Not Skip the Line

Still waited 2 hours to get in. It took 45 minutes just to get to the line from the start. The earpiece to listen to the guide didn’t work and they didn’t care to fix it. Vatican was awesome of course though. Just seemed like...More

Great tour guide, but Vatican crowded

We took an early morning tour and our guide advised us that it appeared to be not to big a crowd. But the Vatican and particularly Sistine Chapel were packed. No time or room to simply admire and fully appreciate the stunning works of art....More

No other way to do the Vatican

It made all the difference to take the early morning tour. We were able to appreciate the Sistene chapel- our guide had us skip the entire museum (starting at the end), then work our way backwards to see it after having visited the Sistene Chapel....More

For the Vatican museums I went straight to the Vatican website bypassing the need to pay commission I can’t remember which company I used for St Peter’s,

My tour ended up in the Basilica but it was not a Mass day. I have been told that the tours do allow do let you skip the lines on Mass day.
