Edinburgh’s dark and mysterious Old Town is best explored at night, when the cloak of darkness adds a chilling atmosphere. Discover the sinister side of Scotland's capital on this ghost tour, designed for travelers interested in the paranormal. Listen to immersive tales of treason and torture from your guide, and embark on a candlelit tour of the 18th-century Blair Street vaults, usually inaccessible to the general public.
What to Expect

Your tour begins in central Edinburgh, where you’ll greet your guide and wind your way through the backstreets of the Old Town. Listen to tales of supernatural history, documented hauntings, and ghostly apparitions, and visit sites of hangings and reported paranormal activity.

After, descend into the 18th-century Blair Street vaults to embark on a candlelit tour of the subterranean caverns. Stroll beneath the stone arches and discover the spot on which poltergeists and spirits have appeared.

Your tour concludes in the vaults’ museum.

Interesting Story-Telling of Edinburgh's Past

Great to see the underground vaults beneath South Bridge and hear about the grim past. Some nice ghostly elements. Stephanie was a great tour guide. She kept the pace going.
