Itinerary
- 1An easy and very nice hiking tour. This tour has for us the three most important things what you are looking for in this kind of trip ... Nice views wonderful scenery A real history
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Mat3ja0 contributionsDisappointedThe tour was unfortunately nothing as described in previous reviews. Very basic input from the guide. I would not recommend it.Written 26 January 2020
- AngelaKML0 contributionsA pleasant and memorable tripYou can see many wonders of nature, including the sea, the beaches and the incredible mountains. Each of the following places surprises and is more beautiful than the previous one. Well organized and good guide work by AngelWritten 13 December 2019
- Dirk B0 contributionsA very personal visitOur guide Angel made our day a very personal visit to Tenerife island. With expert knowledge he took us to all the spaces you would never visit on your own. We never ran into the heards of tourists shuffled around in buses but on the country had tapas in a local bar with delicious food and a late lunch in a restaurant where the locals also came to eat. Obviously we saw the laurel forest and drove extensively around in Mount Teide national park. An unforgettable day with tons of postcard quality pictures to keep on living this VIP experience.Written 2 December 2019

- Marcy d0 contributionsThey don't tell you to bring a sweater or provide an umbrellaOnly after the tour guide picked us up did they tell us that it would be cold in certain parts of the island. They did not tell us we should have brought a coat or umbrella. During the tour it started to rain and they did not provide any umbrellas, but still continued the walking tour through the city in the cold pouring rain. The tour should have indicated on the tour description that we should bring a sweater and an umbrella on this tour. Apparently on the island it can be warm and sunny in one part, and cold and rainy in another. Something the tour guide obviously knew, because she had a jacket and told us how she was prepared for the weather because she dressed in layers. Had we known this, we would've dressed accordingly, or at the very least, brought a sweater with a hood. Instead, we walked through a city in cold pouring rain in our t-shirts and shorts.Written 21 October 2019
- ZumbaGoldDeb0 contributionsA great tour with a great guideWe visited Tenerife in October 2019, and booked a tour with Mas de Treinta Tenerife. Our guide and driver, Angell, arrived on time. He was friendly, well informed, funny and interesting. We really appreciated his company during the day. He knew his stuff and we learnt a great deal about the island. I would highly recommend this tour company.Written 16 October 2019
- mtravel270 contributionsNice place to visitThe day of our arrival to Tenerife was a little bit stressful we took a plane from Madrid and the airline didn’t mentioned we needed to pick up the bags at an specific area at the airport designated for international passengers, and that caused a little bit of stress in addition to that once inside the airport it was not clear where we needed to get the bus for the Budget car rental and that caused some extra stress and time (and I do speak Spanish). Besides that we loved the trip. The weather was perfect, people was very friendly, we felt very safe, the food was delicious. We had a wonderful time. I would go back to TenerifeWritten 6 October 2019
- Mathyew0 contributionsVery InterestingI stopped to visit the pyramids on the way back north after a drive south. They were very interesting with a nice museum and gift shop next door. I knew nothing about the pyramids so enjoyed the short movie about them, visiting the museum and learning about the involvement of Thor Heyerdahl. Very much worth visiting in my opinion.Written 15 September 2019
- lwhelan730 contributionsBreathtaking hillside location with remarkable pyramidsLoved this site, we drove in rental car from Amarilla Golf resort, straight forward coastal drive apart from the last few miles which brought us through a beautiful litle town. Pyramids stunning and gardens with 360 views up to mountains and down to sea. Kontiki and Thor Heyerdahl exhibition my favourite part with great audio visual show. The site is truly mysterious and awe inspiring.Written 3 September 2019
- Jennifer H0 contributionsGreat travel guideOur travel guide was the best! He gave a great overview on the tour! He was delivered an excellent experience!Written 11 May 2019
- GrahamGrape0 contributionsUnbelievableThis was very unexpected. I have visited South America to see stepped pyramids and other exotic places, this is some what closer to home. The whole complex is an education itself. I strayed upon this place on my last day, being the last thing I did. This will give you some idea that these were not alone, how we are all inter-related. It takes a Norwegian archaeologist to find this out.Written 9 January 2019
- genadig20170 contributionsWasting a timeThe worst museum in Tenerife. It is totally unknown when the piramides were built or who built them. I would say a fake piramides made to gather tourist's money. The information in the museum is appropriate for a 10 year old boy. They start from all piramides around the Globe pass through Oceania&Easter island tribes, then toxic plants and almost noting specific for Tenerife itself. Nothing to remember with pleasure.Written 27 November 2018
- Alison P0 contributionsTurtles and Tiede. Totally fantastic dayFrom the moment that Angel collected us from our hotel we had one of the best days out for holiday experiences ever. We had booked the Tenerife by land and sea private tour and from the start the service was excellent. Booking was easy and even a change of day was met with no hassle. We started with a trip to Los Gigantes which wasn't originally on the tour but in our host and drivers word. "We were too close to miss out" we then visited a local cafe for traditional delicious Canary coffee then up we went to the most amazing trip up Tiede stopping at every great viewpoint with lots of fascinating information given. Plenty of time to take photos and soak in the landscape which was nothing we had ever seen before. We stopped at a very informative centre with a great film explaining everything about the formation of Tenerife with scary lava devil thrown in for good measure. A vey windy journey through beautiful forest brought us down to sea level. Then after a journey back to the south of the island came a trip to a small local beach to meet Daniel and the lovely translator who took us snorkelling with the hope of meeting a few turtles. The photo below shows that they certainly delivered and all three of us had the chance to swim for about 45 mins in the beautiful clear bay with amazing sea turtles. What an experience. The whole day was a joy and we are still smiling thank you Angel you deliver superb service at a brilliant price and you create the best memoriesWritten 19 July 2016
- Kimberly S0 contributionsA fantastic tour of TenerifeTenerife was one of our ports of call on a June 2016 cruise. We opted to book a private day tour so that we could see as much of the island as possible. We were so glad we did. Our guide was waiting for us as we exited the ship. He was incredibly friendly and was very knowledgeable about the area. Our trip went from the tropical coast to a beautiful forest and finally to Mt. Teide -- one of the largest island volcanoes in the world. The views were stunning. Throughout the tour, we had plenty of stops to stretch our legs and take pictures. The day ended with a thrilling snorkeling trip with sea turtles before being brought back to the cruise ship. It was a perfect day, and I highly recommend this tour.Written 20 June 2016
