We had a lovely morning walking around Conwy with Amanda who is so friendly and enjoyable to be with. She is also quite knowledgeable concerning the history of the area. Highly recommend spending some time with Amanda when in Conwy which is a lovely place to be.

Lots of interesting history presented in a clear and engaging way. Not strenuous in terms of walking. Highly recommend. About an hour and 15 minutes or so long.

Amanda is simply the best guide I have had over my lifetime of travels. Words of praise and accolades do not seem enough to describe how wonderful this tour was. But to try: Amanda had comprehensive knowledge of Welsh history, and location history, but also of the natural settings of Wales. To this she added a natural story teller's knack of informing without over telling. She draws out the gems of the story. Finally, she had a great sense of what we might want to see, might want to know about, and the pace at which you could travel and absorb what we were seeing and at the same time when to let us explore on our own. We covered Celtics ruins, and Roman ruins, and, of course, castles, but also beautiful nature, and quaint villages, and yet, felt it was within our energy level and none was overdone. With her help, we created family memories we will never forget. In short, you can do no better, at any price, than Amanda.

Amanda knows her history and tailors the tour to your interests. Experienced, knowledgeable, and a natural. Was great to walk with a local to give you inside information on other things to do too. Most enjoyable and informative.

I cannot begin to express how incredibly fortunate we were to stumble across and book a day tour with Amanda. I found her so accommodating from the minute we started working out a good itinerary for my elderly parents, my husband, and I. Her communications were prompt offering us various options. The suggested itinerary did not disappoint! Amanda’s recommendations were spot on, we enjoyed every minute of our day and created some wonderful memories that we will always cherish. I just can’t say enough about how perfect the day was - from the marvelous driver she secured, to her timings, and places we visited. Her knowledge of the area is just mind blowing and we all learnt so much - at the same time she was so attentive to my parents and mindful of their limited mobility. We had a delightful walk with Amanda in Conwy. Book ahead so you can see Amanda early in your stay. She provides a great introduction to the town of Conwy, including great food and drink recommendations.

We booked this tour fairly last minute. We had good information from Amanda prior to the day, including clear instructions of where to meet and that the tour would involve steps and uneven surfaces (not a problem for us). Amanda was great, friendly, fun and had a wealth of knowledge not only about the walls but Conwy and the surrounding areas. She taught us a little bit of Welsh too. We throughly enjoyed this walking tour and would highly recommend Amanda’s services.

When visiting Conwy I would start my trip with a morning tour by Amanda! She tells you all the amazing stories and hits all the points in history not only about Conwy but you learn about Wales and the amazing Culture. Her outfit is truly amazing too adding to the experience!
