Overview

For a deathly creepy ghost tour, you need a great guide. Join your terrifying conductor aboard a vintage Routemaster double-decker bus for an Edinburgh ghost tour with a difference. As you travel past eerie sights like Grassmarket, the Royal Mile, Greyfriars Kirk, and Edinburgh Castle, thrill to gory anecdotes from the city’s chilling past.

What to Expect

As night falls, board the bus in central Edinburgh and pick a seat. As you ride through the streets, let your conductor transport you to the city’s dark side. Hear tales of murder, slaughter, torture, and ghosts; shiver at the story of Burke and Hare, gravediggers who turned serial killers to feed medical schools’ desire for fresh corpses; tremble at the memories of the witch hunts in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Learn a different, darker side of this historic city as you pass haunted sites like Greyfriars Kirk, Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. You’ll finish in Edinburgh Old Town with plenty of time for a warming whisky at a local pub.

So much fun and a great way to see the city

I was apprehensive of the price of this tour but I was worth every penny. The conductor "Hector" was brilliant and entertaining. You can venture out into the graveyard with him which was a nice touch before relaxing in the bus and enjoying the rest.

I suggested this to my Department colleagues for a night out as something different. I am the only Edinburgh Born and Bred amongst us and, I have to admit, I was a wee bit apprehensive. However, thanks to an amazing ,Conductor' and sound effects/voice from...More
