      Beautifully curated tour
My husband and I decided at 8:30pm last night to book the day trip from Inverness to Skye- we’re so happy we did. We were the first to arrive to the van this morning and were cheerfully greeted by Amy. The next 12 hours were full of beautiful sights, unexpected moments (petting a Highland cow?!), lovely music and a wealth of information. To say that Amy has curated the most thoughtful tour, is an understatement. Her attention to detail was impressive (relevant songs for each section of the tour, which she shares through Spotify). Her love of history was evident - from the ecological/environmental perspective to the historical dates and timelines of the long-ago inhabitants of the Highlands. Amy informed us in the most engaging way, and her timeline was incredibly accurate for bathroom/food breaks. I wouldn’t hesitate to book a tour with Rabbie’s again, I only wish I could request Amy!

      Our trip to skye
The weather was quite stormy but we felt very safe with our guide Kev that was an excelent driver. He also had good communication skills besides his lively personality. We hope to return to this wonderful isle.

      Great guide 👍
Shauna our guide was excellent driver and skilled speaker. Very friendly and professional. Lots of history and interesting info. Lots of nice places and good instructions. So much easier than finding your own way. Only reason not 5 stars is the cost a bit steep.

Good tour of Skye. Money well spent for the 12 hour trip.
Couldn’t fault this trip. The driver, Scott from Rabbies, was great. He was knowledgable on both the geography and history of the area. Plenty of comfort stops when required and a chance to buy some gifts in Portree.

      Amazing Day at Skye
If you're looking for a fantastic coach tour, look no further. Rabbie's is amazing. My husband and I did the day trip from Inverness to Skye and Eilean Donan castle and had a fantastic time. Dave was our driver/guide. He did an incredible job of telling us the local history along the way, as well as playing some "damn good tunes" that went perfectly with the scenery. Comfort stops were plentiful and we were welcome to have our drinks and snacks on the bus. Rabbie's staff sent reminder emails regarding the date/time of the tour, as well as schedule changes and the closure of Eilean Donan Castle due to the holidays. My sister-in-law also did a Rabbie's tour and had an equally fantastic time. Thanks for a great day, Dave & Rabbie's!

      Floridians exploring winter and whisky.
My adult son and I were the only people signed up for the tour so we had a private tour with our driver Amy. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Amy is extremely knowledgeable in the whisky process so visiting two different distilleries we learned a lot about the process. And also the deliciousness of the final products. Our favorite distillery was Tomatin. Nick explained anything we hadn’t already learned from Amy. Since there were only the two of us on our tour Amy joined us to visit the Elgin Cathedral. It was amazing with all the snow on the ground and still snowing while we were there. We saw extra sights along the way on our “private” tour. Thank you again Rabbies, and especially Amy!

      Great experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Nick from Orkney was very acknowledgeable. We were given many facts and stories which made the tour very interesting and engaging 😊 It's my second time with this company and I will be doing it again, hopefully soon. Nick was such a great guy to talk to, wish him the best and thanks for the experience! 😁 Ps: his microphone needs to be repaired /replaced because we had many issues with it throughout the tour :(

Awesome Skye and a brilliant team
Both Skye and Eilean Donan Castle are stupidly beautiful. It's impossible not to enjoy your time on this trip - nomatter what the weather is like. The stop at Quiraing in particular gives you WOW factor x200 - and the rest is definitly not too bad either ;) Driver/guide David from Rabbie's was really good and knowledgeable - and very helpful when my mum unfortunately fell and broke an arm and a leg. Made sure the EMT's got there asap and was so supportive and helpful in a rather stressful situation. Also the admin team at Rabbie's were very very helpful - and made sure that I could find a place to stay overnight while my mum was admitted to the hospital in Skye, before being transferred to Inverness. A big thank you to everybody! Moran taing!

      Winter wonderlands
Third time in inverness but with no car so we choose the trio that would include the Glen Afflic and Clava even though we had been to culloden before. We were a small compact group ftom different countries and James our guide ensure we all enjoyed the day. He had so much knowledge and when he took us on the culloden battlefield he just brought all that history alive. The afternoon exiring Glen afflick was amazing snow capped mountains, winter wonderland with mist and frozen white ground and sighting 2 stags one after the other. We would definitely choose a rabbies tour again.

      A brilliant day trip
We didn't have much time in Inverness and this was a perfect day trip. Amy, our guide, was so warm and knowledgeable and we learnt so much. We loved the combination of social and natural history. She played some beautiful music during the day and also explained the poignant story behind the song Banks of Loch Lomond. These little gems of background history were a highlight. It was a brilliantly balanced tour and although we packed in a lot we never felt rushed. Highly recommended.

