This was a fantastic insight into street art photography, Lou was great at helping get photos I wouldn't normally take and giving an insight to the area

Had a great time with Lou on her street photography tour of Shoreditch. Picked up some great tips both for my composition but she also helped me understand some settings on my camera which I rarely use.

An absolutely amazing session - I would give it more than five stars if I could! Lou was extremely knowledgeable and approachable, and with an infinite amount of patience tutored me through the how to setup my camera and tripod for night photography. Not only did she take me through the basics, she also went through how to frame and take creative shots that really stand out! She also knows all the best spots to get "the" shot, and even happily accommodated my request to get some Christmas light shots. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to learn about night photography, and to see London - especially Trafalgar Square, differently at night.

I had a wonderful time taking night photos around London with Lou. She is very knowledgeable about night photography and photography in general. I learned a lot from her. She talked about composition, using light to compose the picture, and being patient. I got some great photos of the London Eye and St. Paul Cathedral from across the Thames. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn more about night photography.

I’m a budding photographer and wanted to learn nighttime photography. I also wanted to see London at night. I found Lou on this site and jumped at the opportunity. In spite of a bit of rain and wind, Lou did not disappoint. I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed seeing London at night. Lou is a sweetheart even though she struggled to understand my southern drawl. She is a pro’s pro and has forgotten more about photography than I could hope to know. The tour with Lou was fantastic, I learnt a lot about my new camera and how to take photos using manual settings. She was very easy to follow and answered my many questions. We walked lots of kms and I was able to capture great photos of all the places I was so keen to see and photograph in London. Communication was fantastic prior to the tour and instructions for the meeting place were easy to understand and Lou was very punctual. I highly recommend Lou and hope to be back again one day for another tour.

The tour with Lou was fantastic, I learnt so much from her easy style. I had the most amazing day with Lou . She was lovely! so helpful and encouraging- really friendly with endless patience ( which is needed with me) . We spent the day in Shoreditch /Brick lane which was perfect for street photography. I will be seeing Lou again next month and also considering signing up for a mentorship . If you are thinking of learning more about street photography then Lou is the best don’t hesitate!

Fantastic tour and experience. Lou was a great mentor explaining lighting, composition, exposure and focussing methods. Also gave me some practical tips for night photography and photographing in public. I have now got some professional looking images which I cannot wait to process back home in Australia. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to improve their city eve/night photography.

Lou showed us that even in inclement weather we could still take great photos. She was an excellent teacher and tour guide. We would recommend doing this tour if you want to take some great shots of London.

I did the Christmas Lights tour with Lou and learned a ton so I decided to take another tour with her to refine my skills. I had a great time - made better by the recent rain and captured some really cool shot. Lou is a wizard at settings and helped me really understand night photography much better. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended. This nighttime photography tour with Lou exceeded all my expectations. I was on holiday with my family in London and was looking for a photography guide to help improve my nighttime photography skills, while exploring the city. I found Lou on Trip Advisor and read through her ratings which were excellent. She did not disappoint! From the beginning, Lou took the time to understand my photography skills and what I was hoping to accomplish during the evening. Her background in fine arts, teaching and her superior photography skills made for a most enjoyable evening and one of the highlights of my trip to London. By the end of the 3-hour photo session, I had a much better understanding of my own camera, and more importantly how to compose great photos which I would be proud to display in my home. Had a great photo tour with Lou. We were on the South Bank and got some great nighttime shots. She helped me get the right exposures and composition. Photographers of all skill levels can learn a great deal from her. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone that wants to take home some great photos of London.
