- Roving6062704022800fun for all ages, family orientated, makes you feel like a kid and you won’t regret anythingi took so many photos and shared them with friends. despite not knowing the process of how to make the lego due to my family not speaking german, the experience was awesome. it makes me (a gcse student) feel like a kid again. we didn’t have to wait at all to go onto all the rides and gaining a free lego block was awesome. its fun for all ages, girls and boys. loved every second of it. the stamp hunt was also a great idea for younger children who wants to get stuff over and done with. it makes you have a look around the centre. 1000000/10 worth going.
- richardp42400Legoland discoverySchool holidays and a what should we do moment......... Legoland in Oberhausen👍👍👍👍 50 minutes in the car and with parking easy to find it didnt take long before we were queuing up in the reserved online ticket que. Once through the check in procedure (took rather a long time) and we were into the start of the discovery journey. Our five year old son loved this place. The language is definitely German the whole day with not much effort to speak in English or other languages, but for the kids it-does not make the day any less enjoyable. From the mini lego room to the race corner where all sorts of weird and wonderful designs were being created by inventive kids and dads of course😉😉😉 To the 4d cinema that showed throughout the day six lego films (lego city and lego ninja go) good fun. The ninja training room was also a big hit. There was also a lego learning room where the kids could follow a trainer and make certain things. We were there for about 4.5 hours which was plenty of time to do everything. Food was ok and not too expensive. I would recommend to all. Enjoy.
- MaartenB_1100Pleasant experienceFirst time Lego theme park visit with my two young kids (3 and 5) and it was a success! A kot of different things to do for everybody! It's definitely recommended to order your tickets online beforehand, you save money and a lot of time getting in. Downsides of the park are that it's all inside so no fresh air no and then and when the kids are older than 10 years old, they'll probably lose interest because of limited challenge of the activities for that age and up. We'll are definitely going back!
- Johnny1903900Rather disappointing! In front of the entrance of the building you are greeted by a big Lego giraffe, which is not really clean and where one or the other Lego brick has broken off. So, as the saying goes.... the first impression is always important. A high-pressure cleaner would work wonders. All persons older than three years have to pay $20 entrance fee. That is the normal entrance fee. There are also discounted tickets with worthwhile reductions, but a visit is altogether too expensive for what is offered. If one books the tickets on the internet and prints them out, then strangely enough, one has to wait very long at the entrance. When we arrived with three persons, there was only one employee who checked the tickets and as nearly all of the people had their own tickets printed out, there was a respective long line. Those who bought the tickets on the spot entered Legoland immediately. In a gathering room, one first has to wait while standing before getting to a pseudo Lego brick factory where nothing is really produced. Then there is a strange shooting game for everyone in which you point and shoot with handguns at various objects while sitting in a moving vehicle. This is a pedagogically very questionable attraction for the very young target group of Legoland. After that one sees houses and objects built out of Lego bricks which represent sights from the closer neighborhood in the Ruhr District. Here and there there are some piles of Lego bricks, which don't really encourage to build anything. A so-called 3D cinema is characterized by the fact that the picture on the screen is blurred with 3D glasses or without. All in all, the visit of this facility is rather disappointing. It is very small and totally overcrowded, so that the adults can hardly find a place to sit down anywhere. One has to take care that one finds one's child among the crowds. Moreover, in many places, there is still an extra charge. For example for massage chairs. For photos that are taken of you without asking…. and so on. Right at the exit, one unfortunately discovers lockers in which one could have kept coats and bags. As hardly any of the visitors know about their existence, there are clothes and luggage of the visitors lying around everywhere. The exit is through a Lego shop, where you can potentially get rid of even more money.
- teodork13700Double standart and ruin our vacationHe wasn't let in, because Annika (legoland) said he hasn't 105cm, anyway she let in another German speaking girl as tall as him.
- Julian011100Too expensive and quite smallEntering the building I was quite impressed. The kids are told how lego stones are made and each kid gets a little lego stone for free. After that you'll ride in a little dragon coraousels and you need to shoot bad lego skulls etc. Quite fun, even though this experience can easily get scary for smaller children. So far so good. The "Lego World" itself was quite small. Way smaller than I thought. Also too many people where packed in this - what seemed like - a bigger room. As kids run around constantly and parents are waiting, the seating area was way too small. The offered food in the small restaurant can only be calles fast food - and thats already a nice description. All in all I was quite disappointed. The only reason I give three stars is, that in the end the kids had a good day which is the most important stuff!
- ilans14500Give up the show and go to the mallIf you are in the east side of Holland and you want to have quality shopping it is the best to go to cetr0 in the city of Oberhausen Germany Only 1.5h of driving by car but it is worth it. The parking is free and easy to park In the mall you have various fashion things from cheap to high fashion for kids and adults We liked it - we can for the LEGO and we stayed for the mall
- nihan1972196900For childrenIf you are in the town and would like to spend some time with your children and as well as for the younger ones this place is an ideal place to kill some time and also entertain them at the same time
- GuppeC00Fun for young (and old)Lego, Lego and Lego... it is all about Lego and Ninjago was the theme. They created a mission around NInjago, and kept all entertained for several hours. Worth a visit. Also here... there are more languages in the world besides German.
- Dindian00Good outing for the kidsA lot of activities for the kids. Book online for a discount. Kids and grand parents enjoyed it. Spent two to three hours there effortlessly
- Wim74700Legoland, not more then a big lego storeIts small witj mostly lego built tables ans some small attractions built around it. Only verbal explanations in German language. Waist of money if the children are older then 6 and are not German
- Jacqueline C00Good for kidsGreat place to go with kids. Our kids where a little bit too young but will go back when they are bigger! Lots of stuff to do, building with big and small lego blocks. See beautiful lego city and go to the 3d cinema. Buy your tickets online as it’s cheaper. The only thing that is not so great and a bit expensive is the food.

