Our group booked 1 gravel bike and 5 e-bikes.
The gravel bike was spot on, and was well able for all road surfaces as we cycled to various spots - Aigues Mortes, Sete and Pic Saint-Loup.
The e-bikes were very impressive, with batteries capable of over 100km range, smartphone holder on the handlebars and storage bags - enjoyed by the riders.
The service provided was excellent, friendly and professional. Nothing was an issue, and when we had an issue, service was provided on the route with no cost involved.
Overall, this was a great experience for us all, and we will be recommending them to our friends and acquaintances.

We rented 2 electric bicycles to cycle to the sea. They were good bikes, but we were especially impressed by the super friendly and helpful staff! We had some difficulty finding our way back (due to work in the city) and therefore arrived back at the rental company about five minutes after closing time. Notwithstanding, the staff remained really friendly and understanding. He also helped us out during our trip, with a smile! In short, we are very satisfied with the service and the bicycles.

Excellent support from rental agency, which does everything except peddle for you and the bikes made the trip easy and pleasant. We ventured to the Palavas des Flots beach on the pedestrian bike path on the Lez in Montpellier. The bike path is easy to locate and the bike rental provides simple instructions and if that's not enough just refer to google maps. It was warm weather so the ebikes were appreciated and these were trouble free and sufficiently powered to handle what few hills there were. The same route, by the way will enable you to go to Sete, if that's of interest to you. Yet it's somewhat further than our trip, so ensure that the ebike's battery can handle that distance or use less battery, since much of the route is flat although you might run into a head wind. This is a must if you enjoy the outdoors and the scenery is splendid enough

We were looking for a place to rent bikes for a trip to the beach from Montpellier and came across this place. The service was excellent and we had a wonderful trip (with classic bikes) down to the beach (Palavas). Two days later we decided to head for another longer trip to Aigues-Mortes using e-bikes this time. Again, the staff were very friendly and recommended the ideal e-bike for the journey.

Rented 2 e-bikes. Staff was very helpful and bi-lingual. Helmets and locks provided. Smart phone map with the entire route was a plus. First time on e-bikes and took some getting used to. Partner had a mishap and the company was able to assist, for which we were very grateful.

Hired two bikes this week , unfortunately had a puncture 10 mins into ride , staff from the shop were with us within 20 mins to replace wheel and off we went.
Great service from a friendly team of staff who were patient to listen to my attempt at speaking French!
I’m addition the rate of hire is very reasonable , so in all, highly recommended .

The shop was easy to find with great markings, the employee was friendly and helpful. The bike route directions were super as long as you have a smart phone and know how to use your GPS.

We rented 2 ebikes for the day. The service was great, they spoke English and adjusted our bikes as needed. They also have some pre-planned routes on Googlemaps that I highly recommend.

Rented 2 e-bikes last week and couldn't be happier about the service delivered by Smile E-bike. We had no problems whatsoever with the e-bikes, very good quality. We cycled from Montpellier to Aigues-Mortes and did about 80-90km in one day without any problem and we still had some battery left when we came back.
The guy who helped us couldn't be nicer, he even went out of his way so we could return the bikes even after closing time. Would definitely recommend renting bikes here and we will come back for our next visit to Montpellier!
