    What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Paris. Learn how the city earned its title as the fashion capital of the world while you admire the glamorous window displays in the fashion district. Along the way, try a traditional Parisian treat—a sweet macaron.

Continue to the Louvre, home to masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Hear about the museum highlights from your guide as you wander through the gardens, pose for photos by the iconic glass pyramid, and enjoy a glimpse of the sculpture gallery from a secret arcade. Make a note to come back and continue exploring another day—the museum's so big, you need half a day just to take in the highlights.

Next, mingle with the locals at a Parisian market, stopping to indulge in another French passion—cheese. Sample a delicious array of regional cheeses, including smooth, mild Brie, or pungent Roquefort, the ‘King of Cheeses.’

Continue through the streets, passing through hidden arcades and historic avenues, as your guide points out boutiques and popular patisseries along the way. Arrive at the famous Centre Pompidou and part with your guide for some independent sightseeing. Grab a light lunch at a nearby café (be sure to save space for more food tasting in the afternoon though), head to the top floor of the Centre Pompidou for panoramic views of Paris, or stroll down to the Seine riverside.

Then, meet up with your group and guide outside the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Explore the medieval neighborhood of Le Marais, where highlights include preserved Gothic churches and streets, the remains of Paris’ 12th-century defense walls, or tucked away mansions. Le Marais is full of sweet shops, pâtisseries, boutiques, and cafés, so be sure to ask your guide for recommendations so you can come back in your own time. Stop in three different pastry stores to taste classic French sweets.

Finally, stop at a wine store for a personalized tasting. Sip a range of French wines and try some delicious liqueurs, including Armagnac or 'Old Plum,' accompanied by a variety of French cheese or charcuterie, like ham or rillettes.

After an action-packed day, bid your guide farewell and end your tour at Bastille in the heart of Paris.

This tour with Emily would have bee a 5, but we received the wrong meeting place information. We walked 1.5 mi to the meeting place that been changed 6 months earlier. Fortunately a young lady stopped to help and walked us to the new spot. Emily was excellent and well

Dear Brian, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and first of all we're happy to hear that you loved the tour with Emilie. Regarding the meeting place, we did update it on January 1st last year from Place de la Concorde to Place de la Madeleine (the distance between these two squares is only 500 meters, so 0.3 miles though!). If these changes are often problematic we tried to make sure that every distributors was informed to avoid any bad experience like yours. So we're sorry to heat that it wasn't your case and that the update of the change wasn't passed onto you. Best, Tim

So, this is two tours sandwiched back to back. Be ready for some WALKING. You're going to spend 8 hours on your feet with a few minor breaks and a lunch in the middle. The tour drifts around all over the place, as you can when you're spending an entire day strolling

I have taken this tour at the end of December. It was the worst experience I've ever tried. 1) The tour was very boring. The guide presented no interesting stories or facts about Paris. 2) I didn't feel the enthusiasm and engagement from the guide's side. He didn't pay

Response from timdem, Owner at Paris Full-Day Tour: Become a Parisian for a Day

Hello Oleksander, We're sorry to hear that our full day tour was "the worse experience you've tried". That must have been pretty traumatising, then! Sorry as well that you didn't enjoy Arthur. We value him very much, as he's one of our most experienced and well-reviewed guide, but I believe one can't please everyone. A few points I would like to respond to your review here for other readers. First of all, yes, the tour is divided into two parts, with usually a 1/1.5 hours break, in between the two legs. The whole day includes about 12 km of walking over 7-8 hours, so people usually are happy to have a little break in between to rest their legs or to have a bit of time for shopping. Then, it is not true that the morning leg of the tour finished at 11.30 AM. It usually finishes around 12.30PM, as it was the case on the day you took the tour with us. Maybe it felt shorter because you arrived about 15 minutes late to the meeting point at the morning leg AND the afternoon leg, having the rest of the group waiting for you twice? Actually, on the afternoon part, the guide realised after 15 minutes that you were just a few meters away from the departure point taking pictures of yourself and you wife, while the group waited for you, without notifying anyone of your presence on the spot. Finally, you decided to leave before the end, which is your free decision, but maybe you missed some additional information that could have been "interesting stories and facts about Paris". Best, Tim

Arthur was our tour guide for the day and he was engaging with his many stories of the history. We walk a lot but it was interesting and each stop to sample macaroons, brioche and cheese. The highlight was the wine and cheese tasting near the end. our children enjoyed it very
