Overview
Get an overview of the wild landscape of Wicklow County on a full-day guided tour. Board your coach bus in Dublin, and then stop at Wicklow National Park, the monastic settlement at Glendalough, and Sally’s Gap (all entrance fees included). Hear insightful commentary about each stop, and take in scenic vistas while leaving the driving and navigation to the experts.
What to Expect
Head to one of the central pickup locations in Dublin to board your comfortable bus. Relax as you pass through Dalkey and Sandycove, both with impressive sea views, and then stop at Kilmacanogue’s Avoca Handweavers, where you can peruse handmade Irish goods or purchase a cup of tea.

Next, head for Sally Gap and the Wicklow Mountains National Park, where the slopes are covered with heath and bogs. Stop at Lough Tay, where sections of the movie Braveheart were filmed.

Relax and refuel (at your own expense) at a traditional Irish pub before heading to Glendalough, a glacial valley rich with wildlife, archaeology, and mystical history. Follow your guide on an in-depth tour of the site, including the Round Tower.

Back on the bus, take a complimentary shot of Ireland’s famous Jameson whiskey before heading back to Dublin.

Glendalough's own Whiskey

Such a wonderful tour, but such a pity to miss out on sampling Glendalough's own Whiskey Brand at the end of the day.

There’s not free time in the mountains like there is in Glendalough and Kilkenny, but you see a fair amount from the coach!