Where to start! I had read reviews and wasn’t too bothered about the ‘whinge bag’ ones so as most of them were great we decided to book as we were visiting Scotland for my birthday. So glad we did as it was fantastic! We were blessed with Helen as our guide, she was a total joy. She engaged the whole group and kept us entertained the full day. Her knowledge was so captivating and she was always happy to answer questions and even played us some perfect songs along our journey. Colin had joined us as a transfer to Rabbies and their banter was rather funny 🤣 He was absolutely great too and I think secretly enjoyed the ‘training tour’ as much as we did. Helen gave us tips on where to eat, what NOT to buy and the best places to go when we stopped at our destinations. We would 100% book another tour (even the same one tbh) as it was worth every penny! We were with a real great group of people from all over the world, 2 who got to see the snow for the first time and build a snowman ⛄️ fantastic memories made 😊

We booked this tour so we could get a flavour of the Highlands. Our driver Amy T was entertaining and fun to talk to. Her knowledge and experience of the area made the trip worth every penny. In addition to the commentary about the area Amy gave out hints and tips to get the best out of each and every stop. One thing we would recommend is taking a picnic instead of trying to eat at a local establishment due to the queue times to get served. That way you can maximize your enjoyment of the area. Overall this was the best tour for us. We would take another tour like this the next time we visit.

This tour is absolutely amazing. Our guide grahame (my sincere apologies if I've misspelled that) was great and provided a lot of information about the stops as well as local history and culture. We also had fun chats as a tour group which always makes a tour extra fun. Each of the stops were wonderful and perfectly timed. They showcase the beauty of the Highlands and each add something to the tour. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Inverness who wants to get out of the city and see the area.

    Honestly the best day EVER!
Shauna not only shared her immense local knowledge, but also her warm personality and cheery good humour and made it an experience to remember.
From start to finish we were made to feel welcome on board the bus, Shauna made sure we were well taken care of and comfortable throughout.
The tour itself covered all of the local attractions with all stops being the perfect amount of time and Shauna’s knowledge along the way was immense and inspiring.
We had fab companions for the day who had travelled from Oklahoma and we all left feeling more like friends than strangers.
    Well done - Ten/Ten ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a lovely and relatively affordable option to tour the Loch Ness and it’s surrounding nature. Our guide and driver Amy T was absolutely lovely. She was very informative, funny and just a delight to spend the day with. Her driving was also 10/10 and I felt very safe with her behind the wheel. I did the optional boat tour which was an all right experience but honestly nothing too special.
The first stop at the beach was actually my favorite stop.

We chose this tour because we thought the full day experience would have a relaxed pace and we could see more things and enjoy more time at each stop. This tour delivered! Our tour guide Amy was brilliant, and gave us a great overview of some science background of the loch and surrounding areas, as well as some interesting history. We paid the extra for the cruise and this was also totally worth and a great way to finish the day.

I was recommended Rabbie's by some Scottish friends in Edinburgh. I am glad they did! I emailed them to ask about accommodating me and my assistance dog Bob and they were so kind and responsive in helping me book my tour. I chose the full-day tour around Loch Ness and Inverness. It was a great tour on all counts. The bus/van was comfy for me and my dog (they gave me an extra seat for him), and the tour guide was full of knowledge and shared lots of great facts and tips. The driver was great - very good driving on those one-lane curvy roads! I felt very safe, and well cared for and I learned so much from Claire our tour guide. We had good weather for the first half of the day and it was beautiful at Dores. Urquhart Castle was very busy with lots of tourists and the boat ride was very crowded due to this being high season but I managed to get a seat on the boat. I would definitely do another Rabbie's tour as it was intimate and we were very well cared for. Incredible views surrounding Loch Ness and the highlands. The knowledge was superb. Thank you again for accommodating me and Bob!

Rabbies cancelled our tour less than 24 hours in advance. By this time, all other tour groups in Inverness were booked. They processed our refund but given the conversion rate (purchase and then refund) we’ve actually lost money on a tour we never got to take.

Very unprofessional. If we had cancelled within 24 hours I’m sure Rabbies would have charged us the full price. Same courtesy does not extend both ways I guess.

    Would not recommend!

What a lovely day trip! I originally chose this trip mainly because of the cruise option, and I’m so glad I went! James, our guide, was so good at connecting with the group. He quickly learned our names and got to know little tidbits about us early on, which made the day feel very personalized. We were out of the minibus so much, it was excellent. I enjoyed hiking about, wandering leisurely, and taking the loch cruise. James did a good job of providing a variety of options for folks at each stop depending on physical ability and activity interest. There were many opportunities to buy souvenirs and gifts throughout the day as well, which I wasn’t expecting but greatly appreciated because they went beyond the typical souvenir shops in the cities. My impression from this tour with James and the Culloden Rabbies tour with Amy T was that Rabbies does a great job of focusing on promoting local Scottish businesses. I encourage everyone to tour in small groups and do your best to support the locals!

Great day and not too long. We really saw a lot that day. Our tour guide Graham was very attentive and took the time to talk to each participant. He had a lot of knowledge and drove really well. It was very cool that we were only a small group. We didn't like the stop at Urquhart Castle so much. The only thing that mattered was pushing as many tourists through as possible. And the tourists were just collecting photos, nobody was interested in the history of the castle.
