Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Burren and Galway Bay Rail Tour from Dublin
From US$ 141.37
Ireland’s majestic West Coast offers ancient cities, medieval castles, and some of the country’s most popular natural attractions. On this comprehensive tour from Dublin, you’ll see the major sights in a day—all without the trouble of arranging multiple tickets and forms of transportation. Begin with a train journey to Limerick before boarding a coach to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Galway Bay.
What to Expect

Your morning begins at Dublin Heuston Station, where you board a train to Limerick. Order breakfast (own expense) and enjoy the passing lush, green countryside views.

On arrival in Limerick, a local guide leads a walking tour of the ancient city. Learn tidbits about its rich past, Viking heritage, and literary reputation.

Next, board a northbound coach to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Discover Ireland’s most complete medieval castle, including historic tapestries and artworks, and then see Folk Park, which offers a glimpse of 20th-century Irish village life.

It isn’t a trip to Ireland without a traditional pub lunch. Wash down classic dishes with a Guinness or cup of tea at Gus O’Connor’s Pub in Doolin (own expense).

The coach then transports you to the rugged Cliffs of Moher. Your journey continues past scenic coastline of the Burren and Galway Bay. Stroll through Galway before boarding a train to Dublin, where dinner awaits (own expense).

Amazing day trip!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our tour. Our guide, Andy, was great. He was knowledgeable, personable, entertaining and made it fun. The sites are beautiful and a must see when visiting Ireland.

It is a wonderful trip by train and motor coach across Ireland and back. The train was clean and comfortable, but can be quite full at times, so if you are traveling with family, get onboard early to ensure that you sit together. There was...More
