Very interesting tour, must see! The nicest part with the water basin is only visible if you go through very narrow aisles. If you are claustrophobic, try to do it anyway because the view is absolutely worth it. Our guide was a very good story teller which made the experience even better.

Loved our tour guide. Although, I am still not sure if his name was Bret, or Brit. Nevertheless, he was very informative, and we really enjoyed hearing about the legend of the Monaceilo. The theater and the wine the hidden wine cellar were my favorite. Legend and lore mixed with history is always a great time.

Wow great value for money. You need to embrace narrow tunnels and the dark. (Not normally a fan of these) It's great fun, as you are with a group you look after each other.

Overall experience was ok. Issue was it was very crowded so most of the time we could not hear what the tour guide was saying.

The process is very painful and disorganized. I received a message the night before from my tour guy with to check-in. I arrived at the checkin time and the a gate lady tells me Im with the English group to return at 1pm. I returned as instructed. To my surprise the lady checking tickets and now directing groups was a different. This new lady had no patience and right away tells me to come back at 2pm because my group was already full. I was confused and trying to understand what was going on. Lady, who refused to give me her name start screaming not only at me but at other tourists. She seems overwhelmed and the lines where completely chaotic. i had no idea what I had done wrong but she screaming at me that No, No my group with Mario was now full and I can either come back or get my money back or call the service who I purchased my tickets. Her peers were trying to help me and explain what I was told and confirmed at the 1pm group, this lady lost it and os screaming at everyone on the entrance. My daughter was so scared and was as confused as me as to why was this lady so out of control. I called trip advisor and while on the phone with trip advisor, they ask me to get her name. i went back to get her name and the lady starts screaming again saying Im not giving you my name. The customer service representative heard this lady screaming and literally told me to walk away. I have officially filed a complaint.

This was a very interesting and educational tour. It could be a little strenuous for this not able to take a lot of stairs and tight spaces.

Amazing tour! Guide was so knowledgeable. It was an excellent way to escape the hustle of above ground. The history was fascinating!!!

We were looking for an activity on the day we left for the airport. We came across this tour, looking interesting we paid €30 (for two) and made our way to the location. As expected it is the usual Italian confusion, with groups rather than queues, no one listening to instructions, it is expected though. The tour started and went deep underground, the guide (sorry I can’t recall your name) young lady blonde air, English tour 1300 15/05 I will say you are fabulous and made the tour even better. It goes into some really small tunnels that you need to go through sideways, using your phone as a torch, if you are large you may struggle. The history of the tunnels were just amazing, and the hidden theatre well I bet Naples is littered with them waiting to be explored. The area is buzzing and loads to buy, eat and drink. Excellent trip and money well spent

Unique experience. Very interesting, going through tunnels and seeing underground rooms etc. not for the claustrophobic!

Learned a lot about the uses of the novels during WWIi as well as how the tunnels have perfect humidity and function. Too bad the Italians recycled so many marbles and granites in past centuries. Tiny tunnels were fun to navigate.

Really loved this tour. You can't enter on your own, you need to wait for a guided tour to start your underground journey. The guide (English tour) was very entertaining and informative. You won't see "crazy things", but it's all about the big stories behind very small details. A lot of stairs both down and up. I counted the ones going up: 132. The guide stops on every 50th step 😉

The underground Naples caverns are so extensive and fantastic - and our guide was brilliant in explaining the history from digging to get the stone to build houses, to using the caverns for water storage, to then filling with waste, to clearing and using as war-time bomb shelters. And the visit to nearby underground theatre remains was a real bonus.

Great history of Naples from ancient times to modern. Even liked going through the narrow section, wear back pack on your front. The extra visit to the Roman amphitheatre and tunnel was great

Great experience . Not for the elderly or those who have difficulty in tight spaces . You have to option no not complete that part .
