    Thanks, Gerard!
I had another tour guide booked for the drive from Galway to Dublin, with some sightseeing along the way. The other guide had to cancel with about 48 hours' notice, but luckily for me, Gerard was available and was able to step in. The stop at Clonmacnoise was one of my favorites!

    The best part of Ireland
I can’t stress enough how pleasant of a trip this was with Gerard. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon in Dublin and Killarney and we took a trip with Gerard. We originally had the Ring of Kerry, but due to the late season he recommended a hybrid Killarney National Park/Dingle mix trip, as a lot of places are closed in the off-season. We accepted the recommendation and were in no way disappointed. The beautiful sights, the conversation, and the music set the mood, and the weather was perfect for the trip. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day with my wife, and I will make sure to tour with Gerard on any return visit to Ireland that we have. There isn’t a way to give it more than 5 stars, so I’ll stick with that. If you want a trip of a lifetime, call Killarney Guided Tours and enjoy the experience. Also, be prepared to learn a LOT about the region, and meet one of the most kind and knowledgeable people on the island. Wonderful time, thank you Gerard!

    Ring of Kerry October 2024
We had the best day on the Ring of Kerry with Gerard. He’s personable and fun, knows everything there is to know about the area and had all kinds of good advice for us including where to get the best Irish Coffee at 10:30am.😁 He gave us lots of time to wander on our own, recommended a great lunch stop at the Waterville golf course and somehow even managed to arrange beautiful fall weather for us! Very highly recommended.

Great and memorable times had by all!
Oh boy!! First trip to Ireland, and we were fortunate to choose Gerard Scott as our 1-day guide for Ring of Kerry. What a professional and engaging person he is! I do not think we would have learned nearly as much as we did about the history and culture of this part of Ireland without learning from Mr. Scott. Made for a great day, and plenty of food for thought in the days after.

Fantastic 3 days touring with our guide Gerard Scott
My family and I spent 3 wonderful days touring with Gerard Scott. We were based out of Killarney and Gerard picked us up each day promptly at 9:30. Day 1 we toured the Dingle Peninsula. Day 2 was Killarney National Park and Day 3 was the Wild Atlantic Way to Kinsale. Superb tour! Gerard is knowledgeable, friendly and very enthusiastic about Southwest Ireland's history and natural beauty. Will definitely recommend Gerard to anyone looking to visit Ireland.

    Gerard is the best
This was our second time in Ireland to have Gerard guide us around the Emerald Isle. If we are fortunate enough to return we will definitely spend our time with Gerard. He is knowledgeable, accommodating and very pleasant to be with. All reviews rate Gerard as excellent and nothing more needs to be said. Look forward to future visits with Gerard as our guide. Dublin, Killarney, Galway and more in 2024
Back in the USA fondly recalling our recent trip, I must let you know that our tour with Lorraine remains a highlight. She was fabulous! In addition to being the greatest guide, she engaged on any topic that came up, Ireland related or not. We all said over and over how lucky we were to have such a talented person to show us the ropes.

We had a multi day tour with Gerard and it is the only way I would ever see Ireland and County Kerry again!!!
Gerard goes well above and beyond anything you could expect from a tour operator. They say that you get what you pay for. With Gerard you get much more than you pay for! His knowledge of Irish history combined with his local knowledge and obvious love of his country, make for a wonderful experience! He went well out of his way to go to the spot where my Grandmother was raised, did it with at best , sketchy directions and did it all with a smile. I cannot recommend him highly enough! When I do go back for a golf tour, I know exactly who I will call!!

    Wonderful three day tour
The private three day tour with Gerard was terrific. Highly recommend taking a private tour. Gerald and his colleague Paddy were very knowledgable and took us to places we would never have gone to on our own. It was also great that we did not have to drive, particularly on the narrow roads. We made our own schedule so we did not feel rushed and were able to take in all of the beauty at our leisure. Overall a great experience and the best way to see the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and the Cliffs of Moher.

Brilliant day tour of the Dingle Peninsula!
My husband, son and I did a day tour around the Dingle Peninsula with Gerard Scott, and it was the highlight of our time in Ireland! Gerard met us in the morning at our hotel in Killarney. He’s cheerful and easy going, and we felt comfortable with him immediately. We began with a stop at Inch Beach, and then continued our drive throughout the peninsula with many more brilliant stops and sites. He kept us entertained with stories about the area and its history, and the coastal views were breathtaking. We had a lovely lunch on the coast and a chance to do a bit of shopping too. We capped off the day with stops at Ross Castle and the Killarney House and Gardens. We were fortunate to have a beautiful, sunny day but I think we would have had a wonderful time even if it had been raining. Thank you, Gerard, for the fantastic day and memories!

