The guide (David) was fantastic - very knowledgeable and approachable and made the trip enjoyable for everyone! I was only visiting Barcelona for a few days and was initially unsure whether I wanted to take a whole day trip out of the city, however I’m so glad I did. Montserrat and Sitges are both beautiful and next time I’m in the area I will definitely arrange to spend a day or two in Sitges. Highly recommend this trip.Written 17 July 2024

The views alone are spectacular, but the additional knowledge he shared made it a five star experience. I would call the hike down moderate, not easy. We were fine. So fun!!Written 18 June 2024

The tour was beautiful and Alan was fantastic! We loved every minute of the very friendly and informative tour. It felt like we were visiting a friend :) Only minor feedback is just to clarify the pick-up experience. We arrived at the location and didn’t know what to do, as it is a residence. After just a few minutes Alan arrived to pick us up in the marked van. Would highly recommend this tour and any others offered by Mont Escape Tours!!

We had a fabulous day with Ferron from the moment the tour started to its completion he gave the impression that he was there to ensure we had a wonderful experience and his communication about the plans for the day was excellent as well as being fun to be with. The balance between the walking in nature, free time in Girona and the information conveyed was perfect at a pace that was flexible to our needs. I would thoroughly recommend this tour!

We experienced two unforgettable adventures in one day! Our tour guide was the kindest and most helpful person who kept us safe, took photos and helped us fall in love with the adventure and region. This was one of the best days of our life! There are no words to describe how beautiful the coast and Girona are. This is a must do experience!

David is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable but not overly talkative. The costa Brava/Girona tour is excellent especially if you want to get away from the hustle bustle of Barcelona for an afternoon. There are no crowds in Winter, but you won’t be able to get in the water. In summer, expect Costa Brava to be packed. I loved walking through Girona. Have a leisurely lunch, shop the cute boutiques and walk through the old City. There are lots of Game of Thrones stops here as well.

Wonderful time. David our guide and driver was very friendly, fluent and informative. The hike was beautiful and Girona was nice. A good amount of walking involved but nothing rigorous. Leisurely 1.5 hours to have lunch in Girona when we arrived. Van was new and comfortable.

I though the hike was too long and got a bit boring. David was an excellent guide though. Girona was amazing and would have loved to stay there longer.

Ferran is an excellent guide who clearly loves what he is doing. He took us and another family on this walking tour. The Costa Brava portion is more a nature walk than a hike. It was about 2 hours along a coastal trail and we stopped for 30 minutes on a sandy beach. The scenery was FB/IG worthy and my favorite part was that there are only a few day hikers and almost tourist free. Girona walking tour was informative but unavoidably more touristy. However, Ferran took us to the hidden path behind the cathedral etc. I would highly recommend this tour.

The “Costa Brava and Girona Small Group Tour from Barcelona with Easy Hike” by Mont Escape was a full day excursion. There were only four of us besides our guide Ferran, who was very fluent in English, very knowledgeable about the areas we visited, and made the excursion both highly informative and enjoyable with his running commentary. First, we went to the Costa Brava (Wild Coast) and walked a well-established, easy, but “unimproved” path along the cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. Civilization was all around us but it felt like we were isolated on the rugged Mediterranean shore. The scenery was outstanding. Next, we went on a walking tour of Girona, a vibrant city that still maintains the architecture of its Roman/Middle Ages past in its extensive “old city.” The city is superb and the walking tour was fascinating, both for the historical context and for our physical immersion in the architecture. I totally recommend this tour company/guide and this particular tour as a great way to get out beyond Barcelona and see some of the history of Spain.
