Despite my group arriving late, Vivinos went out of their way to accommodate us. We enjoyed our wine and snacks, and generally had a great time. Would recommend to anyone!

At a gourmet wine and food shop, a sommelier educates your palate to recognize the subtle flavors of five Catalan wines. Enjoy regional snacks such has bread, cheese, and olive oil, and relish the chance to purchase fine Spanish produce in the store. In order to maintain an intimate atmosphere, this experience is limited to 15 wine lovers.
After making your own way to the wine shop, located in the historic El Born district on Carrer del Canvis Nous, you’ll be greeted by your sommelier host and taken to the tasting area.
Following an overview of Catalonia’s winemaking history, you’ll be presented with five wine varietals. Under the guidance of a sommelier, educate your palate to recognize the subtle differences in each varietal by adopting basic wine tasting techniques.
To accompany the wines, a spread of local produce including olive oil, fresh bread, and cheese is served. All of the wine and food samples can be purchased in the store following your one and a half hour tasting session.

Had a great time at the wine tasting! The host was knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly in a really fun way that everyone enjoyed. Really interesting to learn about the various Spanish wines and how to better appreciate and enjoy wines in general. Highly recommended!
