Dear priyar4040, I'm quite surprised to read your review as the feedback document that you gave us at the end of the tour was very positive! Your wrote "thank you for a beautiful treatment and a lovely time spent", what caused such a contrast since Friday? Regarding lunch, I am sorry that it did not meet your expectations. As mentioned in the tour description, you were served a typical French picnic including some typical charcuteries of the region (replaced by chicken as you asked no pork), a French ratatouille and a desert cake all of it cooked by one of our quality partners. There was also some local red wine and some fresh bread bought in the morning. Regarding water, for environmental reasons, we chose not to use plastic bottles anymore for our tours in 2019 and you were served some fresh water from a Carboy bottle in a glass, you are right to underline that the information is not right and I’ve requested the change in the tour description. We always try to go the extra mile for our guests to enjoy an authentic experience with us and visit off the beaten path chateaux of the region, and that is why I took the decision of waiting for you more than usual. Maybe the rare high temperatures on that day and the stress of arriving late also had an influence on your experience. We hope you will keep a nice memory of your overall day in our beautiful region.
