          The craic was ninety
We booked a full day trip with my wife, my sister and her husband. I had been to Belfast before but hadn’t done a guided tour with a local fella called Karl. This fella was outstanding with his knowledge, banter, craic and general persona.

An excellent tour. Karl the driver was a funny and entertaining guide. Well organised, good pace, spectacular drive along Ulster coastline to the Causeway. Would thoroughly recommend!

          Excellent Day Tour
I can highly recommend this tour. The driver, Patrick did a great job and we saw everything that was listed on the itinerary. BUT BEWARE. I specifically chose this tour for our group as on TripAdvisor, the itinerary says that they head straight to The Giant’s Causeway…arriving early means it’s far less crowded… and then it continues on to visit castles, harbours, Game of Thrones locations etc along the coast road. There is no mention of visiting a distillery… again a plus point for us as I no one in the group drinks whiskey and it would maximise our time at the Causeway. However, this tour with McCombs’s DOES NOT go straight to the Giant’s Causeway…. It heads up the coast road visiting castles, etc en route. On the return journey it DOES GO to The Old Bushmills Distillery! I have contacted McComb’s (whose own website shows exactly the itinerary that was taken) and suggested that they update the information on TripAdvisor. Their e mail explained that they are unable to update the itinerary and only TripAdvisor can change the details on their website. So please be aware of the itinerary if you’re booking this trip. If anyone from TripAdvisor reads this… PLEASE update your information for this tour. Thank you Top Tip. Arrive early (8 am for the 830am departure) to get a seat on the RHS of the coach for the best views along the coast road

A great way to see the scenic parts of Belfast!
“Patrick” was our driver/tour guide We were apprehensive about booking this trip as it was 10 hours long, however with the commentary and many stops along the way, the day or drive didn’t drag at all. We were lucky enough to have great weather all morning which did eventually turn to mist when we got the causeways. Even so, we got to experience the natural (very beautiful) views of Northern Ireland, many hills, cliffs and coastal areas (and animals!) Patrick made the day very enjoyable with his knowledge and jokes, and was very efficient in time keeping. Whilst there was no toilet on the coach, we had dedicated toilet stops along the way, with shops and restaurants available. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone, even if they were staying only for a few days in the city like us.

          Great day out
What an amazing experience this was!! Our driver Karl was very funny and extremely knowledgeable, he really made the experience especially with the stories and local legends he knew. Would highly recommend this to anyone. It’s a long day but with the stop offs and having some lunch at Fullerton’s (the seafood chowder was delicious) you really don’t notice it! Would definitely do this again next time I’m in Belfast!

What an amazing adventure, well organised and Patrick was a wonderful guide and driving sharing all the hints and tips that got you the best view and an amazing photo to share when you got home. The jokes even made us laugh!

          Brilliant Day Out!
Such a great day trip with Mccombs coaches. Our driver Patrick was an excellent guide, really funny and an expert at driving the huge coach along the winding roads. The tour took off at around 8.20am but there was another coach just at the back to pick up more people. We booked premium seats just behind the driver and this was great as the views and scenery on the drive are amazing even though it was quite foggy we still had great views. The stops on the trip are all well organised and plenty of time at each location never felt rushed. Really enjoyed the caves and also thought the dark hedges were so beautiful. The causeway itself was just amazing, we took the red trail which gave amazing views out over the coast and even though we got absolutely soaked at the bottom of the causeway it didn’t dampen our spirits as it’s such a sight to see. There’s also a shuttle bus that can take you to the causeway and back up again if u can’t or don’t want to walk too far. The pub lunch was also good but you don’t have to do this there’s plenty of places on the various stops to buy your own food or you could take a packed lunch. All in all a great day and would definitely recommend the trip and would also recommend Patrick as a guide such a wealth of knowledge not just about the places on the trip but also about Northern Ireland’s history. We had a brilliant day thanks Patrick!

Great tour of Giant’s Causeway and more
Karl is a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. Despite bad weather in the morning, we hit all our destinations. Every stop was timed perfectly. Even in the rain the sites were spectacular. Great tour all around - i highly recommend it!

Forever memories unlocked - natural beauty
Thank-you McCombs and especially to Paul our driver and guide for the day. Paul had all the knowledge needed for an interesting insight into the history and culture of Belfast and northern Ireland. A fair few dad jokes came out for the craic :) Perfectly timed and not rushed, we saw so much natural beauty over the course of the day. Lunch stop was planned at incredible traditional pub that served top food, the driver even took our order and called ahead to save valuable time for the sights. We were a large group and they accommodated us fantastically, felt safe and welcome throughout as the drivers clearly had good relations with the locals and were respectful to the sites. Incredible memories made, by far my favourite day of the whole trip ❤️

Great tour - hits all the highlights with an awesome guide!
Had an absolutely great time on this tour. It felt like we had just the right amount of time at each stop. Karl struck the exact right balance between enough information and enough time to absorb what we were seeing and hearing, so that nothing ever felt rushed but we always knew what was happening and what we were seeing. Great photos, great information, and just all around a great time. Premium seats felt worth it to us to be first off the bus and have the best view out the front of the coach, particularly as we drove along the water.

Book it. Great comfortable bus+ essentials+ lovely driver.
Stopped at wonderful places-Paul always pointed out bathrooms, points of interest & interacted with everyone! Ordered our lunch ahead for those who opted in to the pub lunch & kept us entertained with dad jokes. The time goes by quickly but heads up the causeway is a hike if you go the red route-not difficult but lots-o-walking so wear comfy shoes! Highly recommend this tour. The causeway is beautiful!

Desmond was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and flexible with our itinerary. It was great not having to share this experience on a bus with with 50+ other people. We could stop when we wanted to and spend as much time at any location we chose. Be sure to wear comfortable, hiking shoes so you can walk on the stones at Giant's Causeway - nice experience. We would definitely book this tour again with a request that Desmond be our guide!

It is the worst service I have ever seen. The instruction said the check in place is 22 Donagall Road, but when I arrived, I couldn't find the bus. I made a phone call to the staff, they said the bus was in front of the Europa Hotel, and if I couldn't get to the Europa Hotel on time I would miss the bus, and I couldn't get any refund, and getting to a wrong place was totally my own mistake.

        That's so ridiculous.
        这是我见过的最差的服务,上车地点完全不是指引上所写的位置,然后客服告诉我这和他们一点关系都没有,如果我不能及时赶到,我将无法乘坐大巴并且不会收到任何退款。
        绝对的不可理喻。

We had the best private tour with Tony Mulholland and saw every beautiful thing on the list. He gave us insider tips and took us to a couple of places not listed. We also had Tony for a second day giving us the Belfast tour and his version of the black taxi tour. He is friendly, informative, and very prompt!

I had a great day of excursion by the McCombs coaches- especially our great tour guide Stephen with very good knowledge history of Ireland and the areas that we visited. What a lovely pleasant chap who is very well mannered and full of beans! Cracked jokes and made the journey a pleasant one.
It was a combined Game of Thrones and Giant Causeway tour which was absolutely a great experience- besised the weather was fantastic- warm, nice and sunny and have got a tan :-)
We had a most wonderful time- Thank you Stephen

If a private tour is within your budget, definitely go for this one! We were in Belfast in the summer when many locations are crowded with the big coach tours. Being in a smaller group you have more flexibility with your itinerary and the smaller van can go to locations the larger coaches can't.

Our driver Troy was great and provided us with a good mix of GoT knowledge, history and local lore. All of the locations are stunning and it was nice to be able to enjoy them at our own pace.
