Ainara, Marta and Katy were incredible guides, very kind and attentive at all times, always making sure that no one was missing and always explaining everything super well and with great encouragement.
At first there was a small problem since they assigned us a bus that was for a shorter tour (to Segovia) but Ainara was always ready to relocate us to the Avila part. From here we went with Katy and Marta, both very friendly.
Beautiful cities, the bus is very comfortable, despite being large groups, no one misses the explanation and it gives enough space to see and hear the entire route in each city. Overall great, highly recommended. We were fascinated.
PS: You should prepare to walk a lot, it is somewhat tiring, but it is worth it, everything is very beautiful.

Khan was an organized, funny and informative English tour guide for both Toledo and Segovia. I strongly recommend this shorter tour (versus the 3 city tour) as it takes about an hour to Toledo and two hours to Segovia. Coffee break in Toledo was perfect as was the hour lunch break in Segovia. Khan expertly used funny stories and iPad visuals to describe the sights. Lot of walking in both cities so wear comfortable shoes. Bus coach was very comfortable and the escalator up to Toledo saved time hiking up the hill!

We used Amigo tours to take a 3 city tour to Toledo, Segovia and the optional tour to Avila. The tour started at the Madrid metro stop Ventas and although we showed up on time for a 0745 departure, it was a little concerning that our tour operators showed up only around 0730 while all the visitors had to stand outside in the cold !!....it can get quite cold in Madrid in early March !!
Apart from that one hiccup, I must say that the tour was really superbly choreographed. Our guide Jose Luis was very well informed and gave us wonderful commentary at all the places we visited. The towns of Toledo and Segovia themselves are stunning in their beauty and history and Jose Luis made them come alive with his commentary.
When we transitioned to the optional bus to Avila, it was also very well organized. The drivers were superb and safe and the guides insisted on safety at all times. The amount of time we had to tour was also adequate, given that we visited 3 cities in one day. All things considered, it was an awesome day spent with a very organized group, knowledgeable guides and very safe drivers. A very enthusiastic 'two thumbs up' !!....:)

Last January 7, 2024, I took this tour with 22 students from the United States and there were some difficulties from the bus assignment at the meeting point in Las Ventas.
We were informed that we should board one of the buses parked there and, in the end, there were 4 people without seats available, the lady who was apparently in charge did not know what to say or do and then they informed us that we should board a second bus, which had chairs for the entire group. This denotes improvisation and lack of preparation because if we know in advance the number of people on the tour and the capacity of each bus, the above should not happen.
Secondly, the time allocated to the city of Toledo and the city of Segovia was not enough to explore the cities a little more, it seemed like we were in a marathon or race against the clock.
The guide must consider the large number of tourists who visit the two cities and therefore the places for lunch are quite congested and orders are therefore more delayed.
We have done this tour for the last 6 years with groups of high school students from the USA, and we have always had much more time in each city, unfortunately this time it was not like that. Very disappointing

Dear JuanaL2,
We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you and your group faced, and we appreciate your detailed comments.
We regret the confusion at the bus assignment at the meeting point. We understand the frustration this may have caused and we are committed to ensuring a smoother boarding process in the future.
Regarding the time allocated for Toledo and Segovia, we apologize if it felt rushed. The tour is organized to visit two cities in one day, with at least an hour and a half distance between them, so we effectively have an itinerary to follow to ensure a guided visit to the most important places in each one and in this way comply with the service offered.
We assure you that your feedback is invaluable, and we will take proactive measures to improve our services.
Best regards from the quality department of Amigo Tours.

We are very unlucky to have boarded this tour guide. The tour guide name Jose is the worst, inexperienced and useless tour guide I have encountered.
First foremost, the direction given at the app was to wait at metro exit, but no one was there until we saw a bus at the corner of the street, and he was right at the bus expecting everyone to know where the bus is. When questioned him about it, he asked us to just go up to the bus without much explanation...Wtf!!
Secondly, he is being selfish by walking fast without taking put much attention whether those participants really cope with his movement. There were few occasions where cars almost hit pedestrian because he walked and expected everyone to follow without much attention. There were an old Indian man whom had walking ability, were left unnoticed until the guide needs confronted by his son.
Finally when we need to go back to Madrid, his command was really confusing, because there's a bus for Avila and another one to Madrid. Luckily a Spanish lady guide Amigo Tours was clear enough to inform everyone. What this guy, Jose good at is rush people without giving time to take pictures, only just want to finish his job and that's it..
I'm really disappointed with Jose. This guy is not qualified as a tour guide!

Toledo, far too many tourists and people miss the most exquisite places like the museum De Santa Cruz, an amazing church that has been transformed into a museum. Also the Museo Cromatica, located in a convent, where 19 nuns still live in clausura, and a small part of the large convent now is the place where an exhibition of hand painted musical instruments is located. The exhibition is so exquisite that one wants to be there for ever. The rest of Toledo is too crowded, and it felt as a tourist trap without any poetics. Worth seeing and staying is the castle across from the main Town where one stays for around $20 a night, exquisite views of Toledo and the landscape of Castilla.

Toledo is a postcard, it has landscapes that fascinate, its cobblestone streets transport you back to the past, to a medieval city.
If you want to have a more detailed visit of Toledo I recommend you just choose that place, it has a lot of history and a lot to travel.
The guides who played us, Enrique and Alex, are the best, always very attentive to the group. Every piece of information they told us at every stop was very honest and with extensive knowledge of the subject. They are definitely great guides.

The tour was good, I liked the visit to Toledo, the only bad thing was the bad weather because it was cold and there was a lot of fog which made it impossible to see anything and Segovia was good, the weather there was sunny with a lot of heat so I enjoyed the visit more, this tour is made for those who have little time, since they only see the main thing, there is no time to see other things outside the itinerary. My guides were Beatriz and Cinthia and our driver was called Antonio. As for the explanations, they were good. Another thing I didn't like is that you can't eat inside the bus. But I do recommend this tour if you have a day to spare on your trip to Madrid!

The tours are very good, but they do it very quickly and you can't finish appreciating the city. I booked Toledo and Segovia but the people who visited Avila were on the same tours and I think that is for this reason that they do it very quickly to be able to meet the schedules. They should give more time to enjoy the city.

No specific recommendations were given. For example, they didn’t say to visit Toledo Cathedral, which is a must-see, even though if I had the time to do it (I was able to do it thanks to the recommendation of friends who did make the tour).
Then the seats on the bus were uncomfortable, smaller than those on a plane if you're traveling as a tourist, and less ergonomic, and if someone wanted to throw themselves out, they hit yes or yes on the back.
Also, the bus, when you came in (some of them with kids), reeked of a cigar, as if someone had been smoking inside or had come in after signing.
If I could ask for a partial refund, I would.
Likewise, if it is not with this company, with any other, I recommend that you visit Segovia and Toledo, are two places that, despite the not so good experience of the tour, can not miss if you are in Madrid.

Except the tour cost in around $80, are there any other fees, for example, entrance ticket, etc.?
Written 12 June 2022
There are no additional fees if you stick to the tour places and schedules. They may give you some time off and you can visit other museums but they may require you to pay a fee to enter. My recommendation is to stick to tour, there is enough to see and you will like it.
Written 26 July 2022
Can a hotel pick up arranged by the tour company in the morning with extra fees?
Written 12 June 2022
I didn't see the option, you can arrange transportation using either UBER or a taxi from the hotel to the meeting point.

Hola buenas tardes,
