Great way to see the wine country in a half a day!
Really enjoyed this tour! We visited three tasting rooms, two of which were very quaint and had very good wine. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we did not feel pressured to make big wine purchases. Would highly recommend this tour!

Fun tour and great intro to southern Rhône wines and region.
Our tour guide Anna was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about the wines of the southern Rhône region. The tour was a great way to explore it.

      Fantastic Wine Tour with Gordana!
We had an amazing time on Gordana’s wine tour through Châteauneuf-du-Pape. She was incredibly communicative, energetic, and made the experience feel exclusive and tailored to us. Gordana’s deep knowledge and passion for wine really stood out, and we learned so much while having a fantastic time. If you’re looking for a fun and informative wine tour, she’s the perfect guide. Highly recommended!

      Gorgeous time! Gorgeous wine!
Anne was an angel! She made the experience a fabulous one! The amount of stops, information and variety of wine was worth the money! While we stop at each winery Anne was very knowledgable, accommodating and we won’t forget about the lovely photos she took of us! Highly recommend, great for couples and friends, perfect to meet a small group of people with a similar interest of wine!

      Natalie was a pleasure!
The trip was a delight, full of history and wine. We really enjoyed all elements from the Roman theatre and aquaduxt to the wine tasting. Although we hadn’t planned on buying any wine we decided on 3 bottles for future family special occasions. Natalie was a wonderful host, she was warm and engaging but also informative and knowledgeable, likewise the wine specialist colleague!

      Best wine tasting
Our guide Ann is the best! She shares local knowledge about the wine and area, also insight about Avignon and life and culture here. All people i met at winery are down to earth, you just know their focus is really just about wine snd not seeing wine as one small part of big entertainment. Renaud from Le boutiniere is 4 months into the job, bit you can see he is making every effort there. I totally enjoyed this tour, best wine tasting!

      Wine tasting near Avignon
Anne gave a great tour! Tons of interesting information on the region, tours of wines, soil, history and much more. We went to three wineries, a chocolate store and stopped a few times for pictures along the way! It was the perfect day. We actually stayed in Arles and took the train to Avignon. Very easy to do. Doing the half day tour is a must!

Ann is an amazing tour guide! She's funny and patient. What I love most about this tour is she leaves free time at each spot. Highly recommend~

      Really good itinerary
Great itinerary to visit the Roman theater in Orange, then Chateauneuf du Pape itself and nearby vineyard followed by the Roman aqueduct now bridge Pont du Gard! The particular guide however focused on the topic of local wine production and wines about 80% of the time. Pity because she clearly knows a lot about the sites and their history and it would have been good to learn more than we did.

      French and Roman architecture galore!
Our guide showed us three lovely parts of the French countryside (Nimes, Uzes and Pont du Gard). The five hour tour was well balanced with history and sightseeing but your experience may vary if the group is large (we had two total guests which was lovely). 6 hours would have been ideal because Uzes has a lovely restaurant area that would have been great for a lunch break along the tour! There was an opportunity to get sandwiches, ice cream, etc at Pont du Gard. Great time and definitely recommend the tour! Thank you Anne!

      Only time for photos.
This is a very fast-paced tour with insufficient time to enjoy the different areas visited. If you are happy spending most of your time on a bus and only getting off for a quick photo stop, it's fine. We didn't even get an opportunity to purchase anything in Nimes. A short coffee stop would have been appreciated. No food or drinks are included, the AU$135 ticket is very overpriced for the tour. It was lucky we went on a Wednesday as the markets were on in Uzes, otherwise, the stop wouldn't have been long enough for lunch in a restaurant. The guide was fine but the history she shared was memorised from the plaques we read at each venue we visited. She wasn't enthusiastic or interested in tailoring the tour to the people on it. I think the current price should include a tour inside the Roman amphitheatre. And potentially flip the itinerary so you start with the Pont du Gard and finish with the Jardin.

      Wonderful day in Provence
Recently took a full day tour w/ Time 4 Provence and we can highly recommend them. Nathalie was our guide and she was wonderful. We worked together to create an itinerary mixing her recommendations with some things we wanted to see. Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Chateauneuf du Pape, and Pont du Gard. Very easy to correspond with, communication was great, she had her timing down on everything. Again, highly recommended!

      Lovely tour but too rushed
Natalie was friendly and informative. The tour started on time. Her driving and organisational skills excellent. We were able to see three lovely historic towns and stop at a Lavender Field. However, visits to the towns, especially Gordes & Rossillon were too rushed. As public transport is not available to Gordes, and if you do not have a car, a tour is the only option to see that historic town. Recommend tour is advertised as finishing at 3 PM not 2 PM and that the Gordes stop is for a morning tea break of at least one hour. Similarly in Rossillon in order to have lunch, take the ochre rock walk and view the town, at least one and a half hours is recommended.