    Can’t wait to return!!!
Gerard Scott was an awesome tour guide. He was very familiar with The Killarney area. We spent 2 full days visiting lots of very special and scenic spots in and around The Ring of Kerry and beyond. I highly recommend Gerard for anyone interested in seeing and learning about this beautiful country.

11-Day Epic Tour of the Emerald Isle with "40 Shades of Green"
My husband and I were very fortunate to experience a luxury tour in Ireland with Gerard Scott, the best guide and driver one could hope for! He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the country: its history, music, culture, and has a wonderfully fun and cheerful personality!! Gerard first met us in Kilkenny, drove us to the Waterford Crystal Showroom, then to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way, the picturesque town of Kinsale, where we enjoyed some amazingly fresh seafood. He drove us then to his hometown of Killarney and secured tickets for us to see the "Celtic Steps" show which we enjoyed immensely! During our stay at the fabulous Lake Hotel, we toured the Muckross House, Ross Castle, the Torc Waterfalls and walked stunningly scenic trails in Killarney National Park. Following lunch and shopping in Kenmare in the Beara region, a memorable stop on the way to Dingle the sandy Inch Beach. Our overnight stay at Heaton's Guest House was great with it's lovely views of Dingle Bay. Jaw dropping views were also experienced at the panoramic scenes of Slea Head as we continued our journey which culminated that day with an opulent afternoon tea at the most elegant Adare Manor in Limerick. Our stay at Sheedy's B&B was excellent example of true Irish hospitality in Doolin where we enjoyed traditional music and great meals at local pubs. The visit to the Perfumery and the Hazel Mountain Chocolate were delightful stops at the Burren, County Clare. Ballynahinch Castle Hotel in the Connemara region was a most impressive setting! Visited the stunning Kylemore Abbey, and the Killary Fjord where we witnessed a demonstration of sheep herding, held baby lambs and actually helped with the shearing! On the way up to Donegal, stopped at Glencar Alpaca Farm, walked with animals as we took in the amazing lake views. Lough Eske Castle Hotel in Donegal was lovely. 30 minutes south of Donegal, Gerard brought us to the Belleek Pottery showroom, the edge of Northern Ireland, where we did some shopping! Our last accommodation was the most impressive and luxurious Ashford Castle in Cong, county Mayo! Had a fun morning walk with the Irish wolfhounds and their trainer, and enjoyed the scenic boat cruise on Lake Corrib. "The Quiet Man" movie sites and memorabilia in the Cong Village was fun to see!! Epic tour! Brilliant itinerary!! All went well smoothly and the weather cooperated beautifully. Thank you Gerard for the wonderful journey and memories of Ireland! We will cherish it all!

    Best of the Best!
We have been touring exclusively with Killarney Guided Tours for more than a decade and no matter how many times we come to Ireland, we will never choose to tour with anyone else. First class itineraries, vehicles and guides each and every time without fail. We toured a bit of the West coast this trip, choosing to cover less miles but locations more in depth. Great recommendation by Gerard! We are already planning our next visit.

The Perfect Guided Tour of the Ring of Kerry - family heritage and gorgeous views
If we could have made a "wish list of qualities" to conjure up the perfect tour guide for our day around the Ring of Kerry, with a focus on family heritage sites, we would have fallen short of what we actually found in Gerard. He superceded all of our expectations! He is kind, professional, knowledgeable, amiable, and he has a great singing voice on top of it all! He really listened, and tailored the drive to our interests. (To think that I might have missed Kerry Woolen Mills without his guidance makes me want to cry; it was heaven for a knitter!) Instead of a pre-scripted, strictly-scheduled excursion, we had the freedom of wander joyfully, stop for photos of a foal in the blooming flowers, skip ahead where needed. It felt like we were all working together to craft a perfect family history + sites of Kerry day. He left us just the right amount of privacy to wander a meaningful cemetary, and pointed us enthusiastically to places that held emotional value to us, as well as to the standard tourism sites we shouldn't miss, taking photos, and just in general being easy company. The music fit the emotional tenor of the drive and he gave a wealth of information in casual conversation. In planning our trip we chose to allocate a larger piece of the travel budget to hiring a private driver in Kerry, and Stephanie at "Infinite Ireland" recommended Gerard. In looking back at the trip, our time with him was a true highlight and absolutely worth it. We will be back someday for the full "Wild Atlantic Way" - a tour with him is worth its own trip to Ireland!