- Jo H00Bad....Awful.....should advertise NOT a legoland just a place to show u how Lego is made!!!!! Total waste of time and money
- nmuzaini00Nice but smallIts a lovely humble place to attend but very expensive for an indoor compact place! My son 8 and i were expecting more rides! We enjoyed everything but wanted more and to be honest outdoor in the fresh cool air. More games i suggest.

We have been here before, and again we spent a nice day ( 4 hours!) at this Lego center with 3 girls in the age of 5, 6, 8 years. It was not crowded at all, no queues, and we liked the relaxed athmosphere. Should really go with young childeren (till 9 years old), who will enoy the playground and small attractions.

We spent 90 min waiting in line while people where going in...they have a very weird system with tickets bought on line, or priority or group and if you wait to buy a ticket it takes for ever.
Exactly as you are queuing to get in the most popular night club, and you wait 90 min while friends of the owner or the bouncer go in...only this one happens during the day
They need to increase capacity and rearrange the ticket system

This "fun" park seems like a sarcastic version of a fun park. While I was there I kept asking myself whether the management of LEGO knows that something like this exists because this "discovery center" is everything but fun.
Many broken off lego pieces and spider webs on the not always working fun games tell the tale. Everything seems so semi-professional that in middle of our visit I wondered whether we were part of one of these surprise shows.
After you wait at the entrance, especially when you preordered your ticket, you have to wait again in front of a "magic" gate. Once the door opens you enter a so called lego pieces construction workshop. First thing you hear before the "Welcome" - Do not touch the buttons! Then after a while you realize that there are no pieces produced at all. You can still see the glue on the Lego pieces on the production line. It is just so fake.
Then there is a ride during which the participants have to shoot with laserpointers at some targets and get some points for that. That was awful! The wooden model trains at home arouse more action and more fun and much more speed than this ride.
Then you get to see some dusty Lego models which might have been nice to look at 20 years ago. After that room you enter the "main hall". There is a playground that looked so exciting that my son did not even want to try it out.
You can build Lego cars and have them race against each other on a ramp. Wow!
The 4d cinema is 4d because wind blows in your face and water is sprayed on you. Your seats do not move, the atmosphere is like watching a football match in a tent at the Oktoberfest and the movie we saw, was more like a commercial for this very same Lego discovery center.
A while after opening, about 20 minutes, the "main hall" was crowded and kids were everywhere. When you wanted to have conversation you had to scream at the top of your lungs.
At every corner you can spend even more money at vending machines that sell popcorn, drinks, stuff, stuff and stuff.
The only thing that is professional at this place is the exit through a giant lego store.
This place is a ripoff. Do not go there unless you want to find out how long you can stand the pain. I have never seen such an unbelievable wreck of a "fun park" or indoor playground.

This organization is utterly ridiculous! Please go with your kids somewhere else. The waiting time is endless. No information what so ever, calling them is pointless because nobody picks up.
