Overview
With so much street art in Berlin, it can be tricky to find the best pieces. Save time by having a guide take you straight to the city’s must-see artwork. On this immersive walking tour, decorate the walls of an abandoned factory and make artwork to take home. A small group size means plenty of time to ask questions as your guide provides commentary along the way.

Highlights
  • Small-group tour limited to 20 people: plenty of personal attention
  • Street-art tour shows you the work of over 50 artists
  • Learn about the art’s historical context, and the techniques used
  • Go to a graffiti workshop and create your own artwork to take home
What to Expect
Your day starts by meeting your guide (a street/graffiti artist) in a central location. As you walk, you are told about the history of Berlin’s street art scene and the different styles and techniques prominent in the city. The tour opens your eyes to the work of more than 50 local and international artists such as ROA, Ema Jones, and Blue. Having a guide with you helps you understand the context of the work and the varied techniques used, such as tags, heaven spots, stencil art, burners, installations, and much more. After you’ve seen the work of famous artists and learned about techniques, you get to the fun part—getting hands-on and trying it for yourself. Visit an abandoned factory and have a chance to paint the walls with your own street art. The day ends with creating your own souvenir canvas.

We drove from Alexanderplatz with the subway to the RAW area where you can find one of the very sweet spots of Street Art in Berlin. The area used to be abandoned, and artists all around the world came to show their style of painting. Some illegal and most of them legally.

The tour was fabulous introduced us to some amazing street art and it’s meaning. Taken by Rob who was very knowledgeable about his subject. Then he was able to show his artistic skills in the studio and even managed to help us create our own spray art.

Our tour guide was amazing, made everyone feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour, the graffiti workshop is really fun to do. But I do recommend bringing some food with you since the tour is quite long and you don't really get time to get food

The guide knew a lot, walking distances where good. Only keep in mind you have to buy a ticket for the bus cause the tour is a little out of the center of Berlin. The graffiti clas after the tour was really cool to do. I'm not an artsy person but was proud of what I made thanks

My favorite part was making art in the awesome studio. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun, flexible and easy-going. I highly recommend the tour as you get an entirely different experience of Berlin, and it helps you to understand the proliferation of graffiti in the city.
