Travel to the World Heritage site aboard a comfortable coach
Visit Belfast with the option to tour political sites by black taxi (extra)
Hassle-free and convenient round-trip transport from Dublin
What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Dublin for an early morning departure. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned coach, set out through the Irish countryside as you cross into Northern Ireland.
The first stop is the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Brave a walk across the bridge, with the waves crashing below and jagged cliffs looming overhead. Then pay a visit to the nearby Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the rock formations and walk in the footsteps of giants while your guide shares mythical stories inspired by the hexagonal shapes.
Next, make a stop in Belfast for free time to walk around and shop. You have the option to tour by taxi (own expense) with a local guide to explain the city's troubled political past during decades of conflict.
Your tour ends in central Dublin.

We loved this trip. Our driver James, was so knowledgeable and made the effort to get to know the people on the trip and what they were interested in so that he could tailor the tour to meet all of our interests.

Outstanding trip. The Causeway is gorgeous and a geological wonder. We then arrived in Belfast and took a side tour to West Belfast. Learned a great deal about The Troubles by experiencing the area first hand. So all in all a terrific day excursion.

Long day, but some very cool places.

Personally, I ate breakfast at my hostel before departure. The bus made a convenience stop (toilet) which had a Burger King (not yet open) and a small market with sandwiches and snacks once we crossed into Northern Ireland . We ate lunch at The Giant's Barn in Bushmills (cafeteria style) and we stopped again for a courtesy stop on the drive back. There were plenty of opportunities to grab a bite during the tour - no worries.
