      Needs improvement
The tour guide Flores was VERY hard to understand. We understood less then half of what she was saying. She was friendly, but lacked passion for the job. I expected a lot more useful information. Also, the stop at the iron works was nothing but a poor sales pitch , contributed nothing to the experience and wasted precious time which may otherwise have been spent seeing the inside of the cathedral. The 2 local guides in Toledo an Segovia gave a lot of interesting information. Why did guide leave instead of continuing inside of castle? The bus driver did an excellent job!

The tour moved at a comfortable pace and served as an excellent introduction to the three cities we visited.
Highly recommended. Enjoyed it a lot. Great value and lovely views of the different cities we visited. So glad we were able to go.

Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Highlight of our trip to Spain. Would have liked to see inside of cathedrals.

      Could have been good
The guide Julio did not control the group. He needed to talk to the people that did not pay attention as it ruined the experience for the others. Because of this, we did not get to go into the cathedral in Avila. When we got to Segovia, we never explored the aqueducts and were not told we were not going back to them. A few big misses is why I rated the trip this way. Julia Tours.

Don’t book with Amigo / go city pass - book direct
Highly recommend booking tickets in advance and make sure you book direct . Sadly we booked using our Go city Madrid pass which then uses Amigo Tours. Amigo also take direct bookings so when they overbook guess who they cancel . That’s right the ticket holders that booked using their pass . Grrrrrr

      Massive day but so worthwhile
It’s a jam packed day but it ticked our boxes . We got to see both beautiful Toledo and Segovia . Would we have liked to spend longer there ? Absolutely! But sometimes your itinerary just doesn’t work like that We got our tickets through the go city Madrid pass . Booked through the app and amigo keep updating you via the app . Only thing we had to purchase was our entrance to Alcázar So you start near the bullfighting arena in Madrid. Make sure you have breaky or a coffee before you get on the bus First up Toledo . You will go to some lookouts . Then into town for a very quick morning tea. Yes it involved some stairs but mostly elevators After morning tea you go through the maze of Toledo , around 5000 steps ending at st Martin’s bridge Back on the bus to the sword making factory which we kinda thought was a waste of time except you get a toilet stop . It’s just to try and make you buy something Then a two hour bus ride to Segovia Oh my goodness it will take your breath away !!!! You will have lunch here with a plethora of choices but you might not want to sit too long so you can explore before you walk to the cathedral and Alcazar castle . Another 7000 steps Close to 13,000 steps / 9.3 km for the day The coach was a super smooth ride . Our guide Kahn was pretty funny and very informative Both towns are absolutely beautiful and I am so glad we got to see them . Thank you Gocity pass and Amigo tours Tips : Have breaky before you start the tour and take some snacks and water for the bus ride You can add Aquila after Segovia for an additional cost

      Toledo and Segovia Day Trip
The tour was well paced with time to rest in the bus between Toledo and Segovia. The bus was comfortable and we were able to keep up with the walking tour. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Khan. He is professiona and extremely knowledgeable about the various sites we visited in both cities. His knowledge, coupled with a great sense of humour made the information interesting and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend this tour. Try to go with Khan's bus.

      Unprofesional
The tour was canceld with no pertinent explanation. Also the other two: at Reina Sofia Musem and at Prado Museum!?! They offered postpone dates after a week?!? Of course not beeing spanish, we have left Madrid the day after!!! So, we have to pay the entance at this museums - no use of the GoCity Card!!!

TOLEDO & SEGOVIA 1 DAY TOUR
I took a tour to Toledo and Segovia on May 8th, 2024 with Amigo Tour and the tour guide named Khan did an excellent job guiding us through the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who interested in doing a one day tour to visit these two cities.

If you have kids please save your money and do not go to this museum. They don’t accept strollers inside the museum and kids have to hold hands with the adults at all times. I was asked to leave the stroller in the locker room although I saw two strollers inside. Maybe the treatment is different for foreigners and spanish citizens. The security personnel
Was rude and not friendly at all. When we were in the Guernica section the museum staff kept screaming at us because we had a kid. My son was well behaved and was standing behind the line and next to me. The Prado museum is much more kid friendly.

Steffi was an excellent guide with a masters degree in art history and on museums or some such. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Problem was that the tour was in English AND Spanish so she would talk about a painting in English then the same one in Spanish. Having a tour in one language would mean getting twice as much coverage of the works. I had asked if it was in English and told yes but it wasn't clear it was in both.

Came to the meeting point on time and waited for guide to organize tour, get tickets and headsets etc. Scheduled for 12:45 start but didn’t actually start to 1:30. Also was supposed to go to 2pm but at 3 we had to leave for another tour. The most annoying part was it was bilingual and the guide had to describe every stop and every work twice. We assumed they could gather enough participants to make an English tour?! On the positive the young lady tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and articulate and did provide interesting insights.

Helena was a fantastic guide that was kind and knowledgeable. She highlighted some of the most important works at the Reina Sofia. This tour is quick - 1 hour and 20 min, so its not comprehensive. You can stay longer afterwards though. We entered through the group entrance so we skipped the main line which saved a lot of time.

Whilst Guernica was what we really wanted to see, we loved a lot of the other offerings (there were really interesting Picasso and Dali's, as well as many many others - also some of the old/ancient architectural drawings are amazing)

Superficially Guernica appeared simply big and drab, until we read the Wikipedia description of it, and then it took on a whole new significance - it is just boggling. What an amazing piece of art. Simple and yet incredibly complex at the same time.

My wife and I left feeling completely impressed.

We had booked our tickets ahead, and arrived shortly after opening time - the queue was not too long, and we got in quickly. At that time of the day the crowd around Guernica wasn't overwhelming put when we were leaving we noticed that it had dramatically increased.

So come for Guernica but stay for all the other amazing art, posters, and drawings (and more)

do not book this tour if you want an english guide. they legit say one sentence in english and one paragraph in spanish. this is a dual-language tour which it never mentioned in the description. they do not care about the English speakers and literally had people leave the group because she rushed it and barley spoke english. do not recommend

The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. I was disappointed to sign up for an English tour but come to find out it was bilingual and we were the only English speakers. Also, took 30 minutes for the actual tour to start which was disappointing. Would recommend other tour option.

No one showed up and after multiple calls they said they were inside and they would not issue a refund or provide tickets to the museum. We were early and waited 20 minutes before we bought another set of tickets.
