José is a very friendly guide and he wants you to have a good time. The first part of the tour, at the old town, was at a very, very calm pace, with intermittent walking and little cycling, but that picked up when we went into Triana. That’s when the cycling and the sightseeing really started, with visits to different neighborhoods and the waterfront. It was wonderful to see the different sides of Las Palmas and we really enjoyed ourselves.

You simply must have done this here. You see Las Palmas from the point of view of Canary José, in my opinion the best ambassador of the island and who knows exactly half of everyone we met on our tour.
A varied tour that everyone can do, with nice stops and many fascinating stories from José, a Canary through and through.
Unfortunately we were not able to follow his tapas tour, but it is highly recommended!

Our guide, José, was a friendly and charming man who seemed to know everybody in Las Palmas.
His tour incorporated the old town, the English section, the beach, the harbour and more.
The Churros with hot chocolate and local coffee in a local market (for locals) was fabulous. The tour was not demanding with lots of stops to highlight the architecture and history of the buildings.
There were very few inclines so even a not so fit person could do it easily providing they can cycle (like my wife).
Thank you again for a fantastic day.
We highly recommend this tour.

A well organised and interesting tour of the city. A fabulous, knowledgeable guide who was very clearly passionate about his island, its culture and its history. Very well shared and verbal feedback given throughout the 4 hour tour. Some great little stops on the way meeting some local people and through that really providing a great engagement opportunity. Your is also 99.5% on the flat so although we do cycle lots if you don’t the route is easily navigated.
Great tour - thoroughly recommended a great host

A great 4 hours spent on the cycle tour around Las Palmas with our guide Jose.
If you want culture, coffee, bananas and smiles then this is the tour for you. We were a group of 6 (4 UK, 1 Spanish, 1 French) and what a great group they were, both friendly and chatty. At the start Jose does a great job with introductions and talking through the plan before easing into the ride. Visiting all of the main points of interest and with lots of stops inc coffee, toilets, drinks. You don’t need to be super fit as nearly all of the ride is on the flat. The bikes are fine but the ‘bottom/bum’ does ache toward the end 😂.
And finally Jose who does a fabulous job. His passion and pride in Las Palmas and Gran Canaria is evident in the way he shares his stories, so lovely to hear. He is clearly very well known and liked in the area as there were numerous handshakes, cuddles and shouts as we rode through the streets of Las Palmas.
We are delighted we did the tour.

Had an amazing guided tour with Jose, including 2 tapas tastings. He gave us a fantastic tour including lots of information on the history and explanations of the different districts in his city.