      Great experience! Bring snacks.
We had a great time on this wine tasting trip! Beautiful scenery and very friendly and knowledgeable guides. We probably tried 10-15 wines total and definitely felt we got our money’s worth! We bought a few bottles to enjoy later! Our only constructive criticism would be to add any sort of food to the tour. After 5 hours of drinking wine with nothing but water we were all a little worse for wear! I recommend bringing snacks.

Wow! Hard to pick a favorite because every minute was amazing. Gordana is wonderful and so knowledgeable. She not only knows all the history but tells some great stories about the sites and the region. And as a bonus she was a delight to spend time with. With 17 years of touring experience in Provence you must choose Time 4 Provence to truly gain some understanding and appreciation of the region. And we have a new friend in France! C'est magnifique!!

Anne was so patient and clever. She not only called us when we got confused on how to park in Avignon, but helped us find a free parking spot nearby and also helped me retrieve a lost wallet. The rest of the day was magical with beautiful and extraordinary Provence cities and time and space enough to get a taste of each one. She also gave us wonderful tips on things to notice and where to find the best lavender ice cream. She took on the driving challenges and dropped us right on the edge of most places allowing us to explore on our own. Only in St. Remy and at the Pont du Garde did she stay with us to make sure we didn't miss any highlights. She balanced her conversations while driving, sharing interesting history and cultural notes with allowing us to nap a bit after out lunch on the way to Baux. We recommend her highlights of Provence trip highly. Worth every Euro!

Excellent guide. Apart from showing us some highlights of Provence she created a warm ambience within the group (three couples who met at the start of the outing). My only negative comment would be that I could have used more time at Fontaine de Vaucluse and a bit less in Rousillon.

Our guide Gordana was wonderful, with a super fun personality and such a vast knowledge of the history relevant to the areas we visited and Provence in general, gained from living there for 30 years. I even find myself referring back to things she said while writing in my journal about our experiences. She was also very willing to take our questions and accommodate requests within reason (i.e., making a stop in central Gordes and also at the Roman arch in St. Remy).

More of a transportation trip than anything else. In villages like Rousillon and Gordes there was just not enough time to properly explore. At one point you'll have to choose between lunch or continuing your village visit. By the time we got to Pont du Gard, everybody was so exhausted that the simple walk across the bridge or down to the river became a small struggle. But you do see a lot of the countryside. In summer there is lavender and on weekends the Ilse sur Sorgue art and craft market.

Hello I would like to know the name of your guide please ! We provide a lots of information and also it's fun. I don't think you came with Time 4 Provence. But also, to visit properly Provence you need a whole month. We try to do our best in one day without rushing . Some of other companies does the same tour in a shorter time. Kind regards Gordana

I thought about renting a car, but I found this tour. It was a small group, and being mid November, the towns weren't crowded. Our guide was very outgoing and knowledgeable. I recommend doing this tour on your first full day in the area, then you can use the train or bus to revisit if you want more time. Only complaint: I left my water bottle in our hotel because the description stated that water would be provided, but it wasn't.

Our experience with Gordana echoes that of many previous reviewers: absolutely excellent! Her English is quite good which just made our day that much more enjoyable. We saw many amazing sights, which we would not have been able to see because we don't want to rent a car, and learned so much at each one. As it turned out, the other participants on the tour canceled in the morning, so my husband and I had her all to ourselves. Lots of fun conversations in the car and walking along. The only thing that would have made the tour better would be if she had been able to join us on the walk to the Fountain of Vaucluse ( to give more commentary) and walking with us through Les Baux, but because of parking issues, she wasn't able to do that and had to drop us off to walk through by ourselves. We weren't able to find a way to get a good picture of Les Baux, so she drove us to a perfect spot to get a good shot. She was so accommodating and friendly and it was clear she loves her work. If you can, join Gordana for one of her tours, you will be glad you did. She gave us some restaurant recommendations and when we had meals there, loved the food.

Our driver, Natalie was awesome. She spoke English and would repeat herself to make sure everyone understood. She was attentive to details and the group’s desires. She gave great information about the area. It was a long day but a lot of territory was covered. I felt that all of the stops were well timed for breaks and for spending sone time walking around. The hillside views were amazing and i can never see enough of them. pont du Gard is overwhelming and can not be appreciated from a photo….spectacular!

My husband and I really enjoyed this trip that went to several key Provence landmarks. Beyond the magnificent sites, truly, what made the trip extra special was our tour guide Gordana. She brought lively information to our group in the minivan about each stop. She wove connections between the unique geography and how it impacted life in each of the small villages. Her energy was delightful and infectious and made our day extra special. She had a knack for bringing all of us strangers together to feel like close friends by the end of the day. As we wrapped up our tour, the group on the minivan gave Gordana a well-deserved round of applause. I may not remember all of the facts presented on this tour, but I’ll definitely remember the love for Provence that Gordana showed us.

Fantastic tour with the wonderful Gordana! A perfect amount of time for each stop in some countryside villages with breathtaking views. Gordana is extremely passionate about the region, gives a great summary of its history and culture and answers any questions you may have. Highly recommended!
