- T5604CAerich0 contributionsBurned againI just continue to be disappointed in my bookings through Viator. Unfortunately, they seem to have a monopoly on these kind of activities. This particular try, which I reluctantly booked, found us standing in a ridiculously long line trying to board a boat where we were not guaranteed inside seating on a 32 degree day. I asked for a refund but was rejected. To be fair, I really don't know how much Viator has to do with that decision, but that's where the denial came from. This is the second time this year I've been burned by this booking company (the last one the transportation came 90 minutes late and we were denied a refund on that one too). I'm going to continue to try my best to avoid what seems to be a ruthless company - no doubt extracting a substantial sum from the actual businesses in all this.Written 28 December 2024
- Mandy A0 contributionsNot worth itIf travelling with young children / older people - I wouldn’t recommend this river cruise - waited a total of 2 hours before we boarded - then only once we got really close, we heard due to excess rain in the last few days (I was there 2 days before attending cruise) top deck was closed / tide was high and the trip is being reduced and not entering the centre of Paris due to this (not an issue, as weather isn’t in our control - so they say!!!) - the cruise didn’t live up too expectations - though boat was very clean and warm - sitting to look and people outside in front of your view made it uneventful - the descriptions weren’t the best!! I would actually recommend paying a little more and trying alternative cruiseWritten 28 December 2024

- 754tejald0 contributionsBeautiful boat, wonderful views and great food/service.I booked this lunch cruise for my sisters birthday. We were welcomed on by friendly staff. We booked the privilege service and we got a nice table by the window. The boat was clean and felt fancy. The four course meal was fantastic. I eat meat and the haddock with the potato soup was amazing, the duck a l'orange was incredible. My sister is vegetarian and she really enjoyed the veggie options. The staff bought out my sister's pudding with a sparkler in and sang her happy birthday which I didn't ask him to do, it was a nice touch to the whole experience. The toilets were clean. The entire trip felt wonderful, great views, wonderful French food and even a photographer on-board with prints for an extra fee. The only thing, which is minor, that could have improved the trip was to be told what landmarks we were passing. I had google maps open on the table so I could see what the nice buildings were. Overall, would absolutely recommend. A lovely warm way to see the sites in winter!Written 23 December 2024
- garymO2476NA0 contributionsVery DisappointingVery disappointing. Firstly, our tickets were purchased through Attraction Tickets but when we went to the kiosk we were asked to email our ticket confirmation to the kiosk. Don't know what we would have done if we had no internet or our phone package meant we couldn't use internet in France. Secondly, some of the audio sets inside the boat did not work, when we eventually found one that did work it was intermittent. Listening to the audio was made even more difficult by the background music being played. We wouldn't recommend Bateaux Parisiens.Written 19 December 2024
- O6235XCnatalied0 contributionsDon't recommend with childrenThe queues where ridiculous I wouldn't recommend with children as they are so long we didn't end up going on the boat as it was unrealistic to wait 1 hour plus in a queue when you have prepaid I would book when you arrive as there is plenty of boats with short queues unsure of the actual experience of the boatWritten 18 December 2024

My husband and I chose to take this dinner cruise our first night in Paris. It was enjoyable, the waitress was sweet, the food was pretty good and the views were nice but there was not much else. They played jazz music over the speakers and we rode 30 minutes down the river and 30 minutes back. The only thing you could really see was the Eiffel Tower. We paid extra to be in a window seat but the boat was pretty empty the night we went and could have easily been in a “non window” seat without an obstructed view. It was nice but I would not pay $200 to do it again.

I enjoyed this experience in the premium class as a great romantic experience. It is especially wonderful if you or your significant other have not seen Paris before. We enjoyed the experience being in the fully glass surrounded part of the boat -- this is the most premium experience, but felt definitely worth it.

Last year we had a reservation for a river dinner cruise by the Bateaux Parisien. We arrive there and were quickly welcome to our ship, the Zodiac. The food was excellent,
salads, main course, dessert, wines, all of them with a magnificent presentation proper of the French Cuisine. There were two singers with live music, performing the most relevant French songs ever sung. I strongly recommend the Bateaux Parisien to anyone who visits Paris and wants to have a very special Parisian experience.

I booked this tour three months in advance and this was the most anticipated event for my trip to Paris. I booked the premier dinner cruise, guaranteeing seating at the front of the boat (just under $500 for two adults). Three factors contributed to my one star review.
First, upon being seated, the romantic ambiance was immediately ruined by a table of 14 terribly obnoxious American visitors. They were so loud that we asked our waiter if there was any way we could be moved prior to departure. Our concerns were completely dismissed.
Second, for a $500 dinner cruise, I expected to be seated at the window. In fact, our table was the only one out of all the premier tables that was not situated at a window, even though we arrived 45 minutes earlier than the other premier patrons and we ALL paid the exact same price.
These first two issues could be completely overlooked if it were not for issue number three—our table was right smack IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AISLE where the waiters walk back and forth!! Each time a waiter walked between tables, not only did our ENTIRE table shake, but the waiters bumped into the back of my chair 100% of the time. I attempted to move the table as far out of the way as possible to give the waiters more space for the aisle, but the waiters continued to bump and trip over us the whole time. I was very stressed out and this truly ruined the experience for me. I would not recommend this dinner cruise to anyone who is considering it.

