    We had a nice experience with Henry strolling through the Hauptstrasse, discussing the town`s history, exploring the hidden gems of Altstadt, and hiking up to the castle. Excellent tour to kick start your Heidelberg experience.

    There are either 333 steps up to the Castle or a walk up a fairly steep path that takes you through the garden too. Average fitness is required. Alternatively one can take the funicular railway up to the Castle.
