Fun experience for my kids, but they got frustrated a few times when the clues for the riddles weren’t right at the spot on the map. Overall a nice experience to walk around the old town of Toulouse and keep my kids engaged.

The activity is definitely a different way to explore tourist areas. I however, suggest adding a difficulty level to the descriptions.

The game The Alchemist in Rennes was appropriately challenging and a good Way both to see the city and be a team. I did is as a part of an international PhD meeting.

Fun for kids but only for the digitally savvy as I needed to personally trouble shoot the 404 not working link through their helpdesk (excess space in link)

The description of the game says that the city is discovered as the game takes you to points of interest. It may do, but it does not tell you what they are or give any information about them. The starting instructions are not very clear. There are very few puzzles to solve, meaning the game is not much more than following a series of directions around the city. Done right, these games are very interesting and fun, but this one needs more work.

The application is super slow, even after upgrading my phone with the most bandwidth. The questions are silly and unrelated to the city (they likely use the same template for many European cities). The response field only accepts perfectly worded responses, according to some dubious logic that is impossible to penetrate. This was the worst possible way to spend $40 and a few hours. Would not recommend it ever.

Not very intuitive app, not much information on the areas and hotspots. Difficult to follow. Should have been with more focus on the spotlights

I really like the game, for a duration of almost 2 hours I visited the most epic places, with a challenging quest. at the same time learn something new about each place visited. I recommend the game

Nice walk through the center of Lille. Even though it was a rainy day we (2) did this escape game walk. We did it easily within the timeframe. Overall it's about 5km of walking. We did the tour in Dutch and because of that some of the riddles were a little bit strange in terms of how the questions were asked. Probably a Google translate thing. Would recommend to do it either in French or English... And on a summer day with some drinks in the bag. The storyline is creative and thought-through. So, if you don't mind to walk and love to see some highlights I would recommend it. You also get to know a little bit more about the history at around 1500/1600.