We went there with some expectations.
The reception was very friendly and well organized.
We had a very nice table in the front of the boat with great view.
The waiter was very nice and entertaining.
The live singer was annoying by her incapacity to sing.
The food was what is to be expected in this type of tourist venue, pre-cooked not exceptional, exception made for the sea bass and the steak which were very good.
The big disappointment was the cruise, because of the weather we went to Boulogne rather than the city, very very boring. We were happy when it finished.
It was raining and we asked for a taxi, the answer was to wait for one outside (under pouring rain....)
For the money paid, definitely not worth it

We booked this place for my birthday dinner and it was terrible!! We spent over 300 euros.
On the day, they told us the water was high so we were taking a different route... meaning we didnt see ANY sights apart from the eiffel tower (because the boat docks next to it), and the statue of liberty. We were given some vouchers for another cruise... someone told us its worth 100 euros, but then the waiter told us it's just a regular sight seeing cruise. Also, we left Paris the following morning and they told us to return to Paris to use the tickets another day!!! WOW.
The service was awful, and we often had to ask the waiter a few times for something. E.g. I asked if they have tea, he said he will find out, 20 mins later I had to ask him if he found out. They did not have tea, but he didn't even bother coming back to let me know.
And the food is TERRIBLE. It is like airplane food, except airplane food is better. And it's also not 6 courses. The 2 starters come together, as do the 2 mains and 2 desserts. The flavours were not balanced. If a course was sweet, it tasted like pure sugar. If it was creamy, it tasted over the top of cream.
As a big foodie, I definitely recommend to not waste your money here.

I wish I could choose a negative number to express how horrible this experience was. We booked a dinner cruise a month in advance and paid close to $500 for a couple. Our taxi driver dropped us at a dock entrance about a half mile away from the dinner boat dock. We ran the whole way( in heels) and even called ahead to explain we’d be a few minutes late. When we arrived we were relieved to see that the boat was still there and docked. However we were met with the ABSOLUTELY rudest staff Ever! The woman at the counter wouldn’t even consider our situation and refused to issue us a boarding pass. We boarded with our tickets in hand and explaining we were refused boarding passes, security was called and we were asked to get off. You can’t imagine how upset this was considering how much we spent on tickets. This was the single most incredulous moment in my life. Never had I been treated with such indignation in my life. Rude is an understatement. We left and tried to take a lesser evening cruise only to find out the captain had called ahead to blackball us from ALL the other boats! We ended up finding a great private party on a yacht and watched the Eiffel Tower at midnight from there. This company has zero class. Needless to say there was NO refund or explanation. This ruined any romantic visions I ever had about Paris. It’s all an illusion.
Save your money, go to Mexico and enjoy the beach!!!

A group of 8 of us did the 8:30 PM cruise which lasted about 2 1/2 hours. There were no problems with the boat or water and it was smooth sailing. The tables and chairs are arranged in different configurations with smaller ones right along the windows and larger ones toward the inside of the boat. Because the windows were large and clean, everyone had a clear view of the river and the sites along the banks.
Everyone enjoyed the food which consisted of typical starters, entrees, and dessert (or cheese). The one mistake was that the waiter cleared one of our cheese plates before we were finished. When we pointed that out, he said “Sorry!” And walked away. The proper response should have been “Sorry! I will bring you a new plate of cheese.”
There was a photographer who took pictures, printed them out, then distributed them later on asking for 20 euro each. He wasn’t pushy. There were two singers who walked around singing to recorded music but only part of the time.
I wouldn’t say this was the best experience ever but it is a fairly quiet enjoyable way to spend an evening.

I was in Paris for the International Rugby match and as it was my first time in Paris wanted to get the maximum enjoyment from the time there.
The Seine River Dinner Cruise exceeded my expectations.
I was travelling single and choose the window seat view which afforded me uninterrupted views ( if you cannot stretch yourself you will still get good views as the boat is glass topped).
The boats are moored next to the Eiffel Tower and when light up offers a magnificent view - consider night cruise vs day to see the lights. There is no running commentary however there is a explanatory sheet is given with your menu.
The service was discreet, the food top class, after my complementary glass of champagne the dinner was served. It was well spaced out with the complementary white and red wine.
I went for the Privilege service which I would recommend.
Should mention the discreet live on board entertainment on board which comprised 2 guitarists and female singer.
Total cruise time was 2hr 30mins.You can step out to the back and enjoy the view as well.
Well worth it and a memorable treat when in Paris

Booked this as a romantic Saturday dinner for our long weekend in Paris - really pleased with the overall evening although it was expensive to secure a window seat which also had champagne aperitif. We had a lovely side position sectioned off from main area, super French couple celebrating a birthday and expecting second baby sat across the aisle. The music was perfect pitch and very relaxing; the Seine route took in 12 or so main attractions including the lit Eiffel Tower. We had hors d’ouvres, scallops starter, duck main and cheese as well as lovely dessert with coffee and petit fours. White and red wine accompaniments. The service was perfect and attentive but not intrusive. It was all timely and we got an Uber back to hotel minutes after docking. A perfect, memorable evening.

They do have meat dishes yes, however if you are a vegetarian you would need to advise them when you book.

Get AppTaxi on your phone or ItTaxi app. You’re not allowed to hail a cab from the curb. You have to get one at a taxi stand or call for one (with the app).

Good Day. Do we eat dinner on the boat or at another location? Do we have assigned seats on the boat or no? Thank you
Written 22 August 2023
Dinner is served in the boat and it is very good. When you go to their website, there are several seating options. Window seats cost a bit more than seats in the middle of the boat. And there is an option for front of the boat. We had a window seat. It is a wonderful evening.
