to the entire tour. We took the English speaking tour and he has great English and was very receptive to all of our questions. Also gave us further recommendations (excavation of St Clement Basilica) which was also incredible so he continued to help better our trip. Def would recommend this tour if you want to learn all the fun history of the space.

It was good the guide was knowledgeable but these tours are very expensive, I would say 70% of the people in these crowded tourist attractions are doing “self guides” with audio tapes. Advantage doing a tour is get through the lines probably 20mins before self guided tour. Advantage of self guided with audio 1/3 of the price and you can take your time and spend longer marvelling at the man made wonders.

Overall Rome is a beautiful city, overcrowded with tourists like me, extremely expensive with poor quality food to eat and food presentation pathetic. It is like watching a 1980 porn movie “in & out” same WOW factor at every corner but just so messy. I reckon restaurants love taking the absolute piss out of the tourist and when I go into a “traditional family run business” and if I want a cappuccino at 12.01pm just allow me to enjoy it without the eyebrow raise. Also Romans need to look up the history of spaghetti and it was the Chinese who invented it.(fun fact)

Renata was a great tour guide, she was very passionate, knowledgable and friendly on the tour and was able to answer any questions we had with further detail. We visited the ground and top floor of the Colosseum, Palatine hill and the Roman forums. The tour Included a headset so we could hear what she was saying and didn't miss anything. The tour was a good pace, giving enough time to ask questions, take pictures and really take in the amazing views. The tour didn't feel scripted and was definitely worth the money as you wouldnt learn all the facts, roman history and information without her. We would highly recommend the tour!

I have images taken on the day and of
Renata.

Our trip was great! Our tour guide was very knowledgable, personable and funny! We loved her! The colosseum was quite busy but we received headphones which made it very easy to hear what she was saying. The meeting point was very easy to find, just one street over from the entrance to the colosseum. There was a lot of security, we had to go through two checkpoints with metal detectors for us and our bags. Our tickets were checked at multiple points. Masks were required in enclosed areas of the tour but optional in the open air and walking points of the tour.

Our tour guide Helena was amazing!! We would recommend bringing your own headphones; the ones they provide are not as comfortable. We were surprised how long the tour was. Due to the length of the tour we would recommend eating before and a water bottle. My friend and I made the mistake of not eating before and not bringing water! Helena made sure we always had an opportunity to stop in the shade when needed, but if you are traveling in the summer months absolutely bring a small spf bottle with you. We really enjoyed the tour. There are a lot of photo opportunities to take photos inside, but if you want to stop at the gift shops you’ll have to do it on your own time. We really enjoyed our small tour and we absolutely would recommend it to others!
