    We spend about 2 hours at the Giant's Causeway where there are about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns resulting from a volcanic eruption. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and is owned and managed by the National Trust.

    Booked this trip through Irish Rail Day tours. It was well organised but a bit rushed. Met at Connolly Station, Dublin, by a rep, train trip was peaceful, then met by coach (McCombs) in Belfast. Driver Troy was a bit exasperating and if you value your anonymity then beware!!