A day on the ring like no other
Our day trip with Girard was unexpectedly and wonderfully filled with gorgeous views, special little experiences, laughs and wows! that we're still integrating. Girard more than knows his territory, gave us terrific travel advice and made the investment of time and money completely worthwhile. We're still integrating all we took in with him. Thank you, Girard, for your remarkable flexibility and experience -- not to mention the comfort!

What a fantastic way to see Western Ireland! Our trip was planned around a 5-day woodturning course a number of us attended prior to this trip. Our travel agent recommended this tour. Not being a fan of large bus tours, this was the perfect alternative to driving ourselves.

Our tour guide Garrard was very flexible. He picked us up in Kilkenny and started the tour from there. We headed to Cork and Blarney Castle. When we arrived and saw the crowds we decided this was not the place for us. Garrard called an audible and took us to a small town where we had a nice quiet lunch outside! We also decided to avoid the busy visitors center at the Cliffs of Moher, so Garrard found another spot - we were the only tourists there - to get a beautiful view of the cliffs.

We were taken to a bog, the Burren, and other out of the way places to avoid the crowds and get a feel for the small towns and get a feel for the real Ireland. We also enjoyed the main attractions such as the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

In Killarney we visited the Muckross house where Garrard took us on a walk around the area as well as a hike into the woods and a grand view of Muckross lake. In total we hiked about 7 miles. Absolutely wonderful!

I would truly love to visit Ireland again and would certainly contact Garrard for another four day tour!

Annie was a fabulous guide for my son and I! She was so thoughtful in determining what we’d like to see and making sure we had the experiences we’d hoped for! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Ireland, its traditions and past times and was so personable (extremely important for this type of trip). She went above and beyond (brought me gloves for the chilly days) and had excellent dining and shopping recommendations. I feel I’ll be disappointed by other tours going forward!!

Gerard made Ireland come to life for our family!!! We visited Killarney, Cobh, Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Cliffs of Mother/Burren, Connemara and Galway. Every stop was breathtakingly beautiful. Gerard carefully curated our trip based on what our family was interested in - site seeing/landscape, churches/castles, animals and FOOD!

Gerard played Irish music and told us stories about Irish history and tradition making each stop even more meaningful. We even got to stop and meet some distant relatives along the way!

We wouldn't change a thing about our trip and would not have had nearly the same experience without Gerard. Would recommend this tour to everyone!

We cannot say enough about Gerard Scott. He sets the gold standard for tour guides, and I've travelled quite a bit. It’s clear he loves Ireland and loves sharing his country with others. We added a couple extra days to our tour, and Gerard made excellent recommendations on how to maximize our time and see so much of this breathtaking country. It was a true collaboration. Our itinerary morphed into a magical and unforgettable week with breathtaking scenery, stops in picturesque towns, and visits to out of the way treasures. In particular, Killarney and its surroundings captivated us. We only wished we could have stayed longer- listening to Gerard share his stories and the fascinating history all along the way.

Killarney Guided Tours is a must-do when visiting Ireland! Gerard Scott is the driver you want: Guide, Historian, Storyteller, Personable, Photographer, Musician, etc. He picked us up in Dublin, and off we went for 6 days on our chosen itinerary to see most of Ireland. The beauty of it was Gerard filled in many gaps with his knowledge of " Off the beaten path " places. He knows everyone, especially in Killarney, and helped us secure bookings for spontaneous sites, if needed.

When we return, Gerard's our guy...No doubt about it!

Our small group had a grand 4-day experience touring southern and western Ireland with Gerard as our driver and guide. Very knowledgeable about the country and its history. A kind, good-humored man. The vehicle was new and clean and comfortable. I believe we saw more of the real Ireland than most visitors. Strongly recommend this service for a true Ireland experience.

After a long and unexpected travel hiatus due to Covid, we were thrilled to be back in Ireland and on tour with Killarney Guided Tours. We will never travel with any other company no matter how many times we return. Always relaxing to let someone else do the driving for us. Just when we think we've seen it all, Killarney Guided Tours takes us to places we've never been before. Felt they were going above and beyond to ensure our health and safety each day. We can't wait for our next adventure, hopefully minus Covid. Thank you Killarney Guided Tours.

Gerard was a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable about the sites, roads and history. He was professional- on time, with the car spotless. We never had to stop for gas or delay in any way. He was always ready to go when we were. Our trip was customized efficiently for a golf detour. Gerard was ready with a smile and with a hand for the luggage. We lucked out getting Gerard for our trip. Definitely would recommend him!
