    What to Expect
Take a 2-hour walking tour through the incredible streets of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, stopping along the way to enjoy the neighborhood's amazing architecture and vibrant local culture. Along the way you'll also have the chance to learn about the area's numerous famous buildings and learn about the area's history and people.

Start your walking tour at Barcelona's Plaça Sant Jaume at the time coordinated with the tour operator. Depending on the language of your tour you've chosen and the time of year, your tour may start at either 9:30am, 11:30am or 5pm. From there you'll proceed on foot for an exploration of the Gothic Quarter. During your excursion you'll see some of the city's most famous medieval buildings, like the Plaça del Rei (Royal Palace) and the Palatine chapel of Santa Agata, before taking some time to explore Barcelona's Roman history at the Temple d'August, one of the city's last remaining Roman relics. Giardi, our guide, was excellent; he took the time to explain in detail all the history of the buildings and little streets we walked. I truly recommend this walking tour.

Definitely don't miss out the opportunity to do this tour. Got to see the Roman Wall along with the beautiful Basiliica. We did a chocolate tour and it was divine.

Always a great way to learn of a foreign place. Really very crowded, with other groups mingling together. Watch your pockets!

Do you think if we took the tour and we got to a place that had the steps would he be able to wait outside for us to return? Would he miss much by not going into these places?

We started at 11:00 am. Our guide met us outside the first location. There are multiple times for tours each about 2-3 hours
