Worth it during your trip to Bath!
Lovely boat tour down the River Avon! Celyn was a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area. Paul was lovely as well. Very nice, intimate tour with only 7 of us, great experience. It was raining that day but thankfully the boat is enclosed so it didn't take away from the experience at all. They kept the prosecco flowing! Would definitely recommend.

    Great chance for photos!
Fun tour. Best angle of the weir and the Pultney Bridge for photos. Celyn and Paul did a great job despite the rain.

    Great boat trip
Such a warm welcome from Paul and Olivia when we arrived. Boat not very big and not over booked. Great route along the river. Lots of opportunities to take photos and all whilst enjoying a cold glass of Prosecco along the way. Would definitely do again

    Informative and fun
Highly recommend this tour for a great overview of Bath! Two lovely young women (college students) lead the experience. They were knowledgeable, professional and entertaining! Enjoyed having both the river perspective and walking experiences.

    Very enjoyable
Great tour, Celyn & Paul were friendly and informative and it was a great opportunity to photograph the sights from a different angle. We also met some lovely fellow tourists and an hour in their company made it even more of a highlight. Tip, your leaves spot on time so get there early.

Fantastic way to relax and see the sights.
We booked as part of our 10 year anniversary and were not left disappointed. Our hosts Paul and Emily could not have been more attentive and helpful throughout the experience. The boat was great with plenty of room to manoeuvre both above and below deck offering great views along the way. Lots of great information given as we travelled and glasses never left empty as we cruised comfortably along the river. Some great photo opportunities as we approached the weir as well as a chance to see the local wildlife on the banks. Thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Excellent boat tour with Celyn and Paul
My partner and I enjoyed the prosecco boat tour led by Celyn and Paul. The boat ride was smooth. Celyn is an excellent tour guide; she made us comfortable while filling us with interesting facts and stories about Bath. We were served both alcoholic and non-alcoholic prosecco, which was very considerate. Overall, it was a lovely experience to do on a hot September evening and to get to know the city from the river Avon.

Unfortunately, Bath College graduation day was the same day as our walking tour, so it was very crowded. Our guide was knowledgable and courteous. We didn't walk up to the "Circus"; so I did that on my own afterwards (It is steep, so that may be why it wasn't part of the tour?) She did recommend I buy tickets to the Roman Baths online, which was a great suggestion as there were only six tickets left for the entire day.

Thanks for your feedback. You chose the short tour which says clearly does not include the circus. We can’t control the crowds.

Our guide seemed informed and was interesting when we could hear him. Sadly the transparent full length face mask he was wearing muffled his speaking and so we only caught about a third it - despite telling him early on that this was a problem. Not sure if this was because it was the first busy day post-Covid reopening but this needs to be rethought otherwise there’s no point. Guides for other companies weren’t wearing masks and we could hear them better. It’s a shame for the guide and this company but I really wish we had gone elsewhere :(

Thanks for your feedback, we are sorry. Other reputable organisations in Bath such as the Mayors Tour Guides, do wear masks or visors in line with the current guidance for tour guiding. In our opinion visors have very little impact on projection of sound while being an effective safety measure. The guide has a loud voice and we will try and make things better while keeping visitors and staff safe.

Joseph was an excellent tour guide. He was easy to understand, full of love and history for his hometown! So refreshing and delightful to see a young person proud of showing and telling about local history! My Mom friend and I enjoyed this tour very much. We highly recommend it and know you should request Joseph to show you around!

We wanted a short walking tour so that we could get our bearings as we’d never been to Bath before. The guide was great. Regular stops and short stories and snippets of information made it really interesting. Would definitely recommend.

The river cruise was short but very interesting and informative and the captain was very friendly. This was followed by a walking tour of Bath which was done by a young lady who knew about the area and the tour covered all the major parts of Bath, and again it was very informative. I would have preferred to have also seen the crescent but that would have made the walking tour a lot longer but I have no complaints as we enjoyed the whole experience. Very good value for money.

My husband and I did a combined boat and walking tour. They fitted a lot in for 2 hours. The boat captain was very knowledgable and happy to chat at length, the tour guide (albeit not my husbands thing!) was brilliant. She was very enthusiastic and keen.
We would recommend!

A clearer/more central meeting spot would be a good idea. Ivan was a great tour guide - passionate and friendly.

We covered a lot in 50 minutes (the tour goes at quite a pace!), and Ivan had interesting and informed answers to any questions.

Thank you for your review. The location for this walking tour is at the location of our boat tours as you can have the option of a joint boat and walking tour. You were joined on the walking tour with people from the boat trip. It's central and less than five minutes walk from the main bus and train stations.

The whole experience was very informative, even though I have visited bath before, I definitely learnt a few new things.
For instance, the Jacobs ladders in the Bible feature here. Phoebe our guide seemed to know everything about the area, and was fantastic!
