Mountains, Villages, and a Hidden Beach Day Tour from Palma
US$ 90.05
Escape the hustle and bustle of Palma on a day’s hiking excursion in the Mallorcan countryside. Hike along historic trails, explore a rural village, and discover a hidden beach, while gaining insight into traditional Mallorcan life from your guide. Make the most of your day with an authentic, locally sourced lunch included, and unwind with a dip in the ocean or a lounge on the beach.
What to Expect

Meet your guide on Plaza Espana in Palma and board the local bus (fare included) that will take you to the starting point for your hike. As you’ll be walking natural terrain, it’s advisable to wear comfortable footwear, and pack your swimsuit for a dip in the sea.

On arrival, leave the bus and begin your gentle hike along a mountain trail, admiring the landscape and discovering its history and biogeography from your guide as you stroll. Reach the village of Serra de Tramuntana, and explore with your guide to learn more about its Arabic influences and rural traditions.

Head to a secluded beach, popular with locals. Here, pause for an authentic Mallorcan lunch of empanadas and cocas de trampó (flatbread with vegetables), followed by pastries like gató and ensaimadas. Relax with a swim in the Mediterranean or sunbathe on the shore, before catching the local bus back into Palma, where your tour concludes.

We had Marialaura as our guide. She did an amazing job introducing us to a different side of Mallorca. Be prepared to photograph some beautiful panoramas. We had some typical Spanish/Mallorcan dishes on the highest point of the trail. We even picked some fresh fruits...More

Very happy with how this guided hike turned out. Our guide David was superb, friendly and also sent us an email after the trip with details on what other activities we could do in Mallorca. The hike will require a moderate amount of fitness but...More

Your kids should be fine. It’s wide path- wide enough for a car to drive on, however there are several steep drops along the way. Just watch your kids, make sure they don’t stray off the path. The views along the hike are... More

We left at 9am. It took about 6 hours to complete the tour. I am sure the guide can work on a shorter itinerary for you.
